Wholly crap. This place has gone downhill fast. We been here a bunch of times in the past for birthday parties, and thought it was fine in the past. But we came here on Sept 9 2017 for another party. When we got here, we found it odd that all the exterior doors were open on the 95 degree summer day in Livermore. Turns out, the AC was off or broken. And it seemed to have been that way due to all the fans around the place. Second, half the games were broken or turned off. Really? One, maybe two games out of service is fine. But damn. Two of the 5 ski ball games were out. The other one took a bunch of credits from my card. But who am I to complain about a few bucks. What will the 18 year old workers do anyway? Third, the soda and water vending machine was broken. Really? It was stifling hot in here and the vending machine was out. Yeah, I get it. Go buy drinks at the counter. Not really my point. And the people here on this day looked and acted shady. It was bad. The pizza and chicken nuggets were at least edible. But we got out of dodge real quick. Compare this place to Jumpity Bumpit in Hayward and you'll understand where I'm coming from. Do me a favor and don't subject your kids to this place. I won't be coming here anymore. read more

This place has such great potential. But they are understaffed and when there was more staff there later in the day they weren't doing anything. It's extremely dirty and many games were broken. Most of the staff were not very good about enforcing safety rules or friendly. The girl at the front desk was very nice at check in. My son enjoyed it lots for his first time there. However, it would just be nice if it was a bit cleaner. And if you pay for a vip package to do laser tag for example unlimited there's actually somebody working it. We were there for 3.5 hours and played one laser tag game. They maybe had 3 games the entire time I was there. More friendly staff and regular cleaning would make this place great. Honestly chuckie cheese is way cleaner and less expensive arcade with better prizes. read more

Took my soon to be 3 and 1 yr old. Arrived about 15 mins after opening on a Friday and was the first ones here. Staff was very nice and friendly. The play structure was nice, big and pretty clean. Since my kids are young we didn't experience anything other than the play structure. I did walk around the mini golf and it was pretty nice. It was dark with black lights and the dinosaur theme was good. They played Disney songs the whole time so that was a plus. The arcade had your typical games (racing, basketball, skeeball, etc). I didn't try their food but the pizza that I did see come out the kitchen looked decent. I would've given this place 5 stars but there were a few things that made me take one off. I understand the whole requirement for everyone wearing their "safety socks" but the staff member (very nice lady) who was supervising the play structure was strict about everyone wearing their safety socks, even my 11 month old that can't walk yet. That wasn't too much of an issue but it's $3 socks for someone that can't walk. A pretty big one was even though it was slow and not a lot of kids our whole visit, they kept letting kids older than 4 in the toddler area. They kept trying to run my little one over with the big blocks inside the toddler area and running up and down the structure. The big kids stayed in the toddler area and I kept having to take my little one out. Lastly they have two giant fans in place of AC. They do have a big fan in the mini golf. But having no AC, I just cannot imagine what it's like in here when it's warmer outside. Other than those things, I'd recommend this place. It's the closest indoor play area (other than a trampoline place) to us. Definitely come here either at opening (for a smaller crowd) or when it's not hot outside (because NO AC). read more

My family and I went to Lost Worlds Adventures in Livermore today. My son was looking forward to playing in the play structure, and I am so glad I accompanied my son into it. There was a tunnel that was "sectioned off" with flimsy plastic, similar to a tablecloth cover, and two strands of caution tape that didn't keep any kids out. There was a giant hole in the plastic sheet (see attached photo) that my son started to go through, and thankfully I was there to stop him. Another area, the Spider Climbing Area, was "sectioned off" the same way as the tunnel and again had huge holes in the plastic. Beyond the plastic, there was a large hole in the floor (see attached photo) that a child could easily fall through and get seriously injured. The safety measures taken to keep small children out of a dangerous area (dangerous, as acknowledged by the signage on the areas which many young children can't read) are truly negligent and put the safety of CHILDREN at risk. Proper safety guidelines should have been followed by those who performed the work, which would have prevented this situation from occurring. The measures taken to block off this area were blatantly insufficient and unacceptable. I informed 2 different employees what I had saw and explained my concerns. I fear for the safety of my children and the safety of all the others, as that structure is very busy with kids running around. Any child could easily get hurt with how dangerous the conditions were, especially without the direct supervision. I was so concerned what I saw today that we left with my daughter and son crying having to leave so soon. I hope and pray this is fixed immediately before anyone is injured. read more

