    Smoked Salmon Benedict
    Vincent P.

We came here for lunch after our hike and it was a decent choice. We sat at the outdoor patio since we had our pups with us. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, it came with avocados, eggs, and hollandaise sauce. The overall flavor was good and I'm glad I ordered it. The hash browns and fresh fruit were alright sides. Overall, this was a decent spot we picked, although not somewhere I would drive out of my way to visit.

I tried the fried chicken steak. The texture was interesting -- it was crispy, but for me it tasted a bit too much like flour. It was also on the salty side for my preference. The rest of the dish was okay, and the portion was decent. Service was good, which I appreciated. Overall, it wasn't my favorite because of the seasoning, but the experience was still pleasant.

Came here on a Saturday morning after Pilates with 2 friends. We were sat immediately and were able to pick a table. The place feels like an old diner kinda experience but still cute for brunch. We got waters to start and the waiters were quick to take our orders. I ordered a carnitas Benedict and we got a red velvet pancake to share for the table. Our food came out one at a time so it took a little bit of time. My friend ordered a breakfast burrito without cheese and when she got it and it had cheese in it so the had to remake it. Either way the food was SO good. I ate my whole meal and a lot of the pancake that was meant to be shared the waiters were pretty friendly and it ended up being a nice pretty budget friendly restaurant. Will be back!

Cute location in Downtown Saratoga walking distance from any street parking. We sat outside and had a view of the street. The food was well portioned for the price. All three of us cleared our plates because it was so scrumptious. The prices were a little higher than I expected for a breakfast place but it was good. It averaged to $30 a person with everyone getting coffee. The bread was the perfect amount of crispy and the salad was fresh. I'd eat here again. Good service: got checked on about 3 times. Very nice time. Their cups are mason jars which was nice and rustic.

Really great option for a local brunch! Went there on Sunday around noon, and we got seated immediately. Outdoor sitting area is very pleasant. We ordered two omelettes and a sandwich, and the food was delicious. The meals were sizable- portions were good for the price. Great location- right in downtown Saratoga! We loved eating here and then walking around downtown.

Great food, great service! Food was delicious. Service even better. At least four people helped serve us. They worked well together and never left us wanting. Outdoors area was nice and comfortable. A great place for breakfast!

Bell Tower is an adorable cafe with extensive outdoor seating, an open kitchen inside, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I got the strawberry crepes and my friend got the deep-fried breakfast burrito. The crepe itself had an excellent texture but was a tad bland. However the presentation with the orchid flower was a feast for my eyes. Overall, I highly recommend it for breakfast/brunch in Saratoga.

We had a lovely breakfast here at Bell Tower Care. We ordered eggs Benedict, strawberries crepe, and cappuccino. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. It is a huge cafe!l with outdoor seatings. They have wisteria trellis on the side by the fence which I think would be lovely when it's blooming. We didn't get to see it since we are early in the season. Late May or June would be a great time for an outdoor brunch here.

We came here a couple times and lately the service has been getting a bit slow. It took a while for a server to get our order and waiting a much longer time to receive our food as well. Our server barely made eye contact with us whenever we spoke to him too. The food however is still pretty good! Just wished that the service was as good as it was the first time time we went.

Cute cafe with outdoor/ patio seating. We came during Saturday noon time and the place was bustling. Staff were a bit disorganized with seating and we had to wait quite a while. It was a warm day and the heater may have been on in the outdoor seating area making the place feel like a sauna. Chicken and waffle - average chicken and waffle, slightly expensive considering the quality of the dish

Came here after I picked up my sister from School. Place was pretty empty since it was a Thursday afternoon. We were greeted and they told us to choose our sit. Which was nice to choose your own seat since it was empty. Got the menus and couldn't decide what to get. what we order and rating: -Cappuccino 4/5 -Fresh OJ 3/5 -Build my own Omelet 4/5 -Carnitas Bendict 4/5 Overall, service was fast and food was good. The only con would be that they dont have their own parking.

From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of Duckhorn cab, and I appreciated that their wine list felt reasonably priced for the quality. We corked what we didn't finished and took it home. The only slight downside was our table being in a bit of a funky spot along a walkway, but service was attentive enough that it never really became a problem. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.

We started with the beef carpaccio and it was tender and delicious. We also had the shrimp cigars and two old fashioned. For main course I had the miso cod and it was tender and very flavorful- the miso saturated the entire fish. Going forward I would have ordered a vegetable to pair with it. My husband ordered the duck and that was a bit disappointing. They hadn't rendered the fat properly so the skin was chewy rather than crisp. The duck was slightly on the tough side. On a very positive note, the wines are market price rather than the large markup you see in most restaurants. The chocolate cake was overly dense. Since it was a birthday celebration they also brought out little chocolate cream filled cups that were delicious. We will definitely return.

