From the moment we started shopping for a dishwasher, Conner went completely above and beyond to make sure we saw every available option. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right fit -- never pushy, just truly helpful. What really blew us away came after the purchase. When it was discovered that we didn't have the proper electrical plug for our new dishwasher, Conner and the entire Jarrell team didn't hesitate for a second. They came out of pocket to dispatch another installer the very same day to make sure everything was completed properly. That kind of commitment to customer satisfaction is almost unheard of these days. The Jarrell Company was once my go to appliance store in Dallas. Historically they provided great service which included follow up and recommendations. Something must have changed at The Jarrell Company. It is absolutely no better than going to a discount appliance store or a large box store. I will not be going to Jarrell company again after having used it for 30 years. It's unfortunate that the economy has changed so much that businesses are suffering. Our sales person was Matthew Hilger. Matthew's assistant, some woman, was extremely rude on the telephone and could not remember why she had called me nor could she remember the message that I had left on her voicemail. In addition to the comments above, it is very very difficult to reach people on the phone at the Jerrell company. The switchboard operator/greeter person also gave me the wrong information twice. I cannot remember the exact information which was incorrectly shared however, Matthew Hilger's assistant told me on two occasions that the information I had received from the switchboard operator/greeter was incorrect. We bought our dishwasher and finally installed it three months later. Our money was tied up for all three months. Unfortunately, someone in my family told me that the dishwasher handles were included. Now, two weeks after installation my husband has to open the dishwasher for me because I am unable to, and we choose to leave one of the drawers open at all times for loading to obviate the need for my husband to open the dishwasher for me every time. Talk about a cluster! I am looking forward to receiving handles and having the integrated panels installed. One more note. I called the Jarrell company and asked to speak to my sales person Matthew Hilger. The person answering the phone seemed quite surprised that Mathew was my sales person. Throughout the entire three month relationship that we have had trying to procure this dishwasher I have encountered similar responses From Matthew's assistant. I am left with the impression that Mathew is not a sales person for residential, but generally works with commercial accounts. read more

Bought a refrigerator for $10k this August, now the icemaker has stopped working in less than 2 months. I called and they told me that they'll "get back to you soon", meanwhile my $400 12 year old secondary fridge works great. While I'm on the subject of customer service (or lack thereof), the delivery people couldn't figure out how to get it installed (I ended up removing a small trim piece and it fit just fine), so I had to do that myself. On a $10k refrigerator. Some of the fault belongs to Viking but to be honest I think this place doesn't really give a crap once they get your money. I'm willing to revise this depending on what sort of service I eventually(?) receive, but so far I am not impressed. I expect a same-day callback when I'm spending this kind of money on an appliance. If Best Buy can do it, why can't this place? PS - I now see a lot of similar reviews. I wish I had seen them before I bought from here. Surely these "high end" products deserve a higher (not lower) standard of service than a random big box retailer? read more

We bought a 48 refrigerator, a washer, and a dryer machine from The Jarrel Co., all the appliances should be delivered on august 10, however, until now, Sept 11, The Jarrel didn't deliver the dryer machine, and worst they don't answer when they will deliver. I was referred to the Jarrell Company by a fantastic contractor that I know. I have known him for years so I definitely trust him. My Microwave blew and it was the original one. Of course, they do not make the same exact one 20 years later. The contractor referred me to The Jarrell Company. They referred me to a great installation company. The installation company came out, measured, looked at the old microwave, and made their recommendations to Jarrell. Jarrell ordered my new microwave based on the information, and it didn't break the bank. Today the installation company installed it, and it fit perfectly. No modifications required, including the original trim kit. I would highly recommend The Jarrell Company for any appliance installation. They are pros! read more

I felt bad that they require the staff to wear the masks regardless of whether or not they have been vaccinated or have gotten over the virus. It is purely political as well as a worry about liability from the attorneys. The staff is qualified and they have a great selection. From the time we ordered and paid it will be 5 weeks before we get our plumbing fixtures...and we ordered the ones that didn't have the long wait. read more

Update over a year later. I ordered appliances through this company last year as did some family members. This company had an employee stealing (this was what they told us not speculation) and now they're trying to reconcile their books. They're claiming balances are past due when everything was paid in full. Buyers beware! In terms of my previous review someone authorized by the manufacturer did finally show up to look at the issue with my double oven unit and it was resolved. read more

The sales staff was responsive, informative and easy to deal with. They beat every price we had received (HD, Lowes, Conns, NFM, plus a couple of the local distributors), but more importantly to us, they provided exceptional customer service! We live over an hour away from the store but once we made the decision to go with The Jarrell Company, we were able to handle the transaction over the phone. The refrigerator we wanted was not in stock so they had to special order. I though this would be a road block but two days after we placed the order, our refrigerator was delivered, exactly when they had promised. We really appreciated the phone calls updating us confirming delivery. As previously stated, this was the best experience we have ever had in purchasing appliances from any retailer. We are so glad we bought our Bosch refrigerator from Jarrell vs one of the big box stores. We almost went with a freestanding Liebherr but couldn't find one to view in person and didn't feel comfortable biting the bullet on something we couldn't see. Our sales rep, Taylor, was still amazing even though we ended up going with a less expensive model and worked with us on delivery. Everyone has been very responsive and acted quickly to have a door replaced on our fridge since it was delivered with a small ding. Delivery was way more professional than when I used Home Depot on my last fridge. Due to our experience we are ordering a matching dishwasher even though ours works great and will use them again when it is time to replace our 36" range. read more

BAIT AND SWITCH! After asking about available vanities, the salesperson showed me a floor model for sale, and I told him I would like to buy it. At that point, he told me that he might have to sell the whole collection together - even though each item was priced individually. He went to find out (if he didn't even know from the way it was marked, how could a customer?) and then told me he could not sell it to me. Then why offer it to begin with? I called to make an appeal to the manager, who didn't think it was worth her time to call back. We stopped back in and she was just chatting at her desk rather than returning phone calls. When we showed her the vanity was STILL not marked to be sold as a set, she actually inferred I had never been shown it that way to begin with - even though I had never met her. Interesting way to treat customers...first offer something not available for sale and then infer the customer is lying. The salesman was quick to let me know I could buy the vanity full price by itself. Hmmm...that seems to have been the intent all along. I will not buy one item from this company and advise others to consider the same. Integrity doesn't seem to be important or customers. read more

This place is great! I have recently relocated my family to Dallas and am remodeling our home. My neighbor told me to go by The Jarrell Company to shop for plumbing and appliances, as they were the best in town. I was blown away with their selection and service. After showing us around, the sales staff helped us pick out fixtures and appliances. The process was quick and painless and I wish everything else with my remodel is this smooth. I was really impressed when everything was delivered and the appliances were installed, as they were very professional and efficient. They showed up when they said they would and went to work without delay. When they were done, they picked up everything and my wife could not tell they had even been there. Moving to a new city is difficult, as you have to find new places to shop, eat, and relax without feeling out of place. This place felt like home and I will continue to shop here and send my friends and coworkers here as well. read more