Its a great place to spend an afternoon with my pre-teen nephew. It was inexpensive, interactive, and fun. The staff was easy. Plenty of activities to entertain them. I had a ball and we were able to spend quality time doing something active. He didn't want to leave. read more

We've been here more than once. Latest visit was not good. Bought the VIP wristbands for the family, and the experience was pretty terrible. Waited more than 2 hours to get into the Laser Tag. Between no operators and continuous birthday parties , even VIP passes mean you wait. And wait. We had to finally call someone to open it for us. The just stop running laser tag randomly. The ninja course had 3 operators... on their cell phones ignoring the children in the apparatus. My son was stuck for several minutes and I had to go and get one of the operators. There's no one up on the platforms to help the children, they're in a huddle in their phones. Games cost anywhere from $1 to $5 per play, with many machines broken or taking credits without letting you play. And... when you buy a card for credits they charge you credits for the card. I bought 40 credits, and it gives you 38. Overall... we spent $235 for 5 wristbands, two pitchers of drinks, and 40 credits. In nearly 3 hours we played a round of mini golf and spent 2 hours waiting for them to open the laser tag between parties or just shutting it down for no reason. Used to be a great place to take kids, but it's really a money grab at this point and hardly worth the $40 per person price tag. read more

This place looked awesome on the website and we were so excited but then so disappointed when we actually got here. It wasn't worth the price at all! Almost everything in the play structure was closed off due to being broken, several of the arcade games looked like they were working but once you scanned your card the didn't work, but you still lost the credits. I even told the manager about one of the broken ones we found and he didn't bother to put a sign or anything. The bigger attractions were closed until late afternoon but none of that was on their website. Just overall a huge waste of money for what should have been an awesome afternoon. Awesome kids space! I only wish I had found out about this place when my daughter's abd nieces were younger. :( We visited fir the first time yesterday 12/2019 and just loved it. The dinosaur theme was very cool, my 8 & 11 year old girls really liked the laser tag room, the laser maze room, the dino mini glow golf and the arcades. The kids play area with ball pit, trampoline and climbing structure was enjoyable too, but they were feeling a but past it. :( They also did the "ropes" course, high up and were both scared of the height, but did it anyway. It looked really cool, but they only did it once since they were a bit scared. The ninja warrior/obstacle course down below was also very cool. They didn't do the climbing walls, again because of the height. All in all it was a great experience, not crowded, music wasnt too loud, adequate seating for parents. If you need to get some work done just let the kids lose, station yourself where you can see the front door & work away. I think we will be back again, it really was that enjoyable. :) read more

I got disappointed this time because the site applies a height limit of 48" at the play structure. Basically, most kids cannot play while customers have to pay a full price ticket $39 each. I communicated with the staff there and was told they didn't have the limitation before (I remember it wasn't limiting before), but because some older kids pushed some young kids, so the manager decided to limit kids. First, if there are safety issues, the business should address and improve by having some staff stay in the structure and discipline kids. Second, charge less if you don't allow that many kids to play. Very disappointing play date and will not go there any more. read more

Arrived at 5:45 PM. Got charged $30 admission for one 11 year-old, plus socks, plus my $3.50 entry/penalty for falling for this scam. This place closes at 7 PM... I seriously don't get how they can charge $30 for an hour and 15 minutes. Oh, and that was just for laser tag and video games that are overly priced. No staff. Garbage all over the place. Within 15 minutes I was down an additional 20 bucks on games! 30 minutes and we are still waiting for his turn to play laser tag. There are only a dozen kids here. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I booked a party for late February thinking young children (6 and under) would still all be safely masked indoors, especially since vaccines aren't approved for the under-5 set. Once mask mandates were confirmed to lift on 2/16, I was not comfortable hosting the party here and requested to cancel due to the change in state guidelines. They won't offer a refund, credit or even a reschedule of the party which is completely unacceptable given the fluidity of the pandemic and that children under 5 still aren't vaccinated!! I've been to Lost Worlds a couple times in the past. Today I didn't recognize the fun we experienced during our prior visits. Quality for price we paid was disappointing. Treated my daughter and 4 grandchildren today and could not believe how bad it was. None of the video games worked. The laser tag, even though we had waiting passes, kept serving private parties. Spent $95 on food and it was not good! Small portions and very unorganized order process. I hope Lost Worlds revamps and brings back the fun they used to offer. read more

