One of the tastiest birrias I have tasted with no complaints. Now La Azteca Taqueria is in a parking lot next to wells fargo in el camino. At the moment they take cash only but they are working on being able to get other forms or payment at the moment. They have to types of birrias you may order. Its $12 for either way, 1) 3 small birria tacos or 2) 1 large birria taco (like the size of a quesadilla) . They also provide consomme with it with no charge! I didnt even ask for one but i got one provided in my order :) !! Very friendly customer service & they dont rush you! Their tacos were also so tasty I wish i ordered more at the time! Besides these they also sell some snacks and drinks which is worth the try! DEFINITELY come and try this tasty taco truck if your in the area.!! :)

Bad food!!

I ordered 2 tacos de tripa and 2 Carne Azada one. The tripas was soggy and the carne azada was steamed not grilled. the owner came out to yell at me for recording. A big disrespect to the Mexican food culture! I am sad for the people who try the food here!

Exceptional tacos! Served from a taco truck parked at a gas station, I had passed by this place…read morenumerous times. I was on the hunt for some bomb al pastor tacos, and I think I found them. The tacos came out piping hot. I got mine to go, and 30 minutes later they were still warm. The al pastor was incredibly flavorful, with bits of pineapple throughout. I would have liked a little more pineapple, but the pieces that were there added a nice pop of sweetness. The carne asada had a nice crisp to it. Both tacos were loaded with fresh onion and cilantro, and they definitely didn't skimp on the meat. I usually remove the second tortilla to save a few calories, but these were good enough that I ate them as they came. There was so much filling that I ended up needing a fork to finish the leftovers. Our order also came with radishes, grilled onions, peppers, and lime, along with both green and red sauces. The green sauce was especially good and paired well with both tacos. At $5 each, I initially thought the tacos were a little expensive, but the quality, portion size, and flavor made them worth it. They also have a few tables and chairs if you want to sit and enjoy your food. I would definitely come back, especially for the al pastor.

The place is small, but it seems like a place where people pick up to go more than stay and eat kind of place which is also a good indicator of good food. I decided to go with my safest bet of whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant a super quesadilla with carne asada. Then I don't know why but I also had the urge to have a fish taco, the best fish tacos I ever had were in Ensenada many many years ago. I like the place, the fish taco was surprising really big. I did not have expect their tacos to be that big. They stuff their taco with guac, pico de gallo, lettuce fried fish and melted queso. It was good I really enjoyed it with the squeeze of lemon and their green and red house made salsas or was quite delicious. You can't really mess up quesadilla it was also very good with its fillings inside the quesadilla, squeeze some lemon on that and combine both the green and red salsa you won't regret it.

I've never been a fan of all the add ones so I usually don't get the super taco. The carnitas taco is crispy pieces on the outside & soft tender on the inside go perfectly with the soft corn tortilla. On this visit I also tried the al pastor taco regular. A bit of tang with the crispy edges, would probably be my second go too moving forward. That's if I dont fall in love with the buche (pork stomach) or tripas (cow intestines) first, which will be my next order. ;) Stay tuned.... And ABSOLUTELY YES, use the spicy rojo salsa and do that squeeze of lime! Perfect and compliments these tacos immensely.

My friend ordered the shrimp quesadillas with Monterrey Jack cheese, I ordered the chips and guacamole and the chicken enchiladas. I ordered it mild, but next time, I will order medium spicy. The good was quite tasty and the beans and rice were delicious with the enchiladas. The staff bedding the counter were nice, Rinaldo was friendly and helpful taking our order and then later, served us the food. The restaurant has a television, the FIFA World Cup games are going on right now. The restaurant is cozy and you can bring your family here to eat. The prices are fair, and the food fills the plate. It's nice to come here for the food and to enjoy the company of your friends here.

So definitely no complaints. The venue itself is great, surprisingly kids friendly (lots of games and things to do), food (primarily Mexican) is excellent, beer and alcohol selection superb, probably a really good place to watch San Jose Sharks games and the Caddy Shack photos in the bathroom was a nice touch. Also, I have to add that ahead of the Super Bowl I called and visited a couple of times, and the staff was very helpful. So overall, very happy with the experience and would highly recommend. Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Sounds like this Tipsy Putt was run by some rotten people. Too bad -- the Sunnyvale staff all seemed pretty cool, and I have fond memories of this place.
