Lovecraft was delicious. Everyone at our table was happy with what they got. Prime rib sandwich special, chicken chimichanga, and I got the carne adovada. It was a little different from adovadas I've had in the past but it was so good! And the fresh made tortillas were some of the best I've had. Amazing local beer selection and our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. The interior is... interesting. Kind of seems like it's not sure whether to be a restaurant or a dark hip lounge. But I would definitely go back, especially because I want to try out the foosball and ping pong tables! read more

Ok...hey have been open a week and time for some constructive criticism. on the plus side...great beer and wine selection. Food selection is very good. Good start on the remodel. Karen behind the bar is adorable!! The minus side: I ordered the enchilada. Needs to be spiced up. needed salt. don't be afraid, its Mexican food!! also, the food was slightly warm but the inside of the stack was COLD....sent it back to get reheated and came out luke warm. Mexican food needs to be PIPING hot!! especially if I send it back!! Big no-no. TV's are not working. cable problems. Do not open the place unless you are COMPLETELY ready...you must hit the ground in FULL stride!! ditch the ping pong table!! Lastly, needs some ceiling treatments, maybe hanging clouds and some cool lighting. down the road I would make the bar much bigger. tables are not needed in a place like this. maybe build a peninsula out from the existing bar so it has three sides. people want to sit at the bar!!! Hope they make it! that place has had so many thing in there. the new storefront was a great move!! Tell the dude with the computer at the bar to go somewhere else!!! read more

Owners were dismissive, condescending and critical of a beer oeficionado. They couldn't be bothered to explain or elaborate on the varieties of beer styles they have on tap. Their beers were not that good and I don't think I will be going back. Not to mention they seemed to feel like they were being taking advantage of in some way by providing a small taste of a particular beer. read more

Always amazing- service, food and drinks. They keep things very clean and safe for visitors.

My wife and I came here for the first time last Friday on a whim. Glad we did. It's now in our rotation. Very unique place - from the decor to the food to the drink. And an eclectic clientele when we were there! Sat at the bar. Rebecca the owner is awesome! Had a fun conversation with her. Great beer selection as others have noted and the food has a very deep flavor from the smoke. Adovada had a little too much cinnamon perhaps but it was a unique flavor that worked pretty well. This place is a neighborhood gem! read more

Loved the ambiance and staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and the food was bomb!

This is more than a bottle shoe. They have really good food and many different kinds of beer to try. Food is New Mexico style!

Great selection and service. Food selection was a little confusing and spicy if you're not careful but really good and enjoyable. Live music was a nice touch. Nice to see independents doing a great job inside the neighborhood. read more

This could be a very fun place. Great atmosphere. But the service was AWFUL !! The wait staff was very nice and friendly but they hardly ever came around. It took over an hour for our food to get brought out to our table. It took forever to have someone check on us and to get us more drinks. We spent over three hours there trying to eat. Sure it was busy, but it was very unorganized. An employee from the kitchen kept bringing food out and leaving it near the bar. Then employee's would look at it like "Who's is this, where does it go". Very unorganized. I ordered a drink and it never came. Took over 20 minutes to get one. It was this way all night. If it wouldn't have been for us having to meet friends there, we probably would have left. They definitely needed more help. I won't be going back with this kind of service and prices. They know they are busy Thursday's , Friday's and Saturday's. They should be more prepared and staff accordingly. read more

Lovecraft helped me get through Covid. It was my go to place for take. Wife and son loved tacos and I went with chimi. I do have a soft spot for New Mexican food and sauces so easy to enjoy. Beer selection is great. read more

This is a cool and unique place. Great food and great beer selection. You can get craft stuff on draft or grab some good canned beer from the fridge to drink there or take to go. This alone will have me coming back not to mention the service and atmosphere were great too. The owner said they are still dialing things in as far as table service and how ordering is working but I didn't have a problem with their system. I'm hoping to make this a regular happy hour spot. read more

Awesome place! Great food, great beer, & great service! Lovecraft has a great homey atmosphere!