I would like to say I wish I could love the place but I it was okay. First off, when you go online, the promotion looks great. But when you go in person everything isn't so great. The huge play structure so many things wrong. The ball pit had all their balls crushed and destroyed, needed new balls plus who know if they were sanitized. Second the ball machine in the play structure doesn't work. The floors were dirty as it looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months, there is tape keeping everything bonded together. The arcade seems like a scam, the machine to get your card is a rip off with your money or the machine doesn't work. My husband paid so many times to try to get money from the machine to play in the arcade and but never got his game card and the staff would not help or refund. Staff- wish I would say there was a better system. It seemed like the staff did not enjoy being there. Some were on their phone the whole time. Others would be gone for extended periods of time for our party, including not being very helpful. It just felt like the whole time we were there, all I heard was your being charged for this and this and that. Lastly, I have to be honest. The cost of the party package is outrageous expensive. It is not truly worth the cost of reserving a area for a party for 1.5 hours then being kicked out. As soon as we get there, we set up, 30 mins later food comes out, given 30 mins to eat. We couldn't even sing happy birthday to our babies in the area we reserved. We had to celebrate outside of the base camp. I felt like the whole thing was a just way over priced. The party bags you purchase was not worth $16, socks you have to pay for per child or adult (not included in the package), chicken nuggets should not cost $30 for 30 pieces (they don't even give you 30 pieces). They give you a small plate. You should also not have to pay $5 for ever refill of drink or water being charged for a refill. This will be our last time having our kids party here, unfortunately, I wish the company understood that this place needs to be re-evaluated and train staff properly. Go over their prices and benefits of the party packages again because not everyone is made of money and can afford to pay for every single little thing. read more

Such a cool place but poorly managed. It was really hot. It felt like there was no AC and not enough fans going for the amount of kids running around. My 5yr niece and 8yr old nephew had to stop playing because they were over heating which has never happened. She didn't understand what was going on and I was scared she was going to pass out. She was blinking her eyes slowly, held her head and said something wasn't right. It was honestly really scary. I even felt dizzy and I wasn't even playing like they were. The air circulation was terrible. Great theme and decor, however I saw big cleanliness issues. There were big clumps of dust bunnies, empty boxes and trash under the slides and side areas. Also there was only one employee manning the play area which had 50+ kids running around. He was more concerned with the trampoline which only allowed 3 kids at a time. Thought it was a weird way to manage the space. Also several of the arcade games were not working. I was so excited they had a photo booth, bought a card with credits on it just to use. We piled in, paid, took the pictures and nothing ever came out. Then I got an error code it was out of photo paper. I was so bummed and it was hard enough to wrangle the kids for pictures. I tried looking for an employee to ask anout it or get my money back but couldn't find one. I will probably go back because the kids LOVED it but wish management/owners cared and paid more attention to details like staffing, cleanliness and AC. read more

Overpriced and not very functional when it comes to the arcade games that are presented. The dinosaurs and the concept is awesome - it's just lacking in so many areas. The staff is made up (or was during our visit) of a couple high school girls who had difficulty with counting and calculating point totals for our boys after we played many games and accumulated a few points for a cheap prize. Also the claw games contained really REALLY OLD CANDY which was a bummer. Arcades are always fun so that's why it gets any stars from me and if my kids were older and able to attend the ninja course - I might grade this establishment higher as it looked like fun but they are just little guys soooooo 2 stars it is. read more

