Sadly this place has gone down hill after multiple owner changes. The last time we went no one informed us that the water room was completely under construction (which is what my oldest boy wanted to play with) The toys are barren and art activities were lacking. Wow! Bumblebee Playspace is the best place to host a birthday party. I am not a great party planner so when I found this place, I felt like I could finally do it. Debbie (the owner) was so helpful. She offered to help with the balloons and backdrops which were a huge help. She also had great suggestions for the party. All I had to do was order food and decorate the eating area. All the kids loved playing with all the toys and everything Bumbler has to offer. I felt comfortable knowing that it was enclosed and safe for them to roam around (unlike a park). What a rare gem it is to have a playspace like Bumblebee on our side of town! Our family had a lovely time during open play and my toddler had a fun time exploring all the rooms in the space -- from the marketplace to the light wall / table to the baskets of Montessori-friendly toys. It's a really nice space with a lot of quality toys. I love the way it's laid out. I won't say it's the cleanest - the staff there doesn't really enforce the rules like washing hands before playing and wearing socks (I saw some kids that were completely barefoot). Most playhouses have a bin where we can place toys that have been put in the mouth so that it can be sanitized. I didn't see anything like that there so made me a little uneasy. Really enjoyed the time here for the first time. It's super clean compared to Kidtopia. They have areas where you put toys in if your child placed it in their mouth. They sanitize frequently. Being a pandemic mom, I've always been wary of bringing my now 18 month old to indoor play spaces with other kids who are unvaccinated. However, after seeing how this place operates, I felt comfortable bringing him here on a Saturday to play. PARKING - ample parking in front of the space, there were no issues finding it or finding parking. ADMISSION - $15 per child aged 1 to 10 and all additional adults are free! So, it was my husband, me and my mother in law and we only had to pay $15. What is also great is that it allows in and out privileges. So, since my son is still on one nap, we came for a few hours once it opened and then left and will be back in the afternoon after his nap. I think this is a great option for those of us that need to take naps. PLAYSPACE - the playspace is pretty large with many different themed rooms and spaces. I like that it's more montessori inspired with wooden toys, no screens and things for imagination and learning. They have a little area for infants and crawlers with soft gym like foams and toys if you have a little one. The front area has wooden toys, a train set, cars, puzzles and a little costume/dress up area and mirror. They also have a craft/art area with aprons, playdough and arts and crafts. The other main area has a huge play kitchen and market with a cash register and play food. There's a wooden jungle gym for those that like to climb. There is a water room that has a large water table/fountain and buckets and toys. I also appreciate that they have waterproof smocks and crocs to keep your kid dry when they are playing. The other fun thing that my son enjoyed was the sensory table with colored rice. I haven't invested in a sensory table or sensory rice/tools and this was perfect to see if he liked it and allow him to play without having to clean up at home. There was even a mother's room for nursing or "time out" and I think I even saw a medela pump, which was very thoughtful. The bathrooms are clean and there's a changing table with diaper pail and diapers/wipes in the women's restroom. There is also wifi available for those that need to do work (or maybe one parent does work while the other watches the child play). SNACK AREA - My son eats lunch at 11:30 and since this place doesn't open until 10, I thought I would bring his food there and eat and then let him play some more before we left for his nap. The snack area is the only area you can have food and drinks (other than water) and there are small little high chairs for smaller kids and then kid sized tables and chairs. No microwave or other tools to help you with your snack, but it worked out fine. We brought our own sandwiches and then fed him his lunch. CLEANLINESS - the place is pretty new so everything feels clean, new or at least in good condition. There are a lot of toys that you may recognize from other places or ones that you've thought to get for your kids. Some aren't brand new but they are still in good condition. They have white baskets for you to put used toys or things that your child touched so they can go around and sanitize them. I really appreciated this since that's something I was nervous about. Overall, for the price and what they offer I definitely will be back with my son so he can play and enjoy the playspace. For an 18 month old there is enough for him to enjoy (although does require some supervision and there are some rooms he couldn't quite figure out like the light room). read more