Great beer selection, friendly, knowledgeable staff, food is on point. So glad to have a place like this in the neighborhood

Great food, diverse craft beer list, and warm welcome. Such a treat to feel like a place is part of the neighborhood. In a world where we feel disconnected, dinner here will cure those blues. read more

Amazing selection of beer and new Mexico style food. Adovada was interesting with Cinnamon, but the chicken and brisket on anything are where it's at. Service is very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

Really good food, great beer selection. We were all very happy with our choice. Smokey bacon wrapped jalapeños, chimi style smothered burrito, superfood salad with brisket, layered enchiladas..... read more

Today, my wife and son and grandson and I went to love craft. We have been there several times and it has always been a great value and quite delicious. Tonight we went in for their Sunday special, Fried Chicken! We had never had it before so we were excited. We sit down, the gal comes over and takes our drink order. I ordered a beer from Lake Havasu that tasted like a 50/50 bar! If you like sweet beers this is one you will enjoy, also. The gal comes back to take our order and informs us they are out of chicken. We were there at 445. I half jokingly say "don't you think you should have led with that, before you took the drink orders?" She walked away and never came back. Another guy took our order. I ordered the green Chile burrito that I have had on several occasions. My son did the same and my wife ordered the burger. The burritos came and the were about 60% of the usual size. It could be that Covid has forced them to reassess their portions, and this is the new size. Idk. I think we may take a break from Love Craft. Tap house Kitchen is right down the street and they have been amazing since the new ownership took over. read more

Great selection of beer/wine, super friendly, and the brisket was delightful. The table next to us had ordered the enchiladas - which looked, and were reportedly, great. I'll try those next time for sure. Ping pong and table games were a nice touch too. A great local place to meat friends for a night out, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. read more

I was charged 2x for a brisket French fry basket.. they skimped on the amount of fries and the brisket came in a plastic condiment container which they charged me 2x claiming it was 4 oz of meat instead of the default 2oz (which I never asked for double amount).. I'd be surprised if over 1oz of meat was in that plastic condiment container. I'm not opposed to paying for quality food but I have a real issue with being charged double for nothing. (Especially when I never requested that). Not thrilled and not sure I'd go back. Bummer loved the ambience! read more

First time in! We went in around 3pm where their progressive happy hour started (love this idea!). Great service, great craft beer and wine, BUT most importantly the food was AMAZING! Try the enchiladas with the white sauce and brisket....It was perfectly spicy and delicious. I left and wanted to go back immediately! The vibe is friendly and wonderful. We'll be back for sure....maybe sooner than later read more

My friends and I stopped in after work, which is apparently a pretty popular time to go as the parking lot was completely full. We took this as a good sign! So we parked around the corner and walked in. The place looks FANTASTIC and is pretty well laid out given they had a big box to work with. The beer list was full of different options so everyone could order something to appease their palate. We didn't order food but the menu looks great and I'll definitely give it a shot when I stop in again. The only complaint we had was that it was SUPER loud. If they can figure out how to get some sound deadening installed, wall coverings, foam on the ceiling, anything, that would really help. My friends and I were literally yelling at each other and we were only 2'-3' away. So I'll probably avoid visiting again when the lot is full but will try it again when it is a little less busy. All in all, its a great place to have in an area that is desperate for good beer and quality food at a reasonable price. read more

We were searching for somewhere with good food and a variety of beers, and we found it. This place was AMAZING! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but we struck gold today. The inside was decorated so cute. We ended up being there for happy hour. They had great selections for food and drink. We shared an appetizer, both had separate plates for dinner, and shared the best dessert. The bourbon strawberry shortcake was sooooooo good. The food was absolutely amazing, but I also want to mention our server Ryan. He was knowledgeable about every single thing on the menu and clearly took pride in his workplace. It was very refreshing. There are also a few refrigerators of single beers to buy. We grabbed some of those with our leftovers, and plan on going back very soon. I can't say enough about this place. I'm fairly certain I've never reviewed anything on here, but I've also never felt so inclined to leave a review. Support local business and go here. I would hate to see this place fail. read more

Amazing beer selection. Smoked meats are really good. This place will get better and better.

