This is one of the bigger indoor kids play area we've been to. My son loves it here. They have the most amazing slides and so many areas to play with. My son can easier spend the entire day there. They do have a few broken things every time we visit. The ball blasters hasn't work anytime that we have visit. And the ball area isn't always working (my son's favorite thing to do here). The staff in the front are not very friendly nor are they helpful when you have questions. Overall: I would recommend for those rainy days when your kids just need to run out their energy. read more

Visited on a Monday morning and was very disappointed. The indoor play area was closed for cleaning for nearly 2 hours during operating hours, yet we were still charged and my toddler didn't get to play. To make matters worse, my child got hurt and started bleeding from the mouth, and there was no proper first aid available or assistance offered. The reason for this rating comes down to basic maintenance -- things that should simply work, don't. First, one of the main interactive features is completely out of order. The projector has been broken and nobody has bothered to fix it. Second, there's a light gun video game that takes your money but is essentially unplayable -- the guns aren't calibrated to the screens, which they don't warn you about before you pay. You're just out the money with nothing to show for it. What's frustrating is that the staff are clearly aware of these issues -- they just haven't been fixed. This isn't a bad place at its core, and if management addressed the broken equipment, it would be worth a much better rating. But you only earn good reviews when your stuff is actually working. read more

It upsets me how bad management is here. The Store owner is very rude. They treat the employees like slaves!! I could not stand how poorly the employee was treated especially by another employee.The way she spoke to her and DEMANDED her to go clean. RIDICULOUS, Unacceptable and rude. Overall, decent indoor play area if you need to discharge some of you children's boundless energy. Party prices for the birthday party venue are outrageously expensive, particularly for the quality / size of the party venue area. Also, what's included with the party bookings, absolutely NOT worth it. Locally, several other indoor play places with far more generous party booking options. However, for a simple drop-in / play date / just let the kids go wild & have some fun, it more than suffices. One area I am always concerned with is the apparent safety & cleanliness of these indoor play areas. Jump n play has consistently proven to be generally well cleaned & appears safe, well maintained. Also, shout out to the girls who work there - very kind, very competent & professional. Usually go weekdays in the late afternoon/early evening. The girls who are at the register are always very kind & helpful. Drop in play prices seem reasonable, similar to most other similar venues locally. Definitely 4 stars, only gripe is due to the exorbitant party package pricing. read more

The price went up. It's ridiculous for a single mom to spend $50+ for 2 kids plus the socks. I offered them two pairs of socks from another place, they refused. It's a poor quality socks. It was slippery. The slide is not safe, I slide with my daughter we both went throughout the fishnet out legs went through it. They should put a pad. 2nd this here after 1 year. They remodel but still dirty and not safe for kids. Unsafe place. My child bumped her head 3 times. The socks they made us buy is poorly made with not much gripping. My child slipped on the bottom of the slide and bumped her head on the corner of the slide. They should've put pads around that area. The location is in a large strip mall toward the southern end of Hayward. Took. 3 year old toddler who liked some of the things to ride on. Most items that would move no longer worked. There was a block room but not much to stimulate stacking or building. The ball room with vacuum tubes were more for taller kids. One adult admission with the kid admission. An additional adult paid $5 on the Friday we visited. There were many restaurants and fast food places within walking distance of Jump & Play, so we could eat lunch and return to play again since week day admission allowed a return on the same day. read more

This place is an absolute joke! Owner/Management is just looking to up charge for anything. I brought my kids here and asked how much for they charge and they gave me a day rate & a 10-day pass rate. We clearly told them that we'll pay for the 10-day pass and in response the person working at the desk said they already printed the daily rate for $21/kid and wouldn't change it to the 10-day deal. Mind you, we haven't even entered the play area yet. So I asked for a refund and they told me no refunds. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED AT A KIDS PLAY PLACE. We always bring our kids to Jump N Play because it's close to home, and they absolutely love it here! I really appreciate that they have separate play areas for both younger and older children -- especially since I have a 1-year-old and a 5-year-old. The facility is clean, including the restrooms, which is a top priority for me. I highly recommend this place for families with young kids! read more

