Miso Soup
Karyn H.

I door dashed. Came hot and fresh and on time. The chicken teriyaki was excellent. Not too saucy great size pieces. Ordered white rice. Small container. Ordered 2 portions of Tuna maki. It was fresh, nicely presented and very tasty. Also had miso soup large size. Very tasty. Nice cubes of tofu and seaweed. If I lived here i'd. order again.

Beef curry noodle soup

We ordered a rainbow roll, drunken noodles and beef curry soup. The beef curry soup had great flavor and nice tender beef. The noodles were a great addition. The rainbow roll was nothing to write home about, but nonetheless good. The drunken noodles unfortunately were wayyy too saucy. I should have ordered some rice to eat it with after but that's ok. The flavor was good, albeit incredibly sweet , but no spice AT ALL and the menu said spicy. The broccoli was cooked nicely. Again the chicken was nice and tender. The place inside is very small but in the hour we were there there was a ton of to go orders.

Hot And Sour Soup

Got delivery from Door Dash. Arrived fairly quickly so at least main dish was still fairly hot. Had gotten a meal from this place before and thought it was not that good but wanted to give it another chance. Did like it a bit better this time, but still found it pretty mediocre. Got Kung Pao Chicken, fried rice and Spring Roll. All came well packaged. Portions are a decent size. The Chicken was ok...but did not have quite the zing I like in Kung Pao. Spring Roll was fine but a bit undercooked and the rice was ok but kind of bland. Better with Duck Sauce. Hot And Sour Soup was tasty but far from the best I have had. This is not really a zing review that old Stinky P.is posting, and maybe he will order from them again sometime, but will be in no hurry to do so.

Pork lo mein

Lotus is a great go to in the area! Food is always so fresh and ready within 15 minutes. Everyone that works there is so nice and makes you feel at home. You can order online via their website which is super easy to use.

After several visits, it's safe to say this place is overall better than average. Their sweet and sour chicken along with general Tsos is really fantastic. That being said, there are a few things that aren't that good. First , their fried rice is pretty oily and has a weird flavor/aroma too it. It's almost peanut buttery. Very weird. While I didn't order it this time around, their Lo Mein is loaded with onions. And the last thing is rather trivial but irks me. They don't provide any duck sauce with their meals. You must purchase a rather small portion for $.55. Is it good? Absolutely delicious. This last visit, I paid for 2 but the receipt on the bag reflected only one. Guess they got me for $.55. Massively annoying. Could easily be 4.5 starts if not for the rice and duck sauce.

So good. Got dinner combo w general gaos and fried rice and spring roll. Such good value, big portion and yummy taste. Exactly what I wanted. Yay!

Yummy deliciousness

The best Chinese takeout in the area. All the food is yummy. The curries are to die for. The owner is friendly and remembers you when you come in. A cute little take out joint. I recommend my end highly.

Spicy California Maki, Philadelphia Maki, Spicy Tuna Maki: delicious!

Delicious sushi! I really enjoyed my meal: the Spicy California Maki, Philadelphia Maki and Spicy Tuna Maki with Miso Soup. I used Yelp to order my delivery, and the only downside was that I wasn't notified when it arrived. I did go outside eventually and find it there, still yummy and fresh. Overall 4/5! I will be back!

Space is small but homey - a little drafty by the door though so if you come during the winter, try to sit away! The menu has a great selection of dishes from appetizers to sharables to entrees. I highly recommend the full fish - fried and delicious. The hot pot soup is also super flavorful and great to split with a friend. Their papaya salad is also EXTREMELY spicy, be warned! Overall, I happily will return to this spot whenever craving Thai food. Good portions, friendly staff, and tasty food!

Fighting Fish Thai Cuisine is a small restaurant located in an industrial area near Encore Resort…read more Despite its modest size, the restaurant is cozy and air-conditioned, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal even on a hot day. We started with the pork jowls appetizer. They were flavorful on their own, but the accompanying dipping sauce added an extra layer of bold flavor for those who want it. For our main dishes, we ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup with chicken and the Pad See Ew at a medium spice level. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. A word of caution: their spice levels are definitely on an authentic Thai or Asian scale. If you're accustomed to typical American spice levels, medium here may feel quite hot. I love spicy food, so the medium level provided a great balance of heat and chili flavor. My husband, however, found it too spicy. The Tum Yum noodle soup featured a rich, savory broth with just the right amount of sourness. While I really enjoyed the dish, I noticed that many of the noodles were broken into shorter strands. We also shared the Thai Chili Fish, which came with two large deep-fried fish fillets and a generous bowl of sweet and savory chili sauce. The sauce reminded me of sweet-and-sour sauce but with a stronger chili kick. The flavors were fantastic, although the presentation could have been better. The host/servers consisted of just two people, but both were friendly and welcoming. The woman serving us was especially funny and entertaining, which added to the overall experience. Overall, I had a great meal and would definitely return whenever I'm in Boston. There are several other dishes on the menu that I'm eager to try.

