We held a 2nd birthday party at the San Ramon location! One last year and another one yesterday! We can not rave more about the facility and how easy it was to book. The service we received from Jorja the manager was amazing! She was welcoming from the minute we arrived. She helped with decorations, greeting all our guests, and kept the play area clean. We were really lucky to have her! Thanks to all the staff at Spirited Play Labs for providing a wonderful atmosphere for children on spectrum! Thanks to Jorja for being an amazing host we are forever grateful! Love, The Low family

Took some passes during the thanksgiving sale to finally try out this place. It's a cute space for kids to play with some really good quality toys and play structures. I was impressed they had the quadro company structures because very few people know about this brand so I was sure the owner has done their research and they are bringing forth some quality options in the area for indoor play instead of the usual bounce houses and ball pits. The space is a little small for how many activities have been planned and the classes. It gets crowded sometimes and there's no age limit for some toys whichI feel like impacts the tiny babies and toddlers who are around too. For example my 2 yr old wanted to be in that quiet room but being a 2 yr old he just took on space and played with some toys while a girl (probably 7-8yr) walked in and sat there only to close the door for herself the moment by kid walked out to get his toy. Same thing happened at the other play section where these girls were bouncing on the stuff and not careful about tiny kids in the same area too so this could injure them and could end up being a really messy day for toddlers. I hope they think about those things otherwise this place is great to meet other new toddler moms and have these covid babies meet each other

Spirited play labs is such a beautiful safe haven for children. SPL is what the community and families need so desperately. Their space is perfect and their staff is incredible. We were met with super kind people who were responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend this space. It's also nice yo share a space with other parents who "get it". We are so thankful for Lindsay, who is the kindest soul.

Absolutely obsessed. We've started coming since they opened and cannot get enough. Lindsay and her team are fantastic. No where else have we felt so heard and taken care of. They really know what they're doing in order to provide you and your little ones with a safe and fun space. I recommend this place to everyone I meet with little ones. This is the most affordable, clean, educational, and friendly spaces we've ever been to.

My son loved the scarf tunnel!

I can't say enough good things about Spirited Play Labs. My energetic, strong willed toddler is in the pre-K-kindergarten readiness social group. More places like this need to exist! The staff is patient, kind and does an amazing job making Spirited Play Labs an inclusive environment. I highly recommend Spirited Play Labs (for a class or open play!) for parents who aren't quite sure how their child will do in a daycare environment yet want their child to have interaction with other little ones. Note - masks are encouraged and my son did wear one but I took this pic after a snack break :-) they did temp checks as well when we walked in.

This is especially nice for children who are overstimulated with too much going on. They have a mini parent book library, and lots fun games on the walls for children to be engaged. The office staff is also very kind and considerate. They are helpful, but not pushy, which is lovely for a family that is trying to keep up regular visits but occasionally have things come up (like sicknesses). I've experienced nothing but kindness from them. I like how they have text communication, which is a very nice tool to navigate absences and other things that come up. This review though is mostly for Dustin Losli. If this review allowed up to 100 stars, Dustin would receive all of them from me. My child was diagnosed with apraxia of speech and has been receiving care since he was 18 months old. I've been to see many therapists in a variety of settings (East Bay Regional, private, and via school district). By far, Dustin is the best therapist we have ever had. I can't rave enough about him. So much so, that I followed him to Therapy At Play from another facility. We now have doubled the time to get to speech therapy in following him, but HE IS THAT GOOD. Dustin is one of a few speech therapists trained in the PROMPT method. It is very difficult to find a specialist in this speech system in California. It was by luck that we stumbled upon Dustin and learned about this system. PROMPT is "a tactile-kinesthetic approach to speech therapy that uses manual guidance and touch cues to help individuals, particularly children, improve their ability to produce speech sounds." In having a child with apraxia of speech, PROMPT gives invaluable feedback to them in training their mouths to perform the correct movements in producing a sound. No other therapy has come close to assisting my son like PROMPT has. And Dustin understands this therapy style inside and out. He is such a gem and an invaluable asset to Therapy At Play. There is hardly anyone out there doing what Dustin is doing. In addition to his credentials and expertise, Dustin has become a mentor to my son. He started seeing my son when he was around 5 years old. My son had tons of energy and a very short attention span. Dustin has transformed his ability to pay attention, know there are consequences in not following (safety) rules, and help him know how to handle his frustration when it comes up during therapy. He is pretty much the only therapist who was able to successfully get my son to perform multiple speech practices in a session. Something invaluable in trying to assist apraxia. As I've worked with Dustin for a few years now, I've seen what an incredible human being he is. I am so grateful for being matched with him in therapy and feel incredibly lucky every time we have a session with him. I have the feeling we won the lottery every time I see him create a win with my son. It's what every parent hopes to feel. With Dustin's guidance, I've seen my son bloom far more than I could have ever hoped for. I am hopeful for many more sessions with Dustin - my son now looks up to him as a role model in his life, as well as a safe place to fail, and learn. Thank you Therapy At Play and Dustin for changing our family's lives. You are creating real change in the world - and I'm so grateful.

