I hosted my son's 5th birthday party at Jumpity Bumpity in April. The kids had an absolute blast, and it's definitely a fun place for them to run around and burn off energy. Unfortunately, the party planning and overall management left a lot to be desired. Before the party, I received an email saying that a coordinator would contact me to finalize the food order, but I never heard from anyone until 2 days of the party even though I sent a follow-up email which I didn't receive a response, which made planning stressful. At the end of the party, fewer children attended than we had originally expected, and our total guest count was still within the overall party limit. Despite that, we were charged extra for additional adults, which was disappointing and didn't feel very customer-friendly. We were also told we had 15 minutes to vacate the play area. While the venue itself is great for open play, I wouldn't recommend it as a birthday party venue based on my experience. The focus seemed to be more on additional charges than on providing a smooth, enjoyable experience for families. What I really like about this place is how much seating is available for parents. During spring break, I wanted to let my kids play while I got some work done, but I still wanted to be able to keep an eye on them. I could move around with them as they played and always find an available seat nearby where they were playing to stay close. They also do a good job with keeping this place clean - I saw staff sanitizing throughout our entire visit. There is an available family bathroom onsite which makes things convenient and they even provide bathroom slippers for you to use. We had booked the Sunday morning 10am private party slot and we had the whole play area to us and then one hour of birthday celebration in the room. The kids had a blast and the parents were also comfortable and chilling with lots of siting and talking area. The complimentary tokens helped a lot and all thr kids loved the arcade and other games. We had a good weekday experience. We drove here from a near by city and think it was worth the drive. My 3 year old was excited when he saw this place its very big and colorful. We liked all the different play areas and felt clean and safe. The staff was nice and helpful as we explained it was our 1st time. There is also tokens to play some games, which is cute but 1 token = $1 so that money can burn fast. There is no food allowed in the play area but you can leave it in the stroller parking area up front. Also you take your shoes off up front before entering the gate. This a specific niche that they cater to, but we fit in that niche so score!! There are so many options to climb and jump and slide and play games from video games to claw games!!! We are now in love with Jumpity Bumpity and will plan our next birthday party here!! During the weekdays, they have a mandatory closure from 12:30 PM to 1 PM however in and outs are permitted. We have been now going for entire winter. They are good sized indoor play area and open till 7 pm on weekdays and 8PM Fri-Sat. That works the best for us. There are two trampolines. Various enclosed and open slides, three ball pits, arcade machines and obstruction course. Make sure you send your kid with their socks on or you need to purchase those every single time. Saturdays they charge $8 per hr for second parent/ adult. Also, all those machines are little spider web. If you do it once you need to do it every time. I wish that space could have been used for actual active play structures. But the biggest plus is they keep it extremely clean. We buy monthly membership. The closet parking lot is one you take from workday light or JC Penny and subway one. Good indoor area during winter months for Tri-valley residents all in all. I will say that this place is geared towards 10 years old and younger. The favorites of the day were the slides, ball pit and car racing. When we got there we signed the waivers, paid for a day pass and bought socks. I can't remember if you have to buy their socks, I believe you do. It was super clean, and I even noticed employees disinfecting things while we were there. The employees overall were kind, helpful and patient, There are also lots of places for parents to sit while the kids play, and the kids were never too far away - since everything is enclosed. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is rude, unprofessional, and extremely disappointing. Since the day they opened, there have been constant issues. The only reason I kept coming back was because my 3-year-old daughter genuinely loved it -- but I've finally reached my limit. They completely ruined my daughter's birthday party. Everything was disorganized from start to finish. The party room wasn't even properly set up and looked messy and neglected. The staff seemed untrained -- mostly young employees who didn't know what they were doing. Despite that experience, we still returned a few times just so my daughter could enjoy herself. But after multiple visits, it started to feel like we were being unfairly targeted. At one point, I was told my 3-year-old daughter was "bullying" other kids. That alone was shocking. I'm always watching my children closely, and not once has any parent approached me with a concern. When I asked for clarification, the situation escalated instead of being handled professionally. I was even told they might cancel my membership over this. When I asked to see video footage of the incident, I was told I needed a police report -- which made absolutely no sense. Overall, this place is overly strict and unreasonably picky for an indoor playground. The space is also tight and cluttered, which makes it even less enjoyable. I've been to many other indoor playgrounds and have never had a single complaint about my children. I'm just very upset that they kept targeting my baby girl, no one has the right to ever do that! If something's wrong why didn't anyone of the employees every come up and talk to me about what my kid did but "wrote it in their notes" idc about your notes be straight up and say something when the incident did happen n I could talk to my kid. My child had to use the bathroom, and the employees had locked it because they had cleaned it. It took them over 15 minutes to come back to unlock it. By then a line had formed. The closest bathroom outside is about a 5 minute walk. They need to figure something out because one bathroom cannot support the number of people that go there. read more

