This has been bothering me for a while so I'm gonna go ahead and post my review. About a year ago I…read morebought a dryer. I went in late in the evening about 10 minutes before they closed and found the dryer I wanted. The young guy showed a dryer that I liked so I told him that I would be in the next day to buy it and pick it up. He said he would let the salesman that would be there tomorrow know that I was coming in to pay for it and pick it up . As soon as I left, they locked the doors because it was after closing time. The next morning my son and I were there before the store opened. A different sales guy comes flying up that morning in his black infinity and jumps out of the car unlocks the doors and runs in. I'm wondering what's his big rush? We were standing outside talking so we talked a few more minutes and then we went inside. Lo and behold that dryer that I wanted wasn't sitting in the same spot. I told him I was there to pick up the dryer that I had looked at yesterday that was sitting in that spot. He said oh that dryer got sold. I said how's that, I was the only customer here when you closed and I'm the first customer here before you open so how did it get sold? That didn't make any sense. When would they have sold it? I ended up buying something different which really wasn't what I wanted, but that was my only transportation that day so I had to buy something. I feel like what happened was he was in a rush to get into the store to move the dryer out and tell me that it had been sold so he could sell me something else and collect the commission instead of the real salesman that had helped me the day before. I figured he was gonna tell the other guy that made the sale that I never showed up so that way the other guy wouldn't get the commission he would since he sold me something else. Here's the kicker ...I went in the next day because I had a gut feeling he was a scammer and lo and behold the dryer that I wanted is sitting there in the same spot as it was when I saw it the first time . He tried to tell me it was a different one, but there's no way. When would they have sold it? I'm there minutes after they close and I'm there early before they open. I believe he lied to me like I said to collect the commission. I wonder how many times he's done that to his coworker? All he has to do is tell him I never showed up to pick it up and then he sell me something else and he gets the commission. The other sales guy was off the day I went in so he would've never known that I came in that day. There's no doubt in my mind that that is what happened. He wanted to make the commission so he lied. By the way I hate the dryer, no matter what setting it's on. It gets too hot, but I can't

Callahan's was referred to me by the GE regional representative because the original company that…read moresold the GE refrigerator was unable to fix the problem with condensation building up inside the refrigerator door The Callahan service person immediately knew what the problem was and ordered a new gasket to better seal the door and then returned within a week with the gasket that they had ordered. Everything was done timely and he also had a suggestion on how to handle a problem with another appliance without a service call where all that was needed was to clean a certain surface within the washing machine. I'll call them first the next time I need service or a new appliance

Frigidaire warranty hired Callahan's Appliance to service my built-in Frigidaire column…read morerefrigerator and freezer repair. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The technician only performed a brief visual inspection, said it was the water manifold system, and assured me he would order the part. When I followed up with customer service, I was told that no part had ever been ordered and there was no record of his report. Frigidaire then sent the same technician back out, and once again, he did absolutely nothing. Despite two unproductive visits and no real service performed, Callahan's still charged Frigidaire warranty $160. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If you own high-end or built-in appliances that require knowledgeable technicians, I strongly recommend requesting a different service provider!!!!
