This sign outside the bathroom amused me

I came to Tipsy Putt for a work event. This is located in downtown Sunnyvale, and I found a nearby parking lot with free four-hour parking. They have a really large drinks menu, including about 8-10 different cocktails, beers on tap, and even a couple of shots. I ordered the guava-rita, which was very good (and very strong)! They also had a variety of non-alcoholic drinks! My work group reserved one of the rooms, which is kind of off to the side, though not totally private or anything. We got a couple of plates of nachos that were fine, and some veggies with hummus. I don't really know what the rest of the menu was like. This seems like a fun place where they have a lot of games and activities. There were signs on the walls about trivia nights and other things. I would definitely come back. It was funny that they seemed very busy for a work afternoon, not sure what they are like on the weekends!

Such a fun experience! The mini golf course is pretty straightforward and not overly elaborate/unique, but the venue makes up for it with tons of games and a great drink selection. I ordered the Moscow Mule on tap, and they even let me sample a few other cocktails before deciding. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. There are free board games, an arcade, and plenty of other games to keep you entertained. We also tried the nachos -- the guac was a bit on the salty side, but the queso was fantastic. Overall, it's a lively, fun atmosphere and I'd definitely come back for a date night or a group hangout!

I heard that tipsy put closed down because of a dispute between the company and the property owner. Too bad because it was a pretty fun place to hang with lots of beers places to sit, and games. And the Table golf was very unique. I've never seen it anywhere. The food was not bad either. Oh well.

I'm shocked this one closed down for good due to late rental payments. Luckily, I had a chance to use a discount on mini putt back in January this year. The nachos were delicious, but the lemonade was a bit too sweet. The service was nice and it was fun to play on date night. Unfortunately, my date didn't work out like this business. I hope they have another mini putt under new ownership.

Sad this location has permanently closed. Even the Tipsy Putt website says this location has closed permanently. It was always busy and so fun to go to. I been here a few times and always had fun and I will miss it

Tipsy Putt is a fun, lively spot with a great vibe. Good music, a fun crowd, and the drinks were mixed perfectly. Prices were reasonable, which was a nice surprise. The fish tacos and nachos were made well and hit the spot. It is a great place for a team building gathering or just hanging out with friends to watch sports. Definitely recommend and would absolutely go back.

    1-2 putt and a mocktail

Went here on a Friday night during the game so there were definitely some folks watching on the screens in the bar and seating areas! Perfect place to grab a drink, a bite, and watch sports with your friends. I grabbed a mocktail at the bar and played a round of 1-2 putt-which is their tabletop version of putt putt golf. Loved being able to do a mini phone detox and just focus on something fun after a long week of work. Service at check-in and the bar were both lovely and super easy. I didn't get to try the food during this visit but it looks like it's a separate pick up area within the space. Will have to try next time I'm here!

I had a great time here with my boyfriend. What's better than a full bar and golf? Very nice staff and the golf was fun and unique. They also have skee ball and basketball and we have fun like that as well.

Easy fun with a large beer selection and great setting, that just about sums up Tipsy Putt. Pretty conveniently located across from the garages makes this spot easy to pop into for some fun. We did go pretty early on a weekday so we didn't have to worry about a crowd but we would assume this place must get packed on nights and weekends so be prepared for that. We opted to play table golf instead of minigolf and had a great time doing it. It was pretty cheap and about 10 holes of quick, but strategic fun. We also knocked back a few beers while we played through, and man do they have a beer selection, it's gotta be over 50 beers. By the end of our time there we also played some skeeball and hit the punching bag machine and could see how people could just get lost there for hours without needing to even play mini golf in the first place. This is just a very fun place to go to and I'm sure it's even better with a bit of a crowd to add to that energy.

Tipsy Putt is such a great spot. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, which really makes the experience even better. It's perfect for anything from a corporate happy hour to a kids' birthday or just hanging out with friends and family. There's something for everyone - mini golf, 1-2 putt, arcade games, and board games. They also have awesome new seasonal drinks on tap and a surprisingly wide food and drink selection. On top of that, it's a great value for how much you get to do. Highly recommend!

Overall fun and great spacious venue for corporate or party events. Bars with variety of alcohol selection available. Foods were good, bar/pub foods with wings pizza tacos nachos and more. Service was okay as they provide plates and silverwares and you'll need to pick up your food.

A solid mini golfing experience! I've been to some places with very intricate and creative courses. This place is definitely not that - they have very standard structures. I honestly did not feel like the mini golf part of Tipsy Putt was super worth it - it was very pricey for only a few straightforward holes. However, everything else made up for the lackluster golf course. The front desk employees were friendly and thoroughly explained the different activities at the store. There were a couple arcade options, like basketball, and lots of board games. The ambiance is exactly what I wanted out of a mini golf experience - it was relaxed and casual and got quite busy in the evening. The food was surprisingly really delicious! And the prices were reasonable too. I have never had a chicken tikka quesadilla before, and it was flavorful and rich. There was plenty of sides, like guacamole and salsa. The nachos were heaping, full of delicious toppings. There was also a range of cocktails! I would probably come back for everything except the golf course.

Great place to hangout and drink some beers! We played the course it was very interactive and fun! Highly recommend coming here with a group of people. Everyone inside was super kind and the service was great.