We were really excited to visit Lost Worlds for the first time this week. We heard great things about it from friends. My 4 year old had the best time playing in the climbing structure maze area. It's awesome to see a structure so well made and easy for parents to climb in with their kids. However, what I didn't expect was the music that was blaring into the area where on that particular day 4 families were enjoying the space with 6 children (including ourselves) all under the age of 5 years old. I could not believe that they were playing gangster rap which at best wasn't even edited for explicit lyrics. Repeated gun shots, F*** the police, p***y this, f*** that... It was shocking and honestly I grew up on that music in high school in the 90's. I went to the Up In Smoke concert back in the day. I'm not prude. But I didn't take my 4 year old to play in a ball pit and fun maze so I could expose her to that kind of music. Unbelievable. I really hope that was just one workers poor music choice that day because otherwise WOW! Gonna give it another chance because it's a fun place but if that's the music standard we won't ever be back. Idk, this place has fallen off. There's broken equipment..the mats on the floors are lifting causing kids to trip and fall. It just looks dirty and run down on the little kids play area side now. The best thing about the place is the dinosaur themed wall art and statues, but I won't be bringing my kids back. I only came here again because my 3yr old loves dinosaurs. I received an email for their VIP unlimited for Friday (today) and we drove all the way from Stockton to find out the play structure was closed along with some other things. The only reason I'm giving it an extra star is because the lady at the front told us she will let us in before we pay to look around and see if we will stay. Came by with the kiddos when this place opened around 3pm. Let the kids run around in the structure only. After them playing for 20 mins. All of them have crackers all over their pants. I go to investigate since we didn't bring any food. Photos will tell you everything. How are you going to prevent Corona Virus when you can't even clean up crackers? We were the first ones here since they opened so it must have been residual from the last shift. I want to like this place cause I think it's a fun theme for the kids, but not when there is food everywhere. Also disappointed that the ball shooters and ball fountain no longer work. This place is soooo dirty! There were masks and trash everywhere in the play structure. It was sticky and smelled like urine in some parts of the play area. The customer service was below average. I've been here 3 times. I won't be returning, and I will tell you why. Let me list the pros and cons, just to be fair. Pros: - There are a variety of activities here: mini golf, laser tag, play structure, separate party areas, arcade. Cons: - A MOUSE RAN ACROSS OUR PARTY ROOM!!!! - Several parents witnessed it run across the room and into a hole in the wall. When I informed the designated party associate, she responded with a shrug, "Oh." I had to tell her to let the manager know. Her casual reaction tells me she either doesn't care, which would mean Lost Worlds isn't hiring quality staff, or she is desensitized by this type of information, which would mean Lost Worlds gets a lot of mouse reports. Either (or both) is bad. - It was freezing. Unless you are running around nonstop, like some of the children, you will be wearing your Winter coat. - Difficult to find parking. - It's expensive! Whether you are there as a walk-in or there to throw a party for your child, be prepared to rack up a big bill. Okay, back to the mouse... The first thing that came to mind when we saw the mouse and saw the 'meh' reaction of the staff upon reporting it, we thought about how gross it is that our kids are crawling all over the play structure! If the party rooms aren't clean, then how clean could the play areas be?!! Our next thought was: crap! They make their food here, and we ordered pizza! Can you say: health inspection?!! Aside from mice in a kids play facility being downright GROSS, it is also a health violation to have mice in a food establishment. And mice can carry diseases! The Lost Worlds manager was later informed and never once apologized or left us feeling confident that he'd resolve this issue. He even dared to suggest this didn't happen and said he would "check the surveillance footage from that night"! Unless they make some major improvements to their pest control policies AND customer service, I will never step foot in Lost Worlds again. I will also not recommend this facility. read more

Short: 4 star activities and 3 stars for value and service. Long: I'd give it a 3.5 and am rounding up. It's expensive if you want to burn an hour or two here and do all the activities (play structure, golf, laser tag). Quite reasonable if you want to stay 4 or 5 hours but I doubt that is many of you. Laser tag is pretty decent as is the play structure. The black light mini golf is okay but I don't love it. The selection of video games is decent as well but again on the expensive side. Food is terrible and general service is mediocre. Waiting to pay the entrance fee is terrible. The play options is super confusing and there are no real deals to be had. For example, if you want to do 1 rd golf, 1 round of laser tag and play structure, there is no deal for that and you just pay for the unlimited pass. read more

This place has so much potential to be really cool but is badly run which just ruins the whole experience. So unfortunate. The mini golf course is great but my husband had to find the UV light switch because the UV lights weren't on and there was no staff there. Little toddlers just run amok across the course ruining other peoples games. The ninja course is great. Again no supervision so lots of opportunity for kids to get hurt and just general chaos. The rock climbing wall section is also really cool but ruined by disinterested young teenager staff who looks like he hates his job and life, sitting on his phone and not paying attention to the kids or engaging with a positive cheery attitude. The high ropes course seems dangerous. The metal discs that attach the harness rope to the metal track can come loose!!! read more

We had my daughter's 7th birthday here today and I have no complaints. The staff did a great job of making our day memorable. The facility is nice and spread out, so it allows for enough room for parents to be there as well. Other places we have been to in the past are not this way. The package we got included the mini bowling and it was a huge hit. I love that it was located within our party's seating area, and you could hear the joy that the kids experienced. We also loved that there were many options for the kids when it came to play: the jungle gym, ninja ropes course, mini golf and a round of laser tag. A couple of us parents joined in too! This is a great place to have a party and you don't have to worry about a thing as the host takes care of it all. I can't speak highly enough of our host, Maddie, as she was such a pleasure to work with, and I can tell she really has a knack for this job. She was great with the kids, she did a great job of explaining the flow of the day to me, she kept me updated as the day progressed, and she displayed such amazing work ethic. If we ever book another party at Lost Worlds, I would request her in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place. read more

