My new favorite. Used to go to Tacos El Paisa.com up in Oakland but I can't justify driving 1 hr up to my old stomping grounds to get buche tacos when we have fire MX food down south. Thankfully my partner found this place and the rest is history, when you get onions extra you really get a TON of extra onions, too much. Otherwise delicious. I wish they would let you choose what salsas you want though, they give me red when I usually only want green. The buche/tripa is crispy and delicious otherwise. Will be back.

California Burrito

Lopez Taqueria is a small Mexican restaurant that deserves more recognition. Coming from SoCal, my expectations for good Mexican food were low in NorCal, but Lopez Taqueria proved me wrong. Customer service was great, helpful, and fast. The restaurant itself is welcoming and feels homey. Prices are reasonable and I noticed they offered a lot of vegetarian options which is nice for those who don't eat meat. In SoCal, vegetarian options are very limited when it comes to Mexican restaurants so it was nice to see. I ordered the California Burrito with a Mexican Sprite. The burrito itself is big and they offer sauces (red and green). The burrito was so good that I forgot I even had the sauces until I was halfway through. The avocado were actual slices instead of the typical mashed up version, which was nice because it tasted more fresh and had more flavor. The meat was tender, moist, and packed with flavor. The fries were even seasoned and were soft in the inside. What stood out the most were the fries and I truly wish I could've gotten the carne asada fries just to eat the fries themselves. Tortilla was warmed and tasted fresh as well as being light. The tortilla actually held everything together and there were no "leaks". The sauces caught my attention as well because they weren't your typical red and green sauces. These ones tasted homemade and had a different flavor than most. The red tasted more of a Smokey Chipotle which was my favorite and the green was more of a zesty lime almost. Both were not too hot and complimented the burrito very nicely. The Mexican sprite was good too :) Overall, not even lying but this has to be the best burrito I have had so far. They blew my expectations out of the water and my partner had the same reaction. I wish I took photos of the insides of the burrito, but all I could think about was enjoying my meal. I will definitely be coming back.

Cannot believe there are 3 locations of this place. I am a regular at Lopez taqueria, but today decided to try out Lopez taqueria 3. Ordered my usual super burrito with asada, and wow the flavor is so consistent, taste exactly the same and good as the other location! Portion is great as always, and goes well with the 2 sauces they give: Green and red sauce. However, this place I feel took a little longer with my order. My go-to place for a quick and decently priced burrito. Their plates are also really good!

A very bad taste and an end to my Lopez burrito experience

I was thoroughly enjoying the burrito until I bit into a pebble halfway through. That's a red flag Although my previous experience with this chain of taqueria has been good, this is the end of my loyalty to this location.

No shrimp in my burrito. Paid extra. But a good burrito

Burrito is really good but unfortunately we did not get our shrimp in our burrito we paid extra for. This is the 2nd time. Asked for extra sides and we got none. Ugh this is annoying. How do we check our burritos? This is lame.

Al Pastor Super Burritos, no sour cream

I was in between activities and needed a place to get a To-Go order fairly quickly. I recalled this joint being near Sunnyvale's tennis/pickleball facility. This location is pretty narrow in size and sparse. Customers will find table/chairs, a refrigerator of drinks, and a small ordering counter. The "magic" must happen behind the wall, past the counter. Anyways, ordering was very easy and my order came out in less than 5 minutes. More importantly, it was a generously sized burrito that was good tasting. 2 types of salsas and 2 limes were provided. I wished, though, that they had included complementary chips. Perhaps I should have asked for them.

Solid with great portions. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Friendly and efficient service! Ordering is quick and your food comes out in just a few minutes -- the staff also does. Great job of handling the constant flow of dine-in and take-out/delivery pick up orders. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Clean, everything is always well-stocked, and there's a hand wash station in the back. **Price & portion, 5/5** A lot of the portions here are HUGE -- burritos are legitimately as thick as your forearm and the super tacos are heeeefty. **Taste, 4/5** My fave thing so far has been the regular taco! The corn tortillas are fantastic -- great flavor, crunch, and toastiness. The lengua and chile Verde are both great; generous, tender portions. The super taco is huge but felt pretty unbalanced. The tortillas with cheese and no onion ended up being super heavy and the tortillas themselves were reeeeally tough for some reason. Fish taco is also a very generous size and similar to the super taco, but I was hoping for a crispy breading. The breading was really thin and the entire inside got soggy. Super well seasoned though with piping hot, flakey fish inside, so go for it if you don't mind the lack of crunch! Overall, happy that I've found an easy go to for regular tacos and excited to try more things from their menu!

