Fast forward 7 years and now my other two daughters are enrolled as well. I have never seen someone do as much work as the owner Ashley. She is dedicated, and shows up for every dancer. We see the long hours, the care, and the patience. And we want her to know it never goes unnoticed. The teachers create a positive, welcoming environment where the girls feel supported and motivated. My daughters have not only improved on their techniques but have also built meaningful friendships and become much more confident. This studio goes above and beyond, and we're so grateful to be part of it.

Afraid I wouldn't have time etc. etc. This place is so welcoming. It really has a family feel. A lot of the kids, adults and teachers have been there for years and they are more then open to allowing others join the fam : ) I feel good about myself because of the encouragement I have received from Nichole and Byron (tumbling and jazz teachers) They are fun and make coming after a long day of work exciting for me. It's nice to feel that I have nothing to be afraid of anymore, a lot in due part to the environment, schedule and variety of classes offered.

My son came home every day saying he learned no soccer skills because there was little to no coaching. They didn't even play soccer on the last day. Most activities were random games unrelated to soccer. Afternoons consisted mainly of crafts, Legos, and a bounce house--fun activities, but not what was advertised. The check-in process was also disorganized. The receptionist repeatedly struggled to find my son's registration because she was confused about first and last names, despite his information being clearly visible in the system. She claims everyone makes mistake and that's ok, please tell this to your boss, not me. This camp has potential, but it is poorly managed and does not deliver what it promises. Updated based on Russ's feedback - the name in the system was correct because when your receptionist can't find it and handed me the iPad, I was able to look it up and it looks right. However, looks like it was sorted by first name but she asked for last name. I understand it was supposed to be very structured, but during class, it was not the case. My son even asked the coach to teach him how to kick and shoot better but the coach ignored him.

It's about 3 miles if you go all the way to the driving range at Bridges Golf Course. At that point the trail peters out. It looks like they are constructing a new trailhead there. The trail is open, so don't count on any shade in the summer. It's pretty much green hills, with a compacted dirt trail. Fortunately, it's not rutted. I found the hike mildly interesting, but honestly, nothing special. Near the golf course practice center, I saw a lot of range balls on the ground. I was tempted to take them, but I threw most of them back onto the range. I'm pretty sure I did not hit anyone, but a few times I heard some klunks, followed by shouts. I wasn't sure what that meant. They might have been mad that I still had 2 golf balls in my jacket. I did not notice I had borrowed some golf balls until I was pretty far away. These trails are good for beginner hikers, since there aren't any wild animals around. I'm pretty sure there aren't any rattlesnakes or mountain lions. But if there are, I did not see them. And even if I did see any, I had some golf balls I could throw at them. The only wild animals are herds of cows. And there are lots of them! At one point I had to go way around a huge herd. I'm not really afraid of cows, but one kept looking at me with menacing eyes and did not budge from the trail. I was afraid of that one. Could it be a boy cow? I was afraid to get close to find out, so I honestly don't know if it was a boy or girl cow. But he or she looked mean. The whole time I went around the cows I kept saying pleasant things like, "Hi Susie," or "Hi Betsy, how are you?" I'm pretty sure they knew I was a friendly man. I was surprised they knew English. So over all, a pleasant hike. Nothing really special, but plenty of parking makes this a convenient location. The incline is really not too steep, so most hikers will find this an easy hike. For yelpers who are geocachers, there are plenty of geocaches on this trail. I put out about 8 new ones, so there will be lots to find. Keep in mind that there really aren't any facilities such as restrooms or drinking faucets. On the other hand, it's really not a very long hike. Just watch out for that cow with the mean looking eyes.

Quick hike to the summit. Perfect for a brief meditation before starting busy day. San Ramon I love you.

Disappointed with the Declining Quality at Tutu School After five months of observing a steady decline in quality, we have decided to leave Tutu School. While initially promising, the overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. One major issue is the lack of discipline and structure in the classroom. Feedback was given regarding parents chatting loudly outside the fence during class, which visibly distracted the little ones. Despite bringing this up, no action was taken by the school to address it. Additionally, there are children in class who constantly talk over the teacher and other students, causing disruption for those who genuinely want to learn. Again, despite repeated feedback, no measures were implemented to manage the classroom more effectively. Another glaring problem is the way the school handles its schedule. Tutu School was closed for a week during Thanksgiving, recital Sunday, and two full weeks in December. Yet, they charged full monthly tuition and justified it by offering "makeup" classes, which are inconvenient and, frankly, feel like an excuse to avoid adjusting fees. This practice seems unethical and unfair to parents who are paying for a complete monthly program. Lastly, the inconsistency with teachers has been disappointing. Instructors are constantly changing, making it difficult for children to build rapport or continuity in their learning. After months of voicing concerns with no improvement, we've decided to move on. There are other ballet schools in the area with better reviews and more reliable operations. Tutu School appears to have lost the quality it may have once had, and we can no longer recommend it. read more

Tutu School in San Ramon has been a wonderful experience! Ms. Taylor is truly the best - her warmth and dedication shine through, and our little one absolutely adores her.