Not overly sweet, perfectly balanced, and the texture was incredible. If you're on the fence about dessert, just order it, you won't regret it. Our server was Therese who took excellent care of us. She was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Also, the manager came around to check up on us, to make sure we didn't have last calls right before the kitchen closed. That was considerate. We decided on ordering the... Grilled Pork Chop: bourbon marinated grilled peach compote, peach, red onion & tomato salad (4/5). The presentation was gorgeous. A Sous vide pork chop with grill marks cooked to a medium temperature. Savory and complemented with the tangy, spicy, and tart salad. A tad heavy handed on the salt for the sauce, otherwise, it was still delicious. Gnocchi Ragu: lamb bolognese, pecorino (4/5). The meat sauce was delicious. The gnocchi itself was sizeable and decent. Fries (4/5) - medium shoe string cut fries that were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. So fresh and right out of the deep fryer. Parkside Bread Pudding: vanilla gelato, pecan praline (4/5). This was delicious. Therese was told by the kitchen staff that they unfortunately ran out of the pecan praline when she brought it out. Though, it was still decadent and divine. Therese even brought us a complimentary beignets for a birthday celebration. We will be back! Ordered: 1) Garlic Bread: 5/5 - Tasted super fresh and garlicky without too much cheese, exactly the way I like it. 2) Walnut Pesto Linguine: 2/5 - It sounded super interesting, so I ordered it. First of all, the dish didn't look appealing at all. I get that it's called walnut pesto, but there were way too many walnuts. As for the pasta itself, it tasted very bland, not flavorful at all. My friend and I ordered the same dish and we both felt the same way, couldn't get past 2 spoonfuls. 3) Pasta Primavera (white wine cream sauced swapped for pink sauced - red and white combined): 5/5 - ordered this for my 5 year old, and omg it was amazing and full of flavor. 4) Burrata Pizza: 5/5 - A very interesting combination of toppings. Not soggy or dry - it was good. 8) Brownie Sundae: 3/5 - I had a lot of expectations for this one, but it turned out to be meh, the brownie chunks should have been warm; instead they were pretty hard in texture. They should have warmed it before serving it with the gelato. The taste was good though. Definitely coming back, but I would stick to ordering pizza or the pasta primavera next time. The pizza, bread, etc. were super fresh, and you could feel that in every bite. The ambiance is awesome, you could come here for special occasions with friends and family. Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed with what I ordered this time around, but I'd like to come back and try some of their other dishes before forming a final opinion. The Vienna hot dog was $12, but it didn't feel worth the price. The chili and cheese they used made it taste more like something someone could make at home rather than something I'd expect from a restaurant at this price point. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was decent, but the flavor and texture reminded me almost exactly of Taiwanese popcorn chicken with the basil and with green onions instead. Overall, maybe I may have just ordered the wrong things, so I'll give it another try and explore more of their menu next time.

I was looking for a restaurant to have a nice birthday dinner for my husband. ASA Los Gatos was…read morebookmarked for a long time... so long that I had forgotten it was even on my list. I was able to make a last minute reservation without having to commit to a deposit, which was a breath of fresh air these days. After our great experience I regret not trying the restaurant sooner, but hey, better late than never. I made reservations for 5pm on a Friday. There was ample parking at the private lot since it was still early. ASA had a pretty interior with a relaxed upscale atmosphere. Overall customer experience was exemplary. Employees were very friendly and courteous, and the wait staff was especially attentive. Also appreciated that our food came out in a timely manner. We shared the king trumpet mushroom appetizer, arrabiata pasta, and the Argentine steak, which was the perfect amount of food. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The appetizer surprised me the most with its uniqueness. The mushroom stems were cut paper thin and had the slightest essence of smokiness. Loved the chickpea puree. The Argentine steak was perfectly medium rare, and the meat itself was so tender. The fries were excellent. The fries were made the way I love them - light, airy, and crispy. Addictive and hard to resist. Lastly, the arrabiata pasta was solid. I did think the pasta was cooked 30 seconds too long, but the sauce really made up for the dish. The arbol chili and fresh garlic packed on some heat. We look forward to coming back for the steak and to try the mushroom rigatoni that everyone raves about!

Came to ASA on a Sunday evening. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so I was expecting a pretty…read moresmooth dinner, but the experience ended up being a little uneven. We ordered the beet salad, mushroom rigatoni, Paella Valencia appetizer, and hand-cut New York steak. The Paella Valencia was the clear standout. It was the most cohesive and well-executed dish we had, with good flavor and texture throughout. This would be the one thing I'd order again. The beet salad was where we ran into the biggest issue. We specifically told our server about a peanut and tree nut allergy, and he acknowledged it, but the salad still came out with pistachios on top. They remade it, but the replacement portion looked noticeably smaller and less composed than the original. The first one had a nice amount of height and presentation, while the second felt a bit sparse. Given that the remake was due to an allergy mistake, that was disappointing. The mushroom rigatoni didn't really land for me. The pasta wasn't al dente, and the dish tasted more like garlic pasta with a large amount of mushrooms placed on top rather than a mushroom forward pasta where the flavor was actually built into the sauce. Not bad, just not particularly cohesive or memorable. The New York steak was seasoned well, but the cook was inconsistent. We ordered medium rare, and some parts were closer to that than others. It was a thick cut, so I understand there's some difficulty in getting it perfectly even, but at this price point I still expected a more consistent temperature throughout. Our server was pleasant, but check-ins were sparse, and we waited quite a while at the end just to get the check and pay. Again, this was on a Sunday evening with plenty of open tables, so there wasn't an obvious dinner rush to blame. Overall, ASA has a nice atmosphere and the paella was genuinely good, but the food execution and service were inconsistent enough that the dinner didn't quite meet expectations

The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel welcome without being overbearing. The Westholme Wagyu was the showstopper -- that filet with the au gratin potatoes and cremini mushrooms is worth every penny of the occasion you invent to justify it. The Steak Diane was right there with it; the brandy-mushroom cream sauce is the kind of thing you keep going back to with a spoon after the steak is gone. Mongolian Beef was excellent too -- the shaved filet with the garlic chips and slaw had a nice bit of brightness against everything else. And the lobster mac and cheese. I don't need to explain the lobster mac and cheese. Then we ordered four desserts. Yes, four. For two people. The chocolate decadence, the butter cake, the gluten-free torte, and an affogato. No regrets. The butter cake with the strawberries was my favorite, but I was outvoted at least once. Our server JP was fantastic -- attentive, warm, made the whole night feel like an event without ever hovering. Genuinely made the evening. Perfect place for a celebration. We'll be back the next time life gives us an excuse.
