Very cool, chill place. We did the 18 hole experience which honestly didn't take us too long. You start downstairs and then head upstairs to finish the rest. I really enjoyed all the different and creative courses. Definitely a must if you're looking for something to do with friends or even a cute date idea.
Such a fun place for all ages to come, especially on a rainy day! You can do 9 or 18 holes, I'd recommend 18 holes so you can see each hole because they're all so creative and fun! It's a good mix of challenging and fun. We were greeted warmly by all staff. If you need a family fun (or all adults!) activity for a rainy day (or a nice one!) make sure to check out Holey Moley!
Omg this place is so whimsical! It's easily one of the most unique mini golf spots I've been to. We went for the 18-hole course, which I'd highly recommend. Each hole had its own creative theme and fun challenges. If mini golf isn't your thing, there's also a cozy bar and lounge area where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I'd definitely come back to try the food next time!
I've never played mini-golf before and I went on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. And so it was just the two of us and each station or a hole, I don't know the golf lingo, was very different from the next - super fun and cute. You play 18 holes and it should take about an hour; I think it took about 45 min for us just because there was nobody there and you have four different colors of balls that you could choose from and the music was good but not too loud. So you do downstairs nine holes and you go upstairs and play seven holes and then you go back downstairs to do the remaining two. I had fun, we didn't drink nor eat there but there is plenty of seats and two bars so evening appropriate as well. CC accepted.
I would never guess there is a mini golf place from the outside of the building. Parking is a little tough but I had a lot of fun at Holey moley golf. Took advantage of a 2 for 1 deal and checked it out. There are two floors of holes and they have a bar and food options. Also ran into the Snack Sensei there which was very cool. The drinks were tasty, the golf was fun, I would come back!
The vibe was great. Customer service was great. The interaction with the bartender was great. The food was great. The empathy was exceptional! I google the best burgers in the mission and they popped up. Sadly I'm in the city due to a family member final hours. I ordered this burger that came with my favorite fruit and bacon!! Excited. Unfortunately the burger didn't have either. But it's ok. Bc everything else was above board I will be back. It still was good without. So imagine how it'll taste with it.
Great place to come have some fun whether it's during the day or the night ... nighttime is better because it's 21 and up I like how they remodeled the place changing the course a little bit I do wish some of the holes were more harder to complete, but maybe in the future they'll change things up a little bit Pro tip pregame before you go and still get a drink at the bar to drink while you're playing
We had such a great time at Holey Moley Mini Golf! We called ahead to see if we could move our reservation earlier and Eli took care of it right away--super friendly and helpful. The course itself is amazing! 18 creative, interactive holes with everything from video-game themed setups to a wind machine full of "money." Every hole felt like its own adventure.
Really impressed with the remodel from the former mini golf location. Super cute place for a date night, friends gathering or kids bday party. The most detailed mini golf backgrounds I've seen before. My favorite was the money machine! There's also a bar with drinks and a party area that's reservable. Drink selection is good. We didn't eat here but the food looked good. I'd try it next time. Pricey, but fun!
Love the different creative courses, good food and drinks! Overall a very fun place to hangout with group of friends. #holeymoleygolf.usa @holeymoleygolf.usa @holeymoleysanfrancisco #buzzybooth
I took kiddos on a midweek afternoon and found parking right around the corner. Everything is themed beautifully and kept in great condition. The staff welcomed us and helped out when we needed an extra ball etc. I appreciated that there was water and there were washable keg-style cups for while playing. We liked the creativity with the first 9 holes the best in case you are choosing between the front or back 9. So fun!
Really fun mini golf place right in the heart of the Mission (lots of bars and food spots nearby). I heard this replaced Urban Putt so came with 3 friends on a Thursday evening and the vibes were great! We did the 9-hole course and it was fun seeing the creative use of props for each round. I've only been mini golfing a couple of times and only outdoors, so this was a fun and cute place. It wasn't too busy on the day we went and a lot of people were also enjoying cocktails after they finished playing. I would love to come back and experience the 18-hole course. I did hear that they kept some of the props from the old Urban Putt so maybe if you've been before there's less novelty, but fun nonetheless.
It's been a while since I visited when it was formerly Urban Putt, and I a great time mini golfing. The tees are creative and fun albeit tiny as mini golf is. Plenty of tables and water stations. Also food and drinks for ordering. Tip: press the button at your own peril at the "Make it Rain" tee if you're wearing a dress (which I was). It was still fun though. read more

Went to check this place out with a friend after looking for fun activities to do in the city and got curious of how indoor mini golf worked. Overall was a pretty fun experience. We did the 18 hole experience, which I would recommend for a longer playing experience, and enjoyed playing around the various holes. Each hole as a different theme and some have different ways you play instead of just trying to hit the ball into hole. For the two of us, the experience lasted about an hour. Total time though can probably change if there's lots of people ahead of you or if you have a large group playing. Do wish some of the holes were a little more challenging as some were pretty easy, but overall it's worth going to if you're looking for something fun to do. read more

Super fun experience; I can see this being a fun date night! We came during the day on a weekend and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We booked online to save a few bucks, I think it ends up coming out to around $25 per person? Something around there for 18 holes. Service was friendly (though interactions were limited to us checking in). The courses are fun and challenging. I love the theming of everything. I can see this being a real headache when it's backed up and when you're waiting for the party ahead of you but it's a good thing they have a bar so you can drink & socialize while waiting. read more