Most importantly, the kids really look forward to going! We visited many other schools, but none of them made us feel like our child's happiness and safety were truly the priority. Many were Montessori programs with rigid classroom settings and rules that we felt were unnecessary for kids at this age. The family-run team at DHCS has always made us feel like partners in raising our daughter. Communication has been great and it's clear they really know each child individually. They've been flexible with schedule changes and even welcomed us back without requiring re-enrollment when we briefly tried a school closer to home after our second child was born. We continue to do the 30-minute drive each way because of how much benefit we've seen this school provide to our daughter. Over the years we've seen our daughter become more confident, social, and excited about learning, which has been wonderful to watch. They teach the kids about different holidays and cultures and always find a reason to celebrate. We also really appreciate how diverse the student body and teachers are, which helps create a welcoming environment where kids are exposed to many different backgrounds. They're not the cheapest school and not the most expensive, but for us it has absolutely been worth it. Every concern or piece of feedback we've provided has always been taken with great care and met with a professional, non-defensive attitude. A huge added bonus is the location -- the police station is right next door, which gives us extra peace of mind as parents. They also have a giant playground with all kinds of outdoor activities for the kids, and they strongly encourage outside play. The only downside is that they don't have a third location in Castro Valley or Hayward. One can dream... hint hint, Miss Angie and Miss Coco :)

That was until I learned about Tree of Life and met the owner Kelley, If you are looking for a place where you feel comfortable and happy every day to send your child to school, this is the school for you. This was my daughter's first experience being away from me and after only one day going School she fell in love with it. My daughter woke up every morning excited to go to school and sad to leave. She would count down the days when school was closed and ask me to wake her up early when the break was over. While my daughter quickly learned how to spell her name and read, in my opinion, what I appreciated the most was the life skills she gained. My daughter was taught kindness, honesty, giving back to the less fortunate and how important it is to respect all cultures and people. The owner Kelley is truly a gift. She has created a family dynamic on campus that is felt in every class. She is present on campus, connected with all parents and students and she staffs her school with the most amazing group of educators that truly love your children as their own. I feel extremely grateful and blessed to have gotten the opportunity to send my daughter to Tree of Life. It has set my daughter up for success for the rest of her life.

They put lots of effort into upkeep, knowing well that toys and books can take a beating with younger kids. East Bay Child Development Center has terrific speech therapists and therapists specialized in helping in all other types of child development, including but not limited to physical therapy, etc. We went through 2 different speech therapists and 1 or 2 therapy students which was a little harder for our son to grow accustomed to because it would take him awhile to warm up (which I've learned isn't unusual for any development therapy center), but each therapist tried their absolute best to ensure they were giving him the utmost care and attention.