We drove an hour to get there for my sons birthday only to find out that laser tag is closed. It was the only reason we went there. The website says nothing about it being closed. Took my son and grandson 12 and 7 here for a surprise, the play structure was cool for my grandson but no staff around to keep the bigger kids out and to keep the kids from throwing the ball pit balls everywhere. The bigger kid area only has 1 staff working. The ninja/ropes/walls area looked fun but only had one adult sized harness, maybe 4 kids ones. Waited in line for my 12yo to do the wall but needed the adult size harness, had to wail longer finally he said forget it. No one to monitor how long one person is on the wall or ropes course so he waited for 45 minutes before he gave up. Pizza wasn't as good as chuckie cheese or 7-11. Mini golf was cool and laser tag was fun. Went on Thursday for the family special so I guess I'm glad we only paid for the family special price + socks = $80. I do t think we will go back. read more

Lost Worlds is a nice kids indoor activity place. Since Livermore doesn't have very many places to take my little one, I was extremely happy that Lost Worlds existed. I have taken my 5yr old here a few times & he enjoyed golfing, bowling & video games. The games are a bit pricey, but still A lot of fun. We were able to meet the Manager who was super nice & showed us around & made sure that my little guy got the best of his rewards points a/lots of trinkets, toys & sweets. read more

The laser tag is perfect, although we did have to ask multiple times to play. The staff would say "you're next" and we waited and waited. (there were very few people there, so I don't know what took so long). Still fun! The mini golf is terrible. The only thing we liked was the black lights, but those weren't on this time. Also the holes were getting pretty beat up. I wouldn't recommend the golf. The arcade was fun. I won a rainbow gorilla. This was the second year in a row I had my bday party here and I'll probably return next year when I turn 32. read more

I am giving 3 stars because the concept is great, and there's tons of activities to do. However, it seems like the owners and workers have lost faith in this place. The play structure was so filthy! There was dust balls everywhere on the floor, trash from candies, and even used face masks all over the place. There was also parts of the structure that were broken and dangerous. They must have been like this for a while because the tape and signs they used to block those areas off were ripped off and kids were climbing and playing on those parts of the structure. The customer service is mediocre. You have to look around for staff to get help with any concerns, and even the front desk is left empty sometimes. I saw a couple of people come in the door and walk into the building when there was no one in the front desk. Most of the balls on the ball pit are flat, and even in the toddler play structure, there a a soft foam bridge that had a broken piece of wood nailed on top of it. I didn't feel comfortable taking my eyes off of my daughter for even a second because I didn't want her to get hurt. Also, lots of adults walking around without their face mask. read more

The place was very nice the only thing was the service was not too good because most of the workers and employees were young probably still in high school so they didn't really care much about what you did where you were are you basically don't even have to pay you can walk straight in because no one is going to stop you or ask any questions. My kids two boys ages two and three I had a really great time on the play structure which is humongous it was so much fun the only other downside is that some of their games don't work and they do take your money/tokens other than that overall it was a great experience read more

i attended a bday party here this past weekend. Cool place for kids that aren't expecting anything big or fancy. It was a cute indoor playground with laser tag, miniature golf, and a play area with slides. The laser tag seemed to be the most desirable for all the kids that were their. Parents get a nice couch relaxing area in front of the play structures to keep an eye on their kids, and mingle a bit. I expected a lot more of the dinosaur exhibitions, thinking it was going to be a Jurassic park experience with Dino's everywhere. Also, it's REALLY hot in there. They had a few fans blowing but not enough. The one's that were blowing were not circulating, so it was stabilized hot air. I recommend this place for kids under the age of 10. read more

This place is a dump. The play structures are like a war zone. The big kids are ruthless pushing and running into little kids. The carpet and sitting area is dirty. The play structure has tape and not maintained. To the owner. Get it together. It's just a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt and you get sued. read more

The air still isn't working in ball pit. They're totally understaffed. It's a total joke. I was watching my son in the trampoline area and talking with this guy that has worked there for 2 years. He said it hasn't worked since he's been employed there. There's another side still under construction. Being married to a GC myself I understand there is lots of variables when construction is involved, and because of the nature of the business; lots of safety stuff etc. but it's a total rip off for anyone 4 and under.
