February I had my sons birthday there and my daughter was just walking by so excited to see a specific toy and he overheard, he bought it with his own tickets/money and made sure she got it, leaving us to be able to make all the other kids experiences even better because they got special stuff too. Tonight he did the same thing with my kids and nieces and nephews and I heard he went above and beyond for another customer too. Honestly, not only being super on point as an employee for everything that we needed but then to go above and beyond like that is something we don't see in the service world very often and this guy needs to get some big time recognition. I celebrated my daughter's birthday at this place. I had a group of 10 kids and 5 adults. The kids had a blast, the food was good enough for kids but not for adults who love to eat. The environment is very busy and it keeps the kiddos busy enough. Since I have a teen, her friends really enjoyed the racing cars. I do hope they do disinfect the arcade games because of COVID tho! I had a really disappointing experience at Boomers Livermore during my 8th grade field trip. While driving the go-karts, I accidentally bumped into someone because the brakes barely worked and the kart felt like it was running out of gas/power the whole time. Instead of handling the situation professionally, one employee started cussing at me, which was completely unnecessary and rude. The staff overall seemed extremely strict and unfair too. People were getting banned from the go-karts, mini golf, and other activities over really small things that didn't even make sense to get banned for. It honestly felt like the employees were just looking for reasons to kick people out of activities instead of helping everyone have a good time. The food service was also terrible. We waited around 55 minutes just to get our food. They gave people electronic buzzers to let them know when the food was ready, but half the time the buzzers didn't even work, so people's food would just sit there getting cold without them knowing. The drinks also tasted weird, and the food prices were way too expensive for the quality and service we got. On top of that, my friend paid for milkshakes that were literally still listed on the menu, but after waiting about 48 minutes, he went to the counter and the workers told him they "didn't have milkshakes." They never told us earlier, and they didn't even offer a refund until we kept asking about it. Even the bathrooms weren't well maintained because there was barely any toilet paper available. Most of the workers seemed rude, annoyed, and in a bad mood the entire time, which made the experience even worse. Not a bad experience but more like a Chuck e Cheese experience with outdoors activities. The kart racing is fun but the kart we got should have been in service. It was loud like a lawn mower and slow to start and ultra low on torque - from a standstill couldn't get over a little bump. The food surprisingly was good and the young adult staff were friendly throughout. Unlimited passes are a good purchase but it was tuff to find someone to man the laser tag latter in the day when nobody is interested in playing laser tag anymore. Overall, it's a fantastic place to take little kids. Even older kids as well, I took my little children there and we had an epic day. When you purchase the wristband/card that covers everything - it truly covers EVERYTHING!! We did bumper boats, go kart racing, laser tag & Mimi golf. The cards we purchased even had a nominal amount of arcade credits, so my kids were able to do some arcade gaming as well. One can VERY easily make boomers an all-day or at least several hour adventure. Food was quite expensive, but quality wasn't bad, I looked into their birthday party pricing; in comparison to other kid play venues, the pricing was fair. We're considering Boomers as a venue for the kids birthday parties. We have added this place to our "will definitely come back" list for sure. read more

Bumper cars, laser tag, ticket station, prize station. Only thing consistent and go karts bc there's always a line! These poor workers be working! A lot of physical work. We were told the water cars were closed due to algae! And another worker was like no it's fine! Like what! Algae isn't our friend Mini golf ball machine was not working! It gets so crowded and we were stuck behind a large family! I think it's best to go on a random Monday when there's less people- expect a crowd regardless due to summer. We recently visited Boomers with our almost 4 year who recently crossed 40 inches in height ! We purchased 1 unlimited pass and spent a good 2 hours. To make sense of the unlimited pass you would have to go on at least 3 rides . We did the go karts and bumper boat. Our son did not enjoy getting sprayed :) We also enjoyed the arcade - it was our kids first time and everything was exciting. We are non east bay residents, i think this can be a great way to spend some time if one parent wants to do some shopping in the outlet mall ;) I would not eat here! The food area did not look super appetizing and 1 coke was $6. The parking lot is right there and convenient. read more