Champion Chicken with Clams: The signature dish, a bit too spicy for me... The chicken was very tender. Flash-fried Sliced Snakehead: The best dish of the meal! The fish slices were so tender they melted in my mouth, mildly spicy but very fragrant, with a slightly sweet and sour taste. Golden Crispy Pork Belly: The dipping sauce was quite unique, a complex flavor of salty and sour, I didn't know how to describe it at first... Kung Pao Lava Tofu: Compared to authentic Kung Pao, it was a bit more like sweet and sour, but it suited my personal taste. Lava tofu is also a Yunnan specialty! Yunnan Ham with Mixed Mushrooms: The mushrooms were okay, quite fresh, but lacked wok hei (wok aroma), and the ham tasted really like overcooked lean meat. Handmade Braised Pork Soup Dumplings: Very pre-made, thick skin, sweet. Not recommended. Chinese Broccoli Hearts with Sesame Sauce: A savior for Cantonese vegetables... Similar to Caesar salad dressing, though a bit unusual, at least it's not spicy.

It was our first time here, and the first thing that stood out was the price. We thought Seattle was expensive, but this was on another level. The food came out hot and at a reasonable pace, but unfortunately, the taste just wasn't there for us. The fried pork was especially disappointing because it was very chewy. The one highlight was the fried mushrooms, which we really enjoyed. Overall, for the price and the food quality, it just didn't feel worth it. Probably won't be back.

Huge shoutout to Eduardo, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our sisters holiday outing feel special and intentional, and to our server Paulina, who was attentive, warm, and truly wanted everything to be perfect. And it was. Let's talk ambiance first because whew. Chic. Stylish. Aesthetic on aesthetic. Even the walk to the bathroom felt curated. Ladies... the mirror alone deserves a moment. Full body selfie approved. Now the drinks. The mocktail I had was SO good. Balanced, flavorful, refreshing. I like a mocktail that has flavor and layers without being super sweet. The apps thoughhhhhh! They deserve their own paragraph because baby... The crab rangoon was TO DIE FOR. That old school wrap dough situation? I have been hunting for that exact texture and flavor forever. My fave restaurant switched dough and I haven't had a good Rangoon since then until now. It was crispy, nostalgic, and perfect. The fried egg rolls? Delicious. The pickled cucumbers? Bright and refreshing and er literally ate every drop, lol. But the WINNER... those fall off the bone ribs. I might have made a sound when I bit into them. Cooked to perfection. A full blown flavor party in my mouth. The scallion pancakes were the only thing that did not hit for me. The dough was thicker and heavier than I prefer. I love mine light and airy like traditional scallion pancakes. If they leaned that way I would have been obsessed. Our main courses... baybeeee The Dan Dan noodles... I did not even get a bite. I went to ask my sister for a taste and they were GONE. All of them. That says everything. My other sister loved the dumplings and even more that they fried them for her instead of serving them traditionally. And the sauce with those dumplings... Let me tell you about the sauce. I am OBSESSED. I took some home and Eduardo generously gave me more to take. That is top tier service and an at home sauce party, lol. My fried house rice was excellent. The mix of veggies and flavors was perfection. With everything else we ordered I could not even finish it. And then... dessert. Eduardo and Paulina surprised us with a complimentary cheesecake that was so light and decadent, topped with fruit and homemade whipped cream. Next time I am absolutely saving space for that. The customer service was truly top tier. The decor, the food, the staff, the background music. Everything PERFECT. My sisters and I sat for hours. We laughed. We ate. We shared emotions. We were present. That alone tells you how comfortable and welcoming this space is. I would go back today. I cannot wait to bring my husband and some of my fellow foodies. Modern and elegant vibe inside with kind staff willing to explain the menu in detail. The first time I went here years ago, I was a bit disappointed. The menu is more so small plates/tapas style. My parents and I came for lunch and found the food to be extremely salty and although it was Asian fusion, I thought that the Asian flavors were quite lackluster. I gave it another try a couple of years back with a friend for dinner service and found the food to better this time around. We shared their eggplant, salmon rolls, lemon shrimp dumplings, and tuna two ways. Eggplant was plump and I believe had some Thai basil or other aromatic stirfried into it which I appreciated. Salmon rolls were fun and I appreciated the sauce. Lemon shrimp dumplings were oily but packed with flavor and I also liked the creamy tangy sauce that came with it. Tuna two ways was the favorite; big fan of crispy rice at sushi restaurants so if that's your jam you'd like this.

The beef, shrimp, water spinach, and XLBs were the high points. The beef was cooked in a slightly numbing sauce. The shrimp was perfectly crispy and doused in the signature sweet sauce. We didn't prefer the shengjiangbao, because the filling was a bit dry rather than juicy. The lotus roots were also pretty lightly seasoned - we had expected some more flavor. This is a solid Chinese spot in Boston! I think there are a ton of classic dishes done well. The service was a bit slow to me (it took about 30 min to get our first appetizers and we had to prompt for the check). It didn't wow me overall, but it was tasty.

It had a flakey crust and interior with spiced beef. Probably my favorite! The bean jelly was ok. The jelly rectangles were a little firmer than I expected and bit spicy but not bad. The laghman noodles were a little overcooked. The restaurant staff were nice to accommodate us and make the Laghman substituted with chicken instead of the usual beef (for our friend with dietary restrictions). The chicken I think was unseasoned because of this because it normally isn't in the laghman. (I wonder if their original beef default would've been better) The spicy fried chicken bits in red peppers was pretty good (you can adjust the spice level).