While I took my daughters today she was cleaning the kid steps and was letting the "white kids" pass by and me and my daughters are Mexican American she told them to not pass through. Sometimes you just want to bring your kids to play for a bit. Now, weekdays are $16 for all day. Weekends $18 all day Even if you come for 1 hour. Or like us today, we came 2 hours before closing. DONT BOOK HERE! Our experience with booking a party room was less than good. Nothing was set up in the room. We had to set up the tables and chairs. There were not enough plates nor cups given to us (which we paid for) there weren't any utensils nor any napkins for my guests. We had to go back and forth several times asking for more party materials. We had to continuously ask for them to make an announcement for the kids to join for food. We paid over $400 for this experience. Why did we pay so much is we had to set everything up? I texted in advance to come in 30 minutes prior to ensure everything was set up and again, it was not. Upon reaching out to management they said that it was a misunderstanding on my end and that I was at fault. Many guests gave us compliments saying that this was one of the best birthday events they had ever attended and that their kids had lot of fun. You know you have booked the right place when your guests say they will also plan their kid's birthday here. There are many things that that are unique about this place: 1. This place is truly a fun place for kids of all ages. Their games and rides are innovative, much better than competitors like Kidtopia. We had kids of age 3-4 and older kids of age 6-9, and all enjoyed a lot. 2. The staff is exceptionally helpful, caring and professional. Pearl and her team assisted us throughout the event. The entire team was involved in helping setup the decoration, serving pizza, cake cutting, cleanup etc. They ensured the place was clean, and were always very cheerful. They took photos of the event for us and were always willing to help. This truly exceeded my expectations. 3. We were offered a photographer as a part of the party package we had booked (a private event)- who did an incredible job. He not only captured all the key moments perfectly but also voluntarily setup a photo booth where all the guests could take photos. The photographer entertained all requests patiently, until the last guest, all this while with a smile on his face and suggesting some great poses. The guests loved this! While our guests got some amazing pictures with their families, we enjoyed seeing our daughter's pictures with her daycare friends - all beautifully captured. 4. This place offers the option to book the entire hall and also allows outside food - which enhanced the experience. Our guests were pleasantly surprised. Very few places give such options. What a great place for children's birthday parties. My teenager (14) had a blast and even asked me to play hide and seek with him. I haven't heard that in years. This place is wonderful and even brought my little boy back for a few hours. My son didn't even touch his phone the whole time we were there. We ran through the enormous play structure and went down the slide a bunch of times. I was so happy to see my son have so much fun today. We will definitely be back soon. read more

This place needs cleaning. Staff do not dress properly..baggy sweats with holes in them and baggy shirt..no greetings as walked in the door. Rates are a bit high for the amount of play time. This place is run-down, filthy, and poor customer service. We went early morning. The one staff they had was spraying chemicals and quickly wiping the play areas...even closed spaces where some kids were playing in. Unsafe! There is a ton of dust visible everywhere, including their fan. Their bike pedals were missing. There were a ton of blocks that were incompatible with each other. The plastic dividers separating play areas were ripped. There is no ceiling tiles so if there is a leak, it would drip directly on people. When the employee asked us to sign the waiver, I did not want to input my information so I asked for a paper form. He told me to make up information on the tablet instead of providing me a physical waiver. Perhaps it was too much work. Definitely would NEVER come back! read more

Staff here are really unprofessional as well as RACIST! An employee by the name CIsabella was on duty when I came with my children. She was cleaning the playground stairs and was letting "caucasion children" walk up when it came to my Mexican American daughter it was a problem. She did not let her go up and her reason was "bc I don't want to". She did not want to give me her supervisors number nor anything and she hid herself in the staff lounge. Nice play but awful service. They had a private party starting at 530pm, we got there at 510 Pm. Kids all excited and in their socks. The lady at the front desk told us that they would only have about 20 minutes of play time, so I asked for a discount, since instead of 2 hours worth of play they would only have 20 minutes, and I couldn't take them back, cuz the kids were way too excited At that point. The lady gave us a $2 off per kid discount. So the total for 20 minutes of play for two kids was $23! For 20 minutes!! Despite asking for a discount, multiple times, for a 3-year-old, and a 6-year-old!! Bad customer service! read more