1)No staff present upon arrival When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. I waited 15 minutes, making noise to get attention. No staff came until a maintenance worker noticed me and had to find the manager. This is unacceptable for any business expecting a large group. 2)False promises about open operations I was guaranteed by phone (and confirmed again in writing on my invoice) that all operations would be open for our 37 players. The manager even nodded when I pointed this out in person. In reality, half the attractions were closed the entire 3 hours. Staff kept saying they would "open soon," but they never did. Instead, I saw staff standing around and chatting instead of working. This was misleading and dishonest. 3)Excessive food delays Many of our players waited 30 minutes to 1 hour for food orders. This shows a lack of preparation and poor management. 4)Completely unprepared for our group With 37 players and 7 chaperones, Boomers should have been ready. Instead, nothing was prepared. Even with 8 staff on site, operations were handled poorly and our group experience was a failure. Refund refused 5)I requested a refund for 37 tickets due to closed attractions and limited access. This was denied, and instead, I was offered future passes. We will not return to Boomers, and forcing passes instead of a refund feels like being robbed of our money. Overall: This was a highly disappointing experience. Boomers failed to deliver what was promised, failed to prepare for our group, and failed to take responsibility. We booked their gazebo for a birthday party last weekend for a few hours and the kids had a blast! The kids got to play arcade games, mini golf, laser tag, and go carting. We reserved the gazebo outside for a few hours and customer service was top notch. There was plenty of space for 20+. I got to ride the bumper boats and the kids all had fun aiming for the grown ups. The mini golf was fun and the course offers several photo ops. I was primarily at our gazebo with my infant while the bigger kids played games. There were also a few lawn games (large connect4 and jenga) for those who wanted to stay and rest. Environment felt safe enough for our kids to explore safely. They don't turn on the lights for mini golf so it's near impossible in the dark, the guy wasn't at bumper boats and dint come when called, and they turned off the air hockey because "too many people lost the puck so they turned it off so we don't have to deal with it anymore" There's no way I payed 40 bucks for this. We visited Boomers with friends on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. Purchasing the tickets online was super easy and redeeming them in-person was very convenient. It did get pretty crowded by 2/3pm, but that's to be expected in the summers and on weekends. Came for Father's Day (today). I can understand it's very busy. We can be patient people. In fact, Greg was very helpful since there were no options to get a discount for Dad online, or any mention online of in-store only discounts. We did everything, all the staff were really nice and sweet. Food was painfully slow, our Nachos & kid's tenders took 43minutes (I cross referenced our receipt). They also mistakingly gave us beef & chicken instead of just chicken on the nachos. What I find highly disappointing was how expensive a bottle of apple juice was (6.99?!) and that you can't combine game cards. Needless to say, this was all 3 of our first time at Boomers and it will be our last. Management needs to be less greedy and treat their staff better. First time at Boomers visited from out of State, website is very appealing and eye catching. Got the weekday unlimited attraction pass, great value for what you get. All the attractions were open. We enjoyed all the attractions through out the day multiple times. My complaints about our experience is some of the staff were not very friendly, spent time on their phones when they should have been focused on their jobs, short staffed, food over priced and women bathroom was absolutely disgusting never once was cleaned the whole 6 hours I was there. read more

Came here with my son and the rest of the family. we all had such a great time! We originally planned to stay just a few hours, we arrived at 2 and stayed until 8, way longer than expected. The kids absolutely loved the bumper boats, mini golf, and laser tag (they went two rounds!), plus they had a blast with all the arcade games. Visited on a Saturday morning, was one of the first 10 persons there. I was impressed on how clean the arcade area was a week as the restrooms. I could see by the evening how it would be very busy and messier. They had an adult outdoor area to enjoy beverages while watching the go cart track. We did not try the good in this visit but had many options for food and drink. It is how I remember it as a child mini golf, bumber boats (was not running) and go carts with insure having the arcade and lazer tag. We played a few arcade games and walked around the property. So, I really though I posted here during/after COVID when the whole park was updated. I would have been at 4 stars for all the upgrades, attentive service, but the only ding being price. The season passes went away and for that same price you can go for a day now.. There are email offers and deals, but still twice the price if you are an old season pass holder.. Come around now to October 2023, went on a Friday around 4 pm before it "gets busy", and it really wasn't busy at all, though we would whiz through multiple rides etc.. We did one round of mini golf (which went as quickly as it should go) but the go-carts took forever! Not sure what the hold up was.. the racers left, new racers got on, took forever before they got their turn.. then we waited.. got on and took forever getting people buckled in and make announcements. Just didn't seem well coordinated like it used to be. Still a nice long time to ride, but took just as long in between.. Appreciate all the enhancements and updates to the park.. From last year at this time to the same time this year, service is below par.. it wasn't even busy, but garbage cans were overflowing, outdoor patio and other picnic tables covered in debris.. it wouldn't take much to get this place to 5 stars, but doesn't seem like anyone cares anymore... sad read more

We had a really disappointing experience at Boomers Livermore. I brought my two kids for a fun day, and they were both excited to ride as passengers on the go-karts. We waited in line, and I drove one of them first. When I went back to drive my second child -- who had been patiently waiting in line -- the staff accused me of cutting. I tried to explain the situation, but the staff member managing the rides was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to listen. Even worse, they were impatient and unkind to my kids, who were just trying to enjoy themselves. It felt unnecessarily confrontational and left both my children upset. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but there's a way to enforce them without being rude or inflexible -- especially when dealing with families and kids. We were following the rules, and the lack of basic courtesy and communication really ruined the experience. We won't be coming back, and I'd caution other parents to think twice if you're hoping for a smooth and respectful experience here. read more