Their socks come in only two sizes--small and large--with no intermediate sizes available. I really wish I could say better things but I had a pretty terrible experience hosting my son's birthday party here. We booked the July 25th morning slot. The email had told us we could arrive at 9:45 to get things set up before the party starts at 10:00. Instead, one of the employees was late, so we didn't end up getting in until 10:15! And we waited for a long time to sign paperwork and many of our guests had already arrived and had to wait for a long time to get in. Second, during the lunch/cake cutting, the employee who was helping did not know /was not willing to use a loud voice to indicate to people to start singing happy birthday. They just awkwardly stood there and told me "I honestly have no clue" when I asked them if they were going to help initiate the birthday song. I really wish Jumpity Bumpity would invest more into having their employees arrive on time and train them on how to help with parties. Daughter was playing in a ball pit, which is normal to have balls flying out of it at any play area anywhere you go. There was another girl throwing balls out of the pit, my daughter wasn't , however with the permitted being low a few balls flew out of it. The owner then comes to my 5 year old and begins to yell at her telling her to come outside and pick up the balls she "threw" which she didn't they just came out. Literally yelling at a child telling her to come out and put the balls back. Why don't you and your employees just take a few moments and clean up afterwards, it's a play place things will need cleaning and picking up that's normal. Which then I noticed her yelling and told her that she is not allowed to yell at my child and only I can discipline my child. Then I told my child to be careful and not let the balls fall out which again she was not throwing they were just coming out and she told me okay. Then the owner went on lecturing me on how to teach my daughter discipline and how to teach her to follow the rules. Very rude and entitled person. She could not apologize for her behavior coming at a child , instead started coming at me. I did not want to cause a scene. She is also much older than me and I did not want to disrespect her. However, she handled this very wrong and disrespected me and attacked my parenting. Kept giving me and my daughter dirty stares until we left. Anyone that tries to leave a bad review for her she tries to make them seem like they are lying and making stuff up. A fantastic experience hosting a private party for our 2 year old. The booking experience could have been a bit better but they're still working out the kinks. The private party experience was the highlight for us. We had the entire place to ourselves for an hour then it opened to the public for the second hour. They helped with set up and clean up and the staff was incredible. Very respectful and everyone in our party continued to comment on how delightful the service was, 10 stars for (day of) service alone. I wish we would have had more time to set up but the mall doors don't open much earlier than 10am so not their fault. They went out of their way in every way possible to make our party fun and stress free, which we really appreciated. Everything was clean and all machines worked (unlike other indoor playgrounds we've been to). They have a changing table and FYI, only one bathroom. They even asked for live feedback at the end, which shows they are continuously trying to improve but we had nothing but positive things to say. Extremely rude and impolite staff -- honestly, it felt like basic manners were completely missing. The way they spoke to us was sharp, and dismissive, and it was even worse when it came to kids. They clearly don't know how to talk to children or to parents who are managing children -- no patience, no kindness, no understanding at all. Instead of being welcoming or even neutral, they made us feel like we were an inconvenience for simply being there with a family. On top of that, they tried to push their socks on us in a really unfair way. At first, they approved the socks we already had (from another similar(read much better) facility. But once we paid for the tickets, they suddenly changed their story and tried to force us to buy their socks instead. This isn't even about the cost -- we've been to plenty of places and we understand sock policies. It's the principle. Don't approve something and then switch up after taking someone's money. That kind of behavior feels dishonest and manipulative, and it shows a complete lack of professionalism. The place itself was also messy and disorganized, and there wasn't much for kids to do compared to other indoor spots. For something that's supposed to be family-friendly, the overall experience was stressful, disappointing, and absolutely not worth it. Save your time, money, and sanity and go elsewhere. There are plenty of better indoor places around the Bay Area with cleaner facilities, more activities for kids, and staff who actually know how to treat families with basic respect. I took my grandchildren, 5 year old and 3 year old there over the weekend and they LOVE IT! The place is clean, bright, safe, easy parking and the employees were friendly. They played for hours at the "Space Traveler". It was physically and mentally stimulating for the kids to follow the skipping, bouncing and jumping balls. The best part was once the "cradle" that holds the balls is full, it opens up and the kids were screaming and laughing over the raining balls.
