We should have checked on Yelp also. We were expecting this whole area would be tables like a restaurant. That's how their website shows it. In actuality, there are only 3 indoor tables and all the rest is a pro golf store. It's like you're eating food in the shoe department of a department store. That said, if you know your expectations going in, the place was ok. Think of it as a food shack, a place with good outdoor seating, and ok food. It's not a restaurant though. The outdoor seating looked nice, but not on a sunny hot day. There are 4 tall bar tables on the shady side of the building, but it was still too hot for us. The indoor music was pleasantly kept at a low level. The "salad" with the battered chicken was only shredded lettuce, not an actual side salad. They did provide extra sauce for the onion rings. You go outside to collect your food from a serving window, when they tell your name. ( AC, shade, hamburger, cheese sandwich, onion rings, sauce, store, not as expected. )

A good place for lunch with a view. We had our first lunch experience here and must admit their burgers are great. We had the Big Daddy from Cincinnati and the Nachos (against my own judgement not to order it) and fries. The burger is made with fresh ground beef patties and the fries tasted like freshly cut potato fries. They were both perfectly made. The nachos do not use fresh cheese and use the nacho cheese spread which I don't care for. I knew it but ordered per my son's request. The service is great and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Love sitting there and just having a peaceful lunch away from noise and cars passing by...

The new Tap House has 8 brews on tap and a totally new look with 3 flat screen TVs to watch news, sports, and more. Best egg sandwich in town.

Nice outdoor patio with a pool table, shuffleboard, and high- and low-top tables

What a cool spot. We've been golfing here regularly this summer, and we were looking forward to trying out the Tap House. Attached to the club house and overlooking the 9th and 18th holes, it's a great place to enjoy a cold brew after 9 holes on a weekday evening, or after a longer round of 18. The previous reviewers' mentions of plenty of beers on-tap were spot on. So why not 4-5 stars like the rest of the reviews? Several things to improve on. 1. We ordered beers, but the super-nice server/cashier couldn't pour them. Then the gentlemen in line behind us ordered beers. We all sat around twiddling our thumbs until the cook caught a break and poured (out of order), about 10 minutes later. One of the other guys almost took one of our beers, because the cook had no idea who ordered what. The 3 stars is basically for this alone...who waits 10 minutes to get a beer at tap house? 2. Happy hour looks to be 3-6pm, but why does Yelp say the place closes at 5:30pm? Missed opportunity for customers. 3. Fruit and veggies were put out on a platter across from the bar at 5:45 (after yelp closing time?), but there was no sign or indication from staff that they were complimentary...were they? Don't know. The pineapple was great. 4. Unrelated to the bar - but indicative of the disorganization - the back nine was completely jammed, with groups going 1, then 4, then 2, then 1, then 4...no one managing the start to keep it moving smoothly. We gave up after one hole and went to the bar. Next time. Looking forward to coming back soon... Just a couple of small but important details that could really make this place a stand-out.

Great food great service! Not your typical golf lunch:). Recommend the California BLT and the Big Daddy from Cincinnati. Wolf Pup IPA and plenty more good beers on tap.

Hi Allie, yes it is dog friendly! Please bring your furry friend along with you.

Do I have to be a member to have breakfast there?

I do not think they have breakfast. They just had 2 kinds of hamburgers, onion rings, a cheese sandwich, battered chicken, and fish and chips when we were there today. And they had run out of fish and chips.

We ordered the Morning Thai Cioppino and the Pimped Up Ramyun, and both were excellent. The Morning Thai Cioppino had a bold, authentic tom yum flavor with just the right balance of spice and tanginess. The Pimped Up Ramyun was a pleasant surprise. It definitely gave me instant ramen vibes, but in the best way possible. It was comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with much better ingredients than your average cup of ramen. I noticed a lot of retired folks eat here, but I see families as well sometimes. I'm pushing 50 and have two young kids, I work in the morning most days but every now and then I have a day off where I can have breakfast with my wife and this is always our go to spot. I'll be frank. There are a lot of breakfast spots that seem to be frequented by retired folks and most of them to be honest or not that good but are reasonably priced. This place is not that. The food is not cheap, but it is excellent and you get a lot. Cannot recommend this place enough and I hope it never ever goes away. For specifics, they have the most amazing oatmeal which I always get with skillet potatoes which are delicious. Everything here is just really good, even the coffee, and tea, and lattes.

For the amount of people working they could probably have servers take your order. Still not a problem as this is much quicker than having to wait. This place has a large seating area inside and a decent size outdoor patio. Everything is self serve, get your own water, napkins, condiments. The only thing missing was silverware. I had to ask the counter where the silverware was. She stated that when they bring out the food, they will bring out the utensils. Kinda confusing since everything else was already out at stations. We got the French toast combo and the blueberry pancakes that were on special. The French toast had a great flavor. Orange zest, cinnamon, mixed with butter. Bacon was crispy but not burnt. The pancakes tasted fine,it said it came with bananas and blueberries. I could see the blueberries, but not the bananas. Thought I could taste banana. Not sure how they cook the pancakes, but they stayed hot and took a while to cool down. Normally most pancakes come out luke warm at best. Food was good but the vibe was off.

Upon arrival, I walked into the lobby for check in and was met with an aggressive man shouting at hotel staff about needing a ride. The staff member ignored most of his requests making matters worse and making me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. My room was located on the second floor overlooking the parking lot. The floor had dirt on it and a dead bug. I was concerned about bed bugs and chose to limit my contact with the bed, other than to sleep. The sheets appeared clean, but little things were missed: dust, dirt, fingerprints, watermarks. For the cost of the room and the reviews, I expected much more. I did not use the pool, nor the hot tub. No gym on premises. The continental breakfast was tasty, but no one was checking to see if anything needed refilling. By the time I came down for breakfast, there was only about 1/2 scoop of scrambled eggs. At least 5 guests arrived after me and did not have any eggs. Someone complained to the person working the lobby and food was finally replenished and tables were finally cleaned. I felt this needed more supervision. The elevator has not been inspected in years per the signage posted. A temporary permit was granted through August 2025, but had lapsed by my May 2026 visit. The hotel is closely located near a grocery store, several restaurants within driving distance, and a highway. Overall, this hotel isn't worth the money they are charging. I was tempted twice to try it, but both times it was described less than desired... they do use fresh Prime Rib, not cold cut sliced roast beef deli meet as many places use... but they were honest in saying it was the fully cooked medium well to well done slices, which is discouraging to try, but maybe I need to see someone order it to judge the appearance more than the description. I prefer the type of Prime Rib Sandwich that is medium rare, moist, tender and juicy, similar to what "Hillstone" (formerly "Houstons") serves where it's red, pink and more raw but thinly sliced so it's not chewy.