Carne asada nachos
April V.

Absolutely delicious! I had a chicken super burrito (chicken, beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, pico and avocado). My better half had carne asada nachos. We both enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly, the food arrived quickly and the restaurant was very clean inside. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Chili verde

Ordered the chili verde plate to go and it was all very delicious! I picked the flour tortillas to pair with it. The rice and beans were great too! Definitely want to go back and try more of their menu

I was looking for a burrito for dinner and for some odd reason the trucks that I go to are closed. So looking up Yelp I found Lopez which happen to be close to where I was at the time. The reviews indicate a good place to get a burrito. The restaurant was very small and not busy at all. Most of the patrons have made to go orders. Anyway looking at the burrito menu I noticed that the super burrito was in just under $12. That is a great price. So I ordered on with carne asada and no beans. My order took about 8 minutes to show up and service was very prompt and professional. The burrito did not come with any nachos and I was slightly disappointed. Perhaps they might consider that option in the near future. Included was two small containers of a red and green salsa which tasted pretty good and spicy. The burrito seemed about the size of a regular burrito at other restaurants but it was stuffed very nicely. The ratio of meat to other ingredients was substantially high. In fact the first 60% of the burrito was mostly meat with just a little of the other ingredients. With a super burrito the sour cream and guacamole tend to make the whole thing a little mushy. But this burrito was not as mushy as I expected it to be In the end I rate this place 4.5 stars for the food and service. I will come back again next time I get a hankering.

It's just Indian food disguised as mexican food. If you want mexican food, this is not the place to go. It was horrible.

Honestly, everything was a bit average and lacking flavor. The churro waffles were by far the favorite and the best deal, price to taste-wise. Definitely get it if you're gonna try anything here. Otherwise, Bloom was slightly lackluster for me. Nothing terrible, but I prefer Sweet Maple as a brunch spot.

Filament bulbs in industrial light fixtures, cool glassware, bar seating at the front that looks onto the street - it's just a cool vibe. (But like pretty much everything else in Sunnyvale it closes at 9:30 or 10pm.) Came here in a big group and ordered a decent chunk of the whole menu. Interestingly, the winners were all items from the appetizer section: ahi tuna tartare, calamari, mac n cheese, crab cakes. But the entrees were a bit more "standard" - the "Shepards pie" and CTM were just OK. Maybe the CTM would be more enjoyable for a traditionalist but given the Oxford's branding I expected the fusion version with a really rich thick sauce. One of the cocktails was also great (though I forget the name), and they had two classic English beers on tap - Fuller's London Pride and Old Speckled Hen. If you know anything about the beers across the pond these you know you want these. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the apps!

I thought the menu sounded pretty good, albeit a bit pricy but what isn't these days? Unfortunately, we really wanted to like this place but it was not great and we won't be back. We were seated and took a few minutes to look over everything and then ordered two apps and two cocktails. The crab cakes were tasty although we both had hoped they would be crispy on the outside, but were instead very mushy. The fried mac and cheese balls were good, nothing special, I've definitely had better but we still enjoyed them. Her French 77 was good enough to order a second and my Purple Fizz was good, nothing to write home about. We ordered our food about halfway through the apps and it took a really long time. There were only three other tables on a Wednesday night and it still took about 40 minutes for two entrees. I got the fish and chips and was very disappointed. They looked like they'd be crispy but they were quite soggy and the fish was odd, it didn't seem like your typical cod and was bland in flavor. The fries were definitely frozen prior to cooking and tasted like you'd expect frozen fries to taste. My best friend ordered the chicken tikka and, while the sauce was very good, the rest was pretty mid. The chicken was chunked WAY too big which made it hard to eat unless it was sized smaller and the rice was dry and hard. I ordered an NA cocktail and couldn't enjoy it, though the flavor was good, because the glass smelled like dirty moldy wet sponge and was overwhelming the flavors. Overall, for the price of everything ($210 for two people), we were severely disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place. We would've spoken to the waitress but considering how little she checked in with us and how long our food took, we didn't bother. It truly seems like they care about the aesthetic and advertising it as an English Gastropub more than the actual food itself. I'd consider elsewhere if this was on your list. There's better food for less cost nearby.