Filament bulbs in industrial light fixtures, cool glassware, bar seating at the front that looks onto the street - it's just a cool vibe. (But like pretty much everything else in Sunnyvale it closes at 9:30 or 10pm.) Came here in a big group and ordered a decent chunk of the whole menu. Interestingly, the winners were all items from the appetizer section: ahi tuna tartare, calamari, mac n cheese, crab cakes. But the entrees were a bit more "standard" - the "Shepards pie" and CTM were just OK. Maybe the CTM would be more enjoyable for a traditionalist but given the Oxford's branding I expected the fusion version with a really rich thick sauce. One of the cocktails was also great (though I forget the name), and they had two classic English beers on tap - Fuller's London Pride and Old Speckled Hen. If you know anything about the beers across the pond these you know you want these. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the apps!

I thought the menu sounded pretty good, albeit a bit pricy but what isn't these days? Unfortunately, we really wanted to like this place but it was not great and we won't be back. We were seated and took a few minutes to look over everything and then ordered two apps and two cocktails. The crab cakes were tasty although we both had hoped they would be crispy on the outside, but were instead very mushy. The fried mac and cheese balls were good, nothing special, I've definitely had better but we still enjoyed them. Her French 77 was good enough to order a second and my Purple Fizz was good, nothing to write home about. We ordered our food about halfway through the apps and it took a really long time. There were only three other tables on a Wednesday night and it still took about 40 minutes for two entrees. I got the fish and chips and was very disappointed. They looked like they'd be crispy but they were quite soggy and the fish was odd, it didn't seem like your typical cod and was bland in flavor. The fries were definitely frozen prior to cooking and tasted like you'd expect frozen fries to taste. My best friend ordered the chicken tikka and, while the sauce was very good, the rest was pretty mid. The chicken was chunked WAY too big which made it hard to eat unless it was sized smaller and the rice was dry and hard. I ordered an NA cocktail and couldn't enjoy it, though the flavor was good, because the glass smelled like dirty moldy wet sponge and was overwhelming the flavors. Overall, for the price of everything ($210 for two people), we were severely disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place. We would've spoken to the waitress but considering how little she checked in with us and how long our food took, we didn't bother. It truly seems like they care about the aesthetic and advertising it as an English Gastropub more than the actual food itself. I'd consider elsewhere if this was on your list. There's better food for less cost nearby.

The chicken tenders were not really strips, but pieces of cut chicken. The breading was light and crispy and the chicken was juicy. These were really good served w bbq sauce and buffalo sauce. As we were leaving, it almost looked like they were closing down for the night. I think we were the last ones out at like 6:30 and I know just realized that is super early for a Saturday night. 1-Star Review I have been coming to Laughing Monk…read more(Previously Faultline brewery ) for years. I'm extremely disappointed with the overall disorganization and lack of professionalism during my recent event here. What should have been a smooth and enjoyable three-hour celebration turned into a stressful experience due to poor communication and unprepared staff. 1 year ago I had the same event, sons baptism and it was the best ever. This time, when I arrived at 2:45 p.m. to decorate and confirmed with Tuyet (the manager) that food should be ready at 4:30 p.m. -- yet this did not happen. When Alec arrived, he openly mentioned he hadn't communicated with the rest of his team, which explained why I had to repeat details already outlined in our contract, such as the beer pitchers. For a venue that hosts events regularly, I expected a clear pass-down process so staff would be aware of expectations before guests arrived. To make matters worse, I had to revisit the food portions and contract DURING the event -- something that should've been handled weeks earlier. Instead of enjoying time with my guests, I was pulled away trying to figure out what and how much to order. Even simple things like uncorking the wine, ordering pitchers of beer (that I had to re-explain to the staff that it was on the contract over a week ago), asking for water to be SERVED, to bring out more wine and champagne glasses, were overlooked until I asked. With two managers on duty, the event should have run far more smoothly. What bothered me most was the lack of accountability and professionalism. Tuyet's eye-rolling and short responses were inappropriate for anyone working an event. The follow‑up email I received from Rayna the event coordinator, only added to my frustration -- it was rude, dismissive, insincere, and contradicted the claim that they were "truly" apologetic. My husband's apology to the staff was even taken out of context; he apologized for the chaos caused by their lack of preparation. Regardless of whether everything went perfectly, we were paying customers -- and the experience we received did not reflect that. Instead of acknowledging the issues, Rayna doubled down on insisting everything was handled according to their "procedures." I won't be returning for events and will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

Overall my opinion of this place is positive and yet I was disappointed that it wasn't better. It's in a great location. There's hotels and condominiums in the area all within walking distance. The atmosphere is great. The staff is awesome! It has so many positive aspects that should make it a regular hangout spot but for some reason it's failing. I'm giving it 5 stars because I feel it deserves better. People should give this place a shot. There is a dart board that is free to play which I think is awesome. A big patio area for large parties. The beer prices are very reasonable. Suggestion to the establishment: They have an AMI juke box, but on both nights the volume was turned down pretty low which kind of made me feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth. Turn it up!!! This place needs to figure out if it wants to be a restaurant that serves beer or be a bar that serves food. Personally I think it needs to realize that it needs to focus on being a bar. There's 15 other restaurants within walking distance from here and that food is 100 times better. This place should focus on getting the customers that leave those restaurants for after meal drinks.
