Field trip day and kids had soooo much fun! Instructor was very professional and values safety! Definitely an activity for the teens. Each kid was able to bring home their mask.

Has a year really passed?? Here we are again!! Another birthday party.. same place (prob different time) and same pizza place (Pizza Guys on Vasco spot on same as last time too!!) Not much to add except Cliff was awesome, place is fairly laid back (reminds me of my past skydives in Byron).. the paintballers and staff are all great to be around. Great vibe. This year we were here for my twins 13th birthday. They all loved it. Just dress for it! Paintballs can hurt if not covered, hence, I got less photos as the path up the hill where they went the second half this year worried me in my workout tights and short sleeve top.. the kids were all dressed for the occasion and only a few bruises but all say well worth the fun.. We LOVED it... AGAIN!

American Paintball Park is not Just paintball. Sure that's what you go there for but you leave there truly feeling a sense of the community they've built. Cliff goes above and beyond to ensure your kids have fun and do it safely. The other community members follow his lead by also making sure things are safe and fun. My son and his friends had an awesome time (they went both Saturday and Sunday!) and I did too. We will definitely be back!

Thank goodness American Paintball park is in the east bay. The owner Clif is really great. Connor was out coach for the day, and he goes above and beyond to make the experience perfect. We try to come out as often as we get the chance because this pb park is hands down the best in the Bay Area/ nor cal. We love it here. The vibe is awesome and so are the people.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Clif is awesome, I love how he goes in depth with the rules right before. The area is huge, it's most definitely a park :). The young men that take you to your location are super sweet and respectful as well. I love how they give breaks in between as well. Thank you all for the great customer service!!! You guys rock!

Friendly and fun! A friend and I took our sons and 4 of their friends each (12 total). We split into different teams and played eight games in two hours. Good time.

What a well run and inviting place to play paintball! I booked a 2 hr package for my boo's birthday, and have been getting lots of texts from all attendees about how much fun they had at American Paintball Park. It's a beautiful, spacious property with plenty of parking, and once we started playing, no one wanted to stop. Clif introduced himself, was extremely friendly and sweet, and helped me wrangle my party together in a timely manner to get us geared up and ready. Some of the members of my crew were late, and I worried that it would cut into our field time, but the staff was so incredibly understanding and easy going about the delay-they got us started late but gave us a full two hours of field time. Was not expecting that but am so grateful that they were flexible and low key! Chris was our ref and our chaperone(for lack of better words) and he fit right in with everyone and made us all feel comfortable. He was cracking jokes with us, paying close attention to the games in play, and keeping us safe. Awesome! I want to come back every weekend, and it's due entirely to the friendly folks that operate this park-the welts all over my body are something that I remember fondly, even though they hurt real bad. Thank you for such a great day!

Located beyond Downtown Livermore, about 20 from San Ramon/Dublin. Nice farming area and big outdoor fields. This a great family oriented business, but they also attract the competitive paintball with rate that accommodate all levels. They provide free, high quality face masks, they don't fog up and keep you from when shot in the face. The staff and referees were very helpful and professional. I went with a private party, $50 per person 10 minimum. Prepaid through PayPal. Includes free face mask( good quality), Tippman rental gun, 1 case of paintballs, 3 hours and your own host/referee. All day pass is $55 person and you must use their paintballs.

Ask the Community - American Paintball Park

How much is it to rent a paintball gun?

$60 if your renting the gear, $35 for self equipped. Full details here: https://americanpaintballpark.com/products

Do you also offer Nerf guns? what's the minimum age for participation?

I do not believe they offer nerf guns (but I would just call them). Minimum age for walkon (no private group) is 12 yrs old. For private groups, 10 yrs old is the minimum age. We did a private party with my 10yo and friends and they had a… Read more

Do you guys do HPA tank refills? If you do how much are they?

Yes, they fill 3k and 4.5k tanks. Fills are included for the self equipped fee for the day.

How many paintballs in a "full case of house paint for 50$"?

    2000 rounds in a case

Do you have to bring your own paintball gun or they'll provide it for you?

You can bring your own or we have guns available for rent.

How is this place for self equipped players? Is there air ball? All I see is spools and plywood?

Old question but answering any way. This place is fantastic for self equipped players. Good mix of regulars and new people. Great vibe. No airball but they do have a nice hyperball field. The others are spools, doors and plywood bunkers, etc.

I saw their pricing for equipment, but is there separate pricing for each game? Or is it just until you run out of paint?

Till you run out of paint. :) Usually paintball field prices are for the whole day. Some do half-day/full-day pricing.

What kinds of food do they have for sale there?

Last time I was there they had hotdogs and chips.

While they preach that athletes must meet certain skill levels--like having tumbling or flexibility--it's not consistently applied. There are athletes on higher-level teams (like J2 Crew, Covert, Swagg, and Pink) who lack basic tumbling skills or flexibility, yet they still get picked year after year. Meanwhile, kids who do have the skills are often overlooked. For example, there was a girl on J2 Crew who has been there for years and still doesn't have a back handspring. Yet, an athlete didn't get to fly because she was a priority. Weird. Cali is an amazing gym if you fit the "type" or look they're going for. But if you don't, skillset alone might not get you where you deserve to be. Just know--it's not always about talent. Sometimes, it's about the image they want to present. Your team will WIN but your child internally may not.

At first we told her why can't you go to Valley Cheer as it was in our hometown. Well long story short, we ended up taking her to Cali. Best decision we ever made. She started on a senior level 1 team as a flyer, which she loves. Let's just say she has the bug. She wanted to do Cali for a year to improve so she could tryout for HS Cheer, well guess what?!? You got it, she didn't tryout for HS as her main focus is to move up a level each year with Cali. This year she made a Jr. Level 2 team. She is one of the oldest, and is now a base. She is enjoying learning how to base, and her tumbling has improved in less than 2 years. This year will give her the opportunity to be a leader to the younger kids on the team. The staff is incredible!!! Calvin and Andrew were terrific coaches last year when she was on Deja Blue. They taught her to believe in herself. She gained confidence as well as wonderful friendships (so did this momma). The gym has taught her how to work hard, have goals and be disciplined. She has experienced highs, lows and many life lessons. We look forward to her year on J2-Crew, and working with Coach Brittany & Matt. Faith over Fear!!! Cali

This year I signed up for classes only a couple of weeks in advance of the start date. In prior years I stressed out signing up for stuff in April only to have a few camps canceled the week prior to the start date, due to low enrollment. This year, enrolling later, only one of the camps I wanted was full. Everything else still had openings. I called and asked if the classes had enough attendees to take place before I paid. This way we avoided disappointment and childcare juggling issues.
