Spacious spot

Super clean, cute, and fun play place for my 2 year old son's birthday! Booking the whole place for 3 hrs was easy with the Kidplex team and they and the website provided all of the expectations needed for a successful party. Max was 100 for a comfortable party flow. Basically you bring your own food, drinks, decorations and the team helps you set up and clean up. Kids do playtime for the first 2 hrs and 15 min, then everyone eats and does happy bday song/cake in the last 45 min. Our guests had a blast and the party went so well! 100% recommend on having a party here if you want a fun, hassle-free event.

Can't wait to come back! I absolutely loved Kidplex. It was clean, well ran, and there was so. much to do! I think it's great for kids 2-6 older, kids may not enjoy it as much. Such fun gross, fine motor, STEM, and dramatic play opportunities. Definitely looking into a membership!!!

I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here and let me start by saying, this was the LEAST STRESSFUL and EASY birthday party I have ever planned!! It was AMAZING! It was very easy to book online and we rented just the private party area. I thought it was a tight squeeze to set up because they only allow you to arrive 15 min before your party time, but when I got there, the girls working helped me put all the decorations out and it was breeze! The kids had a ton of fun playing with all the different sections, and we had kids ranging from 2-5. The girls working even helped with cutting the cake and clean up after singing, so I barely lifted a finger. On top of that, the facilities seem very clean and I read that they sanitize everything pretty often. I would definitely recommend throwing parties here and would even consider renting out the whole place in the future. 10/10!!

This place is so cute! Great aesthetics. My husband took the kids here once before when I had to work and we came back again a few months later. Price is reasonable and similar to everywhere else. I think if you have your own sticky socks, they are okay with it. They do sell their own for $3? They even have lockers for you to put your personal items! fancy. The play space is well laid out and really utilized their space. - imagination play - plenty of kitchen, diner, doctor, salon, etc to pretend play. They have a little rack of costumes for kids to wear. -a younger kid soft area that was on the other side, it was very cute and spacious. -a super cool interactive coloring tech desk, that when finished, your image is displayed on their projector wall thing! FANCY -ball pit/slide/ball blaster area. great for older kids. there's the ball launching tube stuff and a really cool contraption that you can fill with balls and then press a button and it all falls out over your head. -there's also little push cars for the younger ones. Overall, super clean, very well maintained. So many things to do. My kids happily played there for the 1.5 hours we booked. My oldest is 6 but he's a "gentle" guy, so this place is still fun I would say for 6/7 year old. Depending on their play style haha. I think the only thing missing is a little bouncy area (need to get that energy out more), but we would definitely come back!

This place is very well lit, clean and managed. We went in the weekday, probably about 8 total kids playing in this space, so my kid enjoyed being able to play with every section. They are not forcing you to buy grip socks, everytime and theirs, unlike many other places so I really appreciated that because you can just wear your own and skip buying new socks. They have lockers for your stuff, clean resrtrooms. Only caveat is that this place is quite small! So if there are lot of kids and their parents, this would get very crowded and chaotic

I'm always excited when a new indoor playground opens nearby, so when I heard about this one, my family and I headed there first thing on Sunday when it opened at 10am. We got there right at opening, but there was already a small line, and the front area was pretty crowded, even with stroller parking outside. They have a tablet where you can sign a waiver, but I highly recommend doing that ahead of time to save time. I didn't get my husband's waiver done, and they had to ask me to step aside while they took care of everyone else in line. I wish there was more verbiage on the website about signing a waiver beforehand, even if its a recommendation. The customer service wasn't as friendly or welcoming as I'd hoped, especially right at opening. I get that things can get rushed later in the day, but it felt a bit off from the start. I ended up waiting in line again with two kids, which wasn't the most fun experience. The playground itself had a good mix of gym-style play stations, pretend play areas, and even a space for private parties. However, I wish the layout was a bit better organized. It got packed quickly and it was a bit overwhelming with so many kids and parents in the same space. There were small cars for kids to ride around, but no real space for them to move, since tables for parents were set up in the middle of everything. It felt like they kept letting more people in without a cap, which made it feel cramped. If there was a limit, it definitely wasn't set at a number that allowed both parents and kids to enjoy the space comfortably. There was definitely a lot for the kids to do, but it wasn't the most comfortable space for parents to hang out. I hope they consider either implementing reserved times with a cap on the number of people or reworking the space to give everyone more room to move around.

My grandson comes to Bishop Ranch with his mom frequently and I went there with them today and my grandson wanted to go upstairs on the elevator and so we discovered the Kidplex located near Music Together and the tutu place. My grandson loved all the play areas, the kitchen, the pizza stall, the ice cream stall, the ball areas, the slides, the grocery store that he just didn't want to leave. So his mom bought a membership as this place is great for indoor play when the weather is cold or hot! Best times to come is probably on a weekday when the shopping center isn't so busy. He had a great time and will be back with a playmate soon! Oh and it looks like there's a section in the front for birthday parties!

This was a fun place to spend an hour or two with a 1.5 year old. Everything seemed really clean and she had fun playing.

Way too crowded and overpriced for the limited play space. Needs to limit amount of people they let in at one time

Good place for a 1year party?

Hi, yes we’ve had many 1 year old parties here and our toddler space is perfect for the little ones. Thanks!

What's the good age to visit Kidplex? Will 7 years old boy feel bored? Thanks!

Depends on the 7 year old, no?

Please don't come for my Millennial self ) The building is tucked behind the entrance of Hong Kong BBQ on Redwood Road, near where Southern Comfort is on Castro Valley Blvd. From the outside, it looks pretty run-down and sketchy. There's also no elevator, so you'll need to carry your little one up a flight of stairs. Keep this in mind if you're planning a party, especially if anyone in your group has ADA concerns. Entrance is $16 per child for a maximum of 2 hours, and honestly, two hours is more than enough. The space itself is small but perfect for little kids. It feels like they're exploring their own tiny town with all the pretend-play stations: an ice cream truck, spaceship, chef's kitchen, grocery store, laundromat, pet store/groomer, and pizza parlor. They do have a small reading area, but there are little to no books. The play area is padded, which is great for crawling children. I wasn't totally sure how often things are sanitized. There's a basket for toys that need extra cleaning, which made me wonder how frequently everything is actually wiped down if we're asked to set items aside ourselves. Party space is limited to the entrance/hardwood area. I was told the max is 20 adults and about 15 children, but I honestly can't imagine everyone fitting comfortably in that small space. Overall, it's a great spot for my kid to run around and get her wiggles out. She really enjoyed it and that's what matters most.

Luckily everyone was wearing socks in our group :) For parents they have massage chairs (for a cost) that I took advantage of while my husband/kiddo played. What a concept! Mom gets a massage while the fam has fun too! Honestly, such a nice touch. We heard on Tuesday/Thursday they do half-off discounts during the day, and another parent mentioned that equals to about $8 or so. We already can't wait to come back, and have made a few fun picture-worthy memories. They have really cool equipment to explore and have a party room which is cool for future moments.
