There's no glam here, but it's clean, organized, friendly staff and the food is delicious. Steamed dumplings were good, nothing crazy. Wife had the friend rice and I had the chili chicken and shrimp. Both were hot, well mixed and delicious. Lots of flavor and you could taste the different ingredients, which I love; spices, sauce, etc don't over power other ingredients. Oh the beer was cold to :-) I could tell locals come here often and know the staff. I like that and says a lot. Also, I believe the owner's family stopped in and the granddaughter was so cute. We ordered the beef mongolian dish and it was delicious! The flavors were spot on, the portion was big, and the prices are comparable to others. Food was 4 stars. If we are in the area again I'd love to try other dishes. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and the food was fast. 4 stars to the employees! We went out to eat here last night with the family. We left our son's stuffed bunny that he has had since birth there. We called the next morning to pick up the bunny and no one had seen the stuffed animal yet this was the only place we went to and the went straight home. Please check your camera and return our missing friend. $150 reward to owner, please help us. We also eat here all the time. I ordered Lotus Hunan for dinner. I called up the restaurant and placed my order. After about 15 minutes I went to pick it up. I walked in the door. Told them my name, paid and they gave me my food. The person working at the front was very nice so I would say that the service was good at pick up. I didn't eat in the restaurant but from what I saw it was a large open area with booths, tables and chairs. I left with my food for home. I ordered the chicken fried rice with vegetables and egg rolls. The chicken fried rice with vegetables comes with chicken, egg, green onion, carrots, and green peas, mixed with rice that's fried and soy sauce. It has just a little bit of flavor. I usually add sweet and sour sauce which makes the fried rice sweet. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. I eat my egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce as well. Wow ... Really. I ordered from this restaurant to be delivered to my hotel room (via a third-party delivery service), based entirely on Yelp reviews. Glad I did. First, I ordered the sesame fish to go with my order because I'd driven all day and my eyes were bigger than my stomach. But they were fun to eat and tasted pretty good -- a sesame crunch that encompassed moist light white fish. Throughout my travels, I've not seen these on a menu, and I'm not sure that they are anything more than a cook's invention at this joint. Still, I enjoyed them. Perfect for dipping in duck sauce, as the salty fish contrasted nicely. But I really ordered from here for the hot & sour soup, my standby, and the beef hot pepper sauce, which looked very appealing. The hot & sour soup was delicious sipped straight from the Styrofoam cup. It was an excellent combination of spice and tart, with nice strands of toothsome ingredients. The beef hot pepper sauce was simplicity perfected -- tender beef in a slightly spiced sauce, coupled with thinly sliced al dente bamboo shoots. Outstanding. These folks go out on a limb when it comes to Americanized Chinese food. My meal was slightly different than the norm, and more then worth a repeat to this place. **COVID-19 take out review** Hubby and I were in the area as we dropped off our pup for a mini makeover. We called in to place our order - given a 15min time frame and instructed to call when ready for curbside delivery. Gentleman on the phone was very polite and food was ready on time. I had the Sesame Chicken - delicious but not a fan of the rice - while hubby truly enjoyed the Roast Duck. However, the latter special does not include rice - bummer. With so many Asian restaurants not offering dine in, we appreciated that they were open and COVID careful. Service was very pleasant and the food was delicious. They have plentiful lunch offerings at reasonable prices. I had the beef and chicken delight. It's not actually on the menu but the waitress offered the beef and chicken combination when I told her I liked both. The dish had lots of different veggies and a good amount of protein. I like spicy, but most restaurants don't seem to be able to do that to my liking. Lotus Hunan came through with plenty of spice! We will return soon!!! read more

This is your standard strip center sweet and sour pork Chinese place. That being said and with lower expectations we had an okay lunch. I specifically asked if the fried dumplings were pan fried or deep fried and was told pan fried so ordered them. They were small, tasted factory made and DEEP fried! Wonton soup was good albeit very salty. Sesame chicken was good but fried rice had been sitting out a while and needed some soy sauce for color. Vwry large portion for lunch could be shared. I've never seen american style sweet sour sauce for eggroll that is orange instead of red but the extra fried eggroll skin was nice. I stopped by 1 minute before closing just to get some steamed rice. Initially I was turned away, and obviously so. They were basically already closed and that was totally understandable. However, on my way out of the door I passed a gentleman named Raymond (manager or owner maybe?) and he asked me if I was ok and had everything I needed. I told him about my incredibly bold quest for white rice so late at night, and he quickly went and procured me some of the nutritious staple from the back, refusing to take payment for it because it was "just steamed rice". I know it's "just" rice, but the sentiment was incredibly kind and makes me all the more eager to visit again to enjoy amazing food - that is INCREDIBLY reasonably priced, I might add. The people are SO nice, the service is excellent, and their Curry Chicken is my all time favorite! I usually go there for lunch and to read my book by myself and they make me feel very comfortable. I love their egg rolls and hot and sour soup too, but the thing that brings me back is the Curry Chicken. With big chunks of onion ... mmm!