This place opened recently and has just reworked its business model. It was a place where you order at the counter but now it's full service and people seem to love the change! Great beer variety and really yummy food. Easy to find and lots of parking. Enjoy! read more

Cute place. Just opened 1 hour ago. Hectic put they will get it organized. Nice selection if beers.

Amazing beer and wine selection (including Mead). Tapas style food is delicious. Service was great and atmosphere is spot on.

I want to really like this place and there are things that are pretty great. I see the parking lot full all the time so it is very popular. They have a wide offering of craft beers, rotating on the screen. You do have to be quick or wait as it scrolls through a few times to get a feel for all of them. I checked them out online before going so I was prepared. We met some friends there on a Saturday at 5. The parking lot is very tight...but there were spots. When we went through the doors, it was a wall of sound! Really pretty loud inside, but there was a large group at the community table, so not unexpected. It's kind of dark inside and light on ambience. Once the large group left, I guess it was too quiet, so the music was cranked up to a high level. We could only converse across the table but leaning in. We had good service, but they get busy running around so it seems like a community project. We did try the food and it was tasty. What I really don't like is that everything is disposable except the drinkware. The plates and plastic utensils on the table are kind of off-putting. The food comes out in foil take-out containers. Maybe that seems quaint to some, but I didn't like see all that waste being generated. I guess they are saving the water! I loved the beers and the chicken enchiladas were pretty good. Definitely get the smoke. The rest of the group had various tacos which they enjoyed. Nobody had complaints and nobody had raves. I had high expectations going in because I like the concept and it's good to have so many craft beer options in the neighborhood. I will likely give it another try, now that I am wiser. If it doesn't work out, I can always just get the beer to go! read more

Visited during a quick getaway weekend on a recommendation from a guy at Wren House. We were so happy we came!! Service was fantastic and with joy. The food was nothing short of amazing. We tried at least one of everything on the menu. Our favorites? Enchiladas (any meat, they're all great) with both white and green sauce was a favorite around the table. The red sauce is nice too... But it was only my fav. Tacos were tasty (small but tasty). I'd recommend the traditional version. The bacon wrapped jalepenos were also a delight. Everything was small portions, but the prices reflected that too. Highly recommend. read more

A fun neighborhood spot with a laid back speakeasy vibe. Lots of beers to choose from and a unique food menu.

So happy to have found a place with great beers and great food close to home! They have an awesome vibe and attentive staff. Did I mention they have wine on tap read more

Great New Spot, Awesome Beer Selection plus tasty New Mexican Food with Smoked Meats! Cant get any better

I want this place to be a success, as our neighborhood badly needs great places to eat. So please take this review in the spirit of me wanting your place to succeed! I love the concept of a neighborhood place to hang out. But, with the interior as it is, without any baffling or noise reduction, it is so loud even at 5:30 we could not have a conversation with our friends sitting less than 2 feet across the table. Maybe add some type of ceiling baffles or soft panels to reduce the noise? We ordered chips and queso with the delicious brisket, but our order came out with no brisket (which was brought later) and tiny pieces of broken cold chips that were next to impossible to dip and have the brisket on top of. Maybe source out some sturdier chips? The salsa would not come out of the glass bottles- maybe squeeze bottles would work? Our chicken and brisket tacos were great, but again no salsa could be accessed to put on them. The brisket enchilada was absolutely delicious! Spicy and flavorful. The staff was super nice, very friendly, but we had to guess/lip read what was being said due to noise. Our guys loved the tap selection, really nice to see so many selections. Knowing this is a pretty new place, we sure hope you can succeed, I will give it another try. We would love to have you open at lunch! read more