Maybe you're like me and didn't know "indoor playspaces" existed. As a parent of 2 toddlers, I'm disappointed I didn't know it sooner. Bumblebee Playspace was amazing. We didn't have too much time here when we came, but the different rooms, activities, and toys were enough to keep my toddlers engaged, active, and thoroughly enjoying themselves. It's deceptive because it's not that large of an area. But from playing house to water play to driving toy cars around, it provides an atmosphere of endless entertainment. And any trip out of the house that can engage toddlers for that long is a win in my book. I now know that indoor playspaces exist, and I'll be sure to come back to Bumblee quite soon. read more

I bring my infant and my mom to here almost everyday. I love that I have the space to get some work done, while keeping an eye on my daughter. This place is very clean and it has a variety of toys for kids of all ages. As my daughter grow older, I see that she plays with the same toys differently too. I used to worry not getting enough toys for her at home, but because of the play space, I didn't get new toys for quite a couple of months. I highly recommend Bumblebee play-space! There's tons of parking and the location is behind sprouts. The play-space is spacious and clean! I have a toddler and each time we come here he could play for hours! He loves playing with all the toys. His favorite area is playing house and cooking. He loves the trains, dinosaurs, cars, and more. They even have an infant section, water play and a place to eat snacks. The best part is you don't have to clean up the toys after your child! Very Very Disappointed with the service the staff gives. We had opted for the HONEY COMB DELUXE package which should provide us with napkins,cups and spoons, but none of these were sufficient for the guests we had. The premise was not clean enough for the birthday party. Event decorator Kristal is a big red flag.Her decorations are very basic for which she charges additional money.She is very arrogant and is never available on call. The space is big, with lots of different areas: farmers market, dress up, blocks, play kitchen, light room, music room, reading area, play structure, craft room, snack room, and a WATER play room!! I think it's the perfect play place.. good variety of fun activities, spacious, never too crowded when we go (which is huge for me because I still as much as possible try to avoid crowded indoor spaces). The space is not big and there are not many toys to play. Some toys are in good condition while some are pretty old. The whole space is clean and the toys are age appropriate. But the whole space has very poor ventilation and it's not comfortable to be in for long time. They only open full day on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, while on Monday/Saturday they open very limited hours, and totally closed on Tuesday/Sunday. This is not convenient for working parents at all. The membership fee is very expensive for such a given condition. read more

I have been to multiple parties here in the past and decided to throw my child's 4th bday here back on 02/17. Kayla and Violet were our party hosts. Both were amazing and very patient with the kids! We got 2 hours of play time and 15 minutes to prep for the party. We were allowed to bring in our own food and drinks which was great. The party is private for you and the guests and that alone was worth the price! The kids got to run around with each other and the parents got to mingle. I've been here several time and my child has been here even more with family members. I got the membership due to the proximity of this place to my house. The membership is quite expensive and I had to cancel because I wasn't using it like I thought I would especially because on Mondays they're only open 10-2 and Tuesday close, Friday Saturday and Sunday they have limited hours due to private parties posted on their door ( Sat/Sun have never been available when I check since I've been coming) Sooo that leaves you with a for sure availability of ONLY Wednesday and Thursday as full days and 1 short day . Absolutely not worth a membership The pricing is expensive for a day pass too. Under 1 year old pay $12 and 1-10 years old pay $17. My one year old isn't able to enjoy half of the amenities because he's only just turned 1 feel like they should price up for children old enough to enjoy the entire center. Maybe the $17 can be for children 2+? When most are walking, can teach everything and use all toys? The center and toys aren't bad but not worth the price especially when I've been to other center with more things/ more modern. Very spacious place though read more