Came here for 9 holes of mini golf with a friend. Good: - Easy to get started and a party vibe all around - The holes were all self-explanatory and how to play was super easy - Some of the levels were quite creative like the video game one - Pretty cheap for a mini golf experience Bad: - Felt a little lackluster and pretty empty when we went - The holes were fun but each lasted like 30 seconds, so it felt like for $15 we got about 15 min of entertainment - There was a huge reserved party so we couldn't even sit for food Overall this was an okay experience, but wouldn't come again. read more

What an amazing experience here in sf! I came in for happy hour (3pm-5pm) expecting dark and eerie as when it was Urban Putt. I was pleasantly surprised at the bright vibrant environment. At Holey Moley the golf and drinks are anything but sub-par (golf joke). Staff was friendly and accommodating guiding me through the process. We had an office team building at 1 pm on Friday. Staff was friendly and took our larger group. Not a reflection of them but our political climate: there were a multiple menu items (with only for 4 burgers left in total) that were out of stock. They made chicken wings into chicken tenders and we modified the menu to accommodate for food. Otherwise everyone had a good time! Good spot for a date or group social. We did street parking, but it can be limited around the area read more

I had a team building event here with colleagues yesterday and it was fun! We started around 3 pm and ended at 5 for a group of 7 people. At first, I thought the holes were really condensed and compact but given the space limitations they weren't bad after all. I liked that some holes have some interactive features which are different than other mini golf courses. They have full bar and food which didn't get to try. I would definitely avoid coming on weekends or at night as it gets crowded inside. Street parking only. read more

My company hosted a team event here in which we all had a blast. Very instagrammable and tik tok conducive place to have some fun with friends and colleagues. We did the whole course which took maybe about 30-40 mins with our 4 person group. Not sure how long it took everyone else from our outing. We got fed some pretty good sliders, corn ribs and pizza. The only issue I would say is that the food took some time to come out. Bartenders were very cool and was able to handle our large group easily. read more

really inventive and well-designed mini golf course! you can choose the 9-hole or 18-hole options. there is a bar with food and drinks. the daily specials are quite cost-effective, we got an ipa for $5 and shooters for $8 each. they were also advertising 2 jello shots for $6! the employees are all quite friendly and nice. ambiance is very chill. family friendly but with the option of making it more adult with the bar. great place for parties or gatherings. read more

Hi Julianne,…
A fun spot and full of photo ops. I went at opening on a week day when the kiddos were out of school so I'm not sure if that had any bearing on how easy it was to park (me thinks yes) just steps away. It wasn't busy when we arrived but was significantly more so when we finished, 18 holes later. It took the kiddos about 45 minutes to get through the whole course, which was leisurely with plenty of posing. The woman at the front desk was delightful as well as the restaurant/bar staff. Only Shirley Temples for us but looks like there are plenty of cute cocktails, many of which other folks posted. There's an elevator for folks who need it to get to the upper course but friends in wheelchairs will need a little help getting over the step at the entrance. read more

Love this place. The best mini golf experience I've had in a long time and this is coming from someone who grew up in the 80s. Back then, that was basically all you had: Arcades and mini golf. Maybe laser tag if you were lucky. I digress. Compared to some of the other mini golf courses in the city, this feels a lot more complete and well thought out. The holes are fun and colorful, with tons of details and fun twists. The place is well decorated and has a nice, colorful aesthetic without being too overwhelming on the senses. Overall, I think it is a definite improvement from its previous incarnation, Urban Putt. We didn't order any food, but it did smell and look good. We ordered drinks while we golfed and they were easy to order and brought to us quickly. We went on Saturday during the day and there was a great family vibe to the joint. There were scattered couples on dates as well, which made me happy to see - but I suspect I would see a lot more of that if I went after 8 PM, when kids are no longer allowed. Last thing I'll mention is the service. I've been in the city for a long time and as far as I can remember, friendly service has never been considered an important virtue of small businesses. I'm sure in most cases there's great reasons for that (I know SF has traditionally not made it easy for small business and there's a lot of stresses involved). We tend to not expect personable and friendly service. Maybe we even feel suspicious when we see it. Either way, it was nice to see earnest smiles on the faces of people working there. Peter in particular who served us our drinks and the guy working the bar (whose name I didn't get) stood out but everyone there seemed intent on creating a good vibe. We need more places like this in the city. Something families or friends can enjoy without having to go to places Dave & Busters or drive to the suburbs. read more

Very cool place to chill and play some mini golf! Drinks weren't as good as cocktail bars that I'm used to but serviceable if you're not picky. I got the two drinks with bubbles(prosecco). I personally wouldn't recommend tho... They tasted too syrupy for me. The mini golf holes were fun and pretty challenging. I do like that they have 18 holes so that your time there lasts a lil longer. They also have a place where you can chill and play games. Overall, nice spot to chill and kill a few hrs read more

Trying to find a family spot on a Sunday evening. Is it kid friendly?
Yes! Not sure if there's a cut off time but we brought the family and there were other kids there as well.
What's the parking situation like?
Bad. It's the Mission District, yo. There's a pay lot with entrances on 21st and 22nd between Valencia and Bartlett. You can also try your luck parking on the street on South Van Ness. The farther north you go, the more parking there is.