Came mid week got a $28 online all attractions unlimited and could no be happier. My girls had a great time. The place must be scorching hot in hotter weather but we are April 9th and this probably the first decent sunny day. Got our water bottles refilled at the "bar". Had lunch before we came. It opens at 2 pm. My two 9yo were to short to ride on their own the bumper cars so one had to wait her turn but I totally get it. Staff were engaging , polite and super safety oriented. I didn't get a chance to ask him his name and tell him thank you again for his above and beyond customer service so I got his name from another employee that was there. He could tell we were having issues with the card and he called us over to help without us needing to ask. We asked him another question later and again went above what he needed to do. He never made us feel like we were a bother. Please promote him or give him a raise! Not too many people have even basic customer service skills anymore. read more

Boo to Boomers! We had been long time customers frequenting this location often prior to Covid. We decided to bring our son here for his birthday (small party of 4 kids) what a disappointment. We got there prior to open on a Saturday morning and were first in line at the door waiting to get in. They opened on time however didn't help or direct us to where to redeem our pre purchased tickets for the elite unlimited day passes. I went to the first counter where they told me they couldn't help me there and to go outside. By that time I was now a few people back in line. We waited for over 15 minutes for someone to go to the window outside while we waited in the shaded freezing cold. By the time someone started helping the first person in line, the line was so long it was all the way to the go cart fence! This was so disorganized. The whole day this window only had one person working it so people who already had elite cards in hand had to wait in a line this size any time of the day just to get golf clubs which was extremely time consuming since it also had people who handle paid yet! We only got to golf 2x all day, once on each course! We tried using the laser tag first and was told it wasn't ready and had to wait a 1/2 hr, then after the half hour we asked again and they said another 1/2hr! Seems the night shift didn't charge the devices the night before so this "attraction" didn't start up until over an 1-1/2hr into the opening. Once it opened only 8 vests were working at a time. the line for this was going all the way to the opposite side of the building. We only got to do this 1x the whole day! We proceeded to the bumper boats while we waited for the laser tag to charge up but that was closed. There was a sign that said closed. We asked about it at the counter and they said to ring the bell. We did that a few times and waiting for 10 minutes without being helped so we proceeded to the go carts. We waited two rounds to get on so it wasn't bad however later in the afternoon we tried to go back and when we got in line, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting in line just to get on. They weren't filling up all the cars (ie asking for doubles to fill in that run) and therefore not as many people were going each round. Another reason why it takes so long to get on this ride is because people cut the line as there isn't any worker managing the front of the attraction unless they are letting people in! This was infuriating for people who had been in line waiting patiently over an hour!! We only got to do this 2x the whole day! After lunch the bumper boats still had a closed sign and wasn't running (now 2p), I asked the desk again to send someone because we kept pushing the buttons and no one was coming. They finally sent someone and we got on however out of all the boats they have "floating" there... only 4 were functional! We only got it so thus 1x the whole day! I requested to speak to a manager about all these ongoing issues and he was nice enough to at least give us some arcade credits to try and make it better since he wasn't giving us any $$ back! Let it be known this is the only reason why boomers is getting the two stars they are on this review. I appreciated the manager trying to do something to make it right. The problem was we weren't really able to enjoy these credits for the arcade since over half of them got sucked up by the faulty machines that don't work! The elite passes included a minimal amount of arcade credits for each. Everyone was frustrated by the faulty machines that are broken but don't indicate they are. It's a scam! Since they now use the cards to swipe your arcade coins, they were taking my money but the machine wasn't working so we didn't get to play! We had to get someone to help numerous times and each time they never put a sign on the machine for the next person to know it wasn't working. After a few times between the kids we saw exactly what boomers was doing. Machines were even acted like they were playing but nothing was functioning (balls not moving when they should, no balls come out to throw so you can't play, etc). This was all very frustrating and disappointing for the kids. And a rip off for the parents! With only 4 kids in our party, it was an overall disappointment with how much they were able to do based on the how everything was functioning. 11a to 6p and that's our experience and all we were able to do! I had parents tell me they would never come here again based on this experience and I can't say I blame them, as I sure won't be coming back for a while after that!! One parent even circled the parking lot for 45 minutes waiting for a parking spot to open up! That's nuts! Especially since they had 2 camper/trailers "sleeping" (looks like they never move) in the lot taking up multiple spaces! read more

It's a standard Boomers! We went specifically to minigolf; it was $16.99/person, and there's two different 18-hole courses you can complete. Both courses are quite fun; pro-tip, if you're looking for the Windmill hole, this is on the course that doesn't begin in front of the club/golf ball kiosk. One hole on this same course also appeared to be in the process of renovation, as it had ragged concrete opposed to the green. This wasn't a big issue (we all had fun with the extra challenge) but the lower friction and slants meant the hole was actually quite hard. read more

Saturday afternoon delight for the three kids. Warning: go karting was a two hour wait. The food service area was pretty gross, no one cleaning up, wiping tables down. Everything the walls, tables, the air--- it was all sticky. The food prep people in plain sight didn't have their hair tied back, they were handling money and food. It was pretty gross. The worse part, was watching the workers not care. Example: the rock climbing wall worker strapped the kids and stayed on his phone the entire time they were climbing. I was annoyed this kid wasn't doing his job or keeping the kids safe. The bathrooms were gross. Everything was gross. I'm certain with the amount of uncleanliness, covid could have been present.
