Cute little Cafe. I dont know why the dry cleaners has 10 empty parking spots reserved outside, but apparently they like unused land. We parked on the street. First thing I noticed is coffee was really good. Food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. I had the crab cake Benedict, and we had a Santa Cruz crepe and avocado toast with lox. Plenty of lox, along with everything else. Usually crab cake Benedicts are too salty, but this was actually under spiced in my opinion. Not bad, you can control the salt, but since I never add salt, it was a bit bland. The crab didnt jump out either, it was just a bit mushy and hard to taste. Still good, and healthy. Me and a couple of friends came here on Sunday morning before going to see a movie at AMC Saratoga. My friends got there before me and were seated on the patio ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK. Seriously we were like the last table in the place. There were some fans on but it was still pretty warm back there. After waiting for about 10 minutes and me beginning to think we had been forgotten about a guy came and took our order. I got the Crab Benedict and Sangria. The food came and the crab cakes were mostly breading and not much crab meat. The eggs were a bit over cooked so the yolks were pretty set. The potatoes were a tiny portion, about a half cup. You definitely aren't getting stuffed here. Probably good if you're on a diet. The Sangria was pretty bland and just tasted like juice. Didn't even taste the wine. The server never once checked on us. The only times we saw him was when he took our order and when he brought the check. So the food here is meh and the service sucks. I wouldn't come back here. One last thing, when we were leaving and walked past the other tables on the patio, it was MUCH cooler near the front of the restaurant. Not sure why we got stuck in the back "oven" area. read more

My brunch at Bell Tower Café wasn't too great, and a variety of issues contributed. Next time I'm in Saratoga, I might check out the competition. I expect that Sundays will be busy, but given the actual size of the crowd, I don't think 30+ minutes is acceptable. The staff were friendly enough, at least. The building is charming & historic. However, our outside table, although shaded, was bizarrely warm. It felt like there was a heater turned on, although we were told that it's just how it is. As for the drinks, I thought the mocha was very mediocre. However, the coffee from the pot is adequate, so maybe for your caffeine source, skip the espresso. Now on to the food. The Famous Santa Cruz Crêpe looks nice but is overhyped. The salmon was too salty, yet the shrimp is underseasoned. The onions aren't that appealing either. We came here for lunch after our hike and it was a decent choice. We sat at the outdoor patio since we had our pups with us. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, it came with avocados, eggs, and hollandaise sauce. The overall flavor was good and I'm glad I ordered it. The hash browns and fresh fruit were alright sides. Belltower has long been a favorite--with its welcoming and friendly service as well as comfortable seating, there is a lot to love. In my last several visits I have been struck by the lack of seasoning in the dishes I have ordered. Most recently I was served a totally bland egg and "squishy" French toast with overripe banana slices. The toast should have a nice little crust and softer interior but mine was just a mess. Came here on a Saturday morning after Pilates with 2 friends. We were sat immediately and were able to pick a table. The place feels like an old diner kinda experience but still cute for brunch. We got waters to start and the waiters were quick to take our orders. I ordered a carnitas Benedict and we got a red velvet pancake to share for the table. Our food came out one at a time so it took a little bit of time. My friend ordered a breakfast burrito without cheese and when she got it and it had cheese in it so the had to remake it. Either way the food was SO good. I ate my whole meal and a lot of the pancake that was meant to be shared the waiters were pretty friendly and it ended up being a nice pretty budget friendly restaurant. Will be back! read more

Cute location in Downtown Saratoga walking distance from any street parking. We sat outside and had a view of the street. The food was well portioned for the price. All three of us cleared our plates because it was so scrumptious. The prices were a little higher than I expected for a breakfast place but it was good. It averaged to $30 a person with everyone getting coffee. The bread was the perfect amount of crispy and the salad was fresh. I'd eat here again. Good service: got checked on about 3 times. My brother and I eat here at least once a month. Love this place. The soups are always good as is everything else. If you're lucky you'll be served by Miguel or Lupe who help make dining a great experience. I hear Bell Tower is under new ownership, hopefully nothing changes. We went there on a hot Sunday noon . The waiter showed us our way to the side patio seats, to our surprise the space heater was on on a very hot day , as soon as we noticed we asked to be seated inside as the waiter didn't bother to turn the heater off . We were seated inside but the restaurant didn't have AC on ( only fans ) and they have an open kitchen right across the seating area . The cooking smell and the heat coming from the kitchen made the whole experience unbearable. If you can't have the AC on do not have an open kitchen right next to the tables . Food was average, nothing great about it . I would definitely avoid going there on a warm day as clearly they don't have AC ! read more

We had a lovely breakfast here at Bell Tower Care. We ordered eggs Benedict, strawberries crepe, and cappuccino. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. It is a huge cafe!l with outdoor seatings. They have wisteria trellis on the side by the fence which I think would be lovely when it's blooming. We didn't get to see it since we are early in the season. Late May or June would be a great time for an outdoor brunch here. read more

We came here a couple times and lately the service has been getting a bit slow. It took a while for a server to get our order and waiting a much longer time to receive our food as well. I heard good things from a friend about this place, but I was totally disappointed for the following reason: 1- waited 20 minutes before our order was taken. 2- waited 30 minutes for omelets to arrive. Person who got the order, lost it and was embarrassed to come back and retake the order. After yelling to the manager as to why our order was not in, he said, they lost it and he was going to send another waiter to retake our order. It took one hour to get our plates. 3- coffee, 3 different people asked us and no one delivered. I had to scream at the manager to get us coffee. We got it after 15 minutes. 4- total lack of coordination. 5- lousy food. 3 of us left very unhappy 6- my advice, go somewhere else read more

Cute and comfy cafe! I've been here multiple times and every time was great! The first time I was here, we had just finished an engagement photoshoot at Hakone Gardens. It was in the morning, so it was around brunch time once we were done. We found this place on Yelp and saw all the great reviews and photos of the food they served so we decided to try it! The second time I was here, my family and I were in downtown Los Gatos to get some coffee. We worked up an appetite walking around and I remembered Bell Tower Cafe! We got there after lunch so it wasn't crowded. We decided to sit outside since it was a nice day. Service both times were good, just a little slow even when it wasn't so busy. They didn't seem to be short-staffed or anything, so that was a little odd. I believe the second time I was here, our food took a little over 20 minutes. Hopefully, they can figure out what the blocker might be so there's quicker service next time around. The only downside about coming here is that there's no parking. There's a parking lot next door to them but it specifically says on the signs that the parking lot is for the small businesses in that little plaza, which Bell Tower Cafe is not part of. So there's pretty much only street parking. The good is great here, so we'll continue to come back but most likely at a time that isn't as busy so we can find parking. read more

We just went on a morning hike at Sanborn park and were in the mood for breakfast. My fiancé suggested this place because he had been here a long time ago.