5 stars all around! We booked Bumblebee Playspace as a venue for our baby shower. Most of our friends and family have young children (toddler to 9yrs old), so we wanted a space for the kids to be entertained/occupied while adults could enjoy the party, food, games, etc. This place answered all our concerns and was the perfect spot for our shower. Booking: First, I'm so thankful we had the option to book a whole day (10a-5p). You can book a whole day or half day. We chose a whole day so that we didn't feel rushed to setup and clean up. It also allowed us to pick the best window of time to have our party. Having the option to book a whole day saved us from a lot of stress on our end when it came down to planning for the event. I recommend checking out their calendar on the website first to see which days are free. There is a deposit required to book for a private event, but it's very fair. For us, the deposit was $100 for reserving the whole day. Communication: Leading up to the day of our event, we emailed with the owner, Debbie, quite a bit. She was super responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, making it easy for us to prepare for the day. She even allowed us to get a tour of the whole place a couple weeks ahead of our baby shower so we could get a sense of the space we had access to, rules of the place, ideas for decorating, etc. Debbie was very accommodating and kind throughout the whole process. Day of event: On the day of, she (along with a staff member, Thi) also helped us set up by creating a balloon arch, guiding the food truck on where to park (yes! they allow food trucks for private events), set out tables/chairs/canopies (these are extra costs but can be ordered through Debbie), etc. They were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. During the event, there were two staff members, Thi and Kayla, who helped answer questions and were around as resources if we needed anything. They were both kind and great to have around. Since we had the whole place for the whole day, our guests felt very comfortable throughout the whole space. One of our friend's kids even came up to me and said "I'm not bored at all!" haha. There was enough space for food indoors and outdoors, and enough space to play baby shower games. The place also has their own parking lot, so we had no worries about our guests finding parking. A rule to be aware of is that food can only be consumed in a back room or outside. No food in the play areas, which completely make sense since you don't want food mixed with the toys. I respect that they want to keep the play areas clean and fun for everyone. Costs: For having the whole place for the whole day, the cost was very fair and reasonable. Even adding the extra furniture (canopies outside, tables, chairs, heat lamps, etc), the costs were very fair. There were no surprises. Our guests were happy, my husband and I were happy, the kids had fun... it was all so worth it! I highly recommend booking this place for a private event. I definitely will be returning here to play on a regular day once my baby is a toddler as well. read more

My twins and I love this indoor play space! Debbie is super kind and sweet! The indoor space is very clean and the staff are always disinfecting toys and areas. I feel very safe here. I also love that they still require masks since some people that can care less about infecting others may go to indoor places infecting parents and little kids. I don't mind wearing a mask at all and feel that my twins are safer from Covid, the flu, and the cold by having adults wear it. I usually meet other mama friends here and I feel like I can have my little ones wonder and play safely while I have some mama time. All the different play rooms are very interactive and great for the littles! My boys especially love the rice pit and the water room. So I always take an extra pair of clothing, socks, and shoes. The bathroom is very clean and it has a changing table. They have a separate space for eating lunch or snacks. I also love that the majority of the toys are made out of wood and that the play is not timed so you can stay as long as you and your little one(s) wants. I was invited to Bumblebee Playspace almost a year ago for a playdate, and boy was I pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem! It's literally kinda hidden, but it's nice because there's no shared parking lot with any other businesses so parking and getting in and out is super easy. That may not seem like a big deal, but it definitely is when you're wrangling kids in and out of cars and buildings! I can't say enough good things about this place! It's super clean, and the space is much bigger inside than it seems on the outside. There are countless activities for kids of all ages, although some older kids (maybe above 8 or 9?) may find it "boring" if they're not used to free play. My kids, 5 and 10, both really, really enjoy it! There's a separate room for crawlers and beginning walkers, an art room, a water room, a music/light room... just loads of activities for any interest and for kids to explore and discover new ideas/activities. Shoes come off once you're in the building (cuz germs) and there are even Crocs for you to slip on when you go to the restroom! Everything is so well thought out! My younger kid loved it so much that when it came time for his bday, he wanted to go to the "bumblebee place" to celebrate! It was an awesome choice, and I received a TON of positive feedback! Kids of all ages had such a great time! I booked a party with Debbie, and she was great at providing info and communicating on what my needs were for the party. I liked how there was no pressure to sign up for anything I didn't want or need, and she was really willing to work with me so we could have the party exactly the way we wanted (no set packages or anything like that).
