This food truck caught my eye while I was having my car worked on next door. SO glad we stopped by - it was unexpectedly so good! They ran out of shrimp the day I was there, and I was torn deciding between the chile relleno burrito and a quesadilla. The person taking my order was so kind to modify a quesadilla to include chile relleno, so I really appreciated that. I took the orders home to eat and was amazed the quesadilla was so good - I was even able to get a cheese pull out of it :P I brought home a few tacos for my sister and she thought it they were also delicious! Would love to come back here if I am in the area again~~

3.5 stars overall. The quesabirria tacos are fire, crispy, cheesy, and easily 5 stars. I recommend them. But the burrito was a big letdown, barely any meat inside and no consome included (they charge extra). For $12+, it felt weak. Also, if you order two burritos, they only give you one green sauce and two reds... why not at least match it so each person gets both sauces? So odd, I don't like that one bit. 1.5 stars for their Baria burritos. I would come back for the tacos if i am in the area, but definitely skipping the burritos. Customer service is okay- it's a taco truck. Plenty of parking as it's by the gas station. They do have tents for outdoor seating.

    Fake red nail

Food was good but found a fake nail in our tacos...don't know what it'll take for us to come back now. We used to love coming here but now are horrified

We visited on a Monday night and there was parking next to the taco truck. I ordered the al pastor tacos and they were really good 5/5! I also ordered the birria plate with rice and beans and it was good usually the birria is salty at other places but this taco truck made it good. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was chill.

I love to mix the chorizo with the asada

These are best tacos I've had in Silicon Valley. The flavor of the chorizo, asada, and tripas was really good. The best tacos de tripa I've had, I loved the crispy texture too. The tortillas are handmade and they put a good amount of meat per taco. Pricey but worth it.

Carne asada, birria, Al pastor and carnitas tacos

Delicious tacos, open late, and relatively fast service. I got four tacos on my way home- carnitas, asada, birria an al pastor. On my last visit I remember loving the birria taco and craving more. But this time the birria was a little disappointing- it was drier and less flavorful than I remember-- although this could be my fault for ordering it without cheese this time. The carnitas was moist and very flavorful- my favorite taco of the four. The asada and al pastor were also good, by the carnitas took the prize. Outdoor folding tables and chairs in the parking lot of a gas station. A good clip of business around 10 pm on a Tuesday night and my food tasted fresh and hot!

Tried Sonora Taqueria not too long ago and I swear it's my new favorite spot to get tacos. I don't think I could get tacos any where else now. Personally, I think good tacos not only depends on the meat but the tortillas matter too! Not all places will have handmade and that's fine. It's a bummer when it's barely cooked at other places but the way Sonora's cook their tortillas makes everything so good!! Carne Asada and Lengua - my go to. Al Pastor - this was okay here Tried the torta with carne asada and I'll most likely get this next time. Salsas were a bit watery but the flavors were there. The parking lot is small and shared with another food truck. Tables/chairs are available if you want to eat there. Service is good, never had any issues. Would recommend!

The food is good most of the time but some times they can over cook the carne asada.. also they don't like when you ask for extra salsa but I also do because they fail to fill the tiny cups they give out up! This was never touched.. I like red not green sauce..where's the salsa!!?!

We came here on a Tuesday around 6 pm and a few people were ahead of us. A co-worker recommended this place and said to try their birria tacos. So I only had one goal, BIRRIA TACOS. This taco truck is by a gas station. Parking is very limited and there's a sign that says "Gas parking only, no taco truck parking" so make sure you're parked on the side of the taco truck and, they have outdoor seating with shade for those who want to eat their food fresh which was nice. When we saw the menu board, there was no price. So, we were kinda skeptical already. But, we were already there so why not give it a try? We ordered: 3 Al pastor tacos - 7/10 cooked crispy enough and well seasoned. 3 Lengua tacos - 4/10 pretty dry but, seasoning was there. 3 Quesabirria tacos - 9/10 This was by far the best birria I tried (compared to Con Sabor a Mexico, & Tostadas) BUT, consome was an extra charge?!?!?! That feels illegal LOL. The consome was not as overwhelming as others. It was a well-balanced flavor of the cheesy birria and a decent serving of protein. 1 Horchata - 6/10 not too sweet which was good. The salsa was good, not too spicy. They already put the salsa on the tacos so no side salsa over here. I guess unless you ask? We never did. The radish was whole, it would be nice to cut them for the ones that have a hard time biting onto it and the lime was TOO DRY!! Overall, I'll have to come here for my birria fix but that extra charge consome, I have to think again.

I had the super quesadilla this time, and it was absolutely perfect -- flavorful, cheesy, and packed just right without being too heavy. You can really taste the freshness of their ingredients and the care they put into every detail. The tortilla was beautifully crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the balance of fillings was spot on. Sonora Taqueria continues to set the bar high for authentic, quality Mexican food. Always consistent, always satisfying -- easily one of the best spots in the Bay.

We drove by and saw this Mexican food truck (parked in the corner of a gas station) with a long line of people and we got curious. We pulled into the gas station and ordered the following foods: -3 beef quesabirrias (what they're famous for and super yummy!) -1 shrimp tostada (tasted just ok) -1 carne asada street taco (it wasn't great) Fast service and they are famous for their quesabirrias which consisted of stewed beef in a mini taco quesadilla with lots of cheese! It is very unique and my first time trying quesabirrias. Their other items tasted just ok but their quesabirrias are what you come here for. We will definitely come back for more quesabirrias! *They have a small outdoor seating area with a nice shade so you can eat the food fresh on site.

Really Fast service even during lunch rush & and a lot of tables to dine in beside the truck. It would be nice if they had a price associated with the tacos, but it's 3.25 per taco, and the tortas were 14.25. The tacos were not spicy, so people who are into less spice should be able to enjoy this place. Ample parking at the parking lot !!

Solid tacqueria truck with outside seatings. The price is pretty fair and the food is solid. Service is friendly and quick.

The chinese bhel was okay, but didn't have much flavor. Lastly the ragda pattice had so much potential. The flavor was there, but it was insanely spicy- even as someone with a med/high spice tolerance. You could feel the burn traveling down to your stomach. Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else. Thank me later.
