5/5 stars First and…read moreforemost, Meera has completely revolutionized the way I see and practice yoga in many more ways than one! I first started working with Meera almost 2 years ago (I have been practicing for about 10 years now) when she started offering weekly virtual classes during the beginning of the pandemic. This immediately helped me with my mental health using her unique flows, sometimes it almost felt like dancing, to calm my mind as the stress of my tech job began seeping into my personal life. Fast forward 6 months and I was so happy to join her studio sessions and workshops in person at Yoga Garden where she went deeper into both the physical (offering outstanding adjustments) and mental (through breath work, meditation, and even chanting!) aspects which continued to help improve my overall wellbeing and even got me through some of the most stressful points of my career to date. Fast forward again to today and I'm so excited to have joined her new private 1-1 in-person offering. She has built numerous highly personalized routines and she not only teaches me when we are together but has helped me to build a sustainable self-practice that I use daily. The practice includes a combination of asanas (typical movement poses and flows), pranayama (breath work which has improved both my lung capacity as well as calming the constant chatter in my mind), and chanting (something I had never previously considered and which has allowed me to build more focus into my daily life). Meera offers a style of yoga that I have yet to find anywhere else where she conducts a truly holistic practice rather than the traditional, fitness-forward, style which is exactly what I have needed to enjoy a well-rounded lifestyle. I would encourage anyone looking to experience yoga that goes all the way back to its holistic roots to give Meera's sessions a try. Her sessions and style have flipped standard studio yoga on its ear to the point where it has become a major part of my life and has given me a completely new outlook on how I approach my health and wellness and is something I will absolutely carry on for the rest of my life! 10/10 I would recommend Meera to all ages, demographics, and lifestyles!

Best hot yoga place in the area!!!!!…read more I have to start by saying that you pay for what you get. This place is expensive! More expensive than many of the yoga studios in the area. One class is $28 and you get a little discount if you are an student. You can also buy a monthly membership which is around $189 or buy a package of 10 or 20 classes. You can sign up for a free one week as well. They have a variety of classes. This is not your regular bikram yoga. The moves are different and so is the intensity. I tried their yoga candlelight class on Monday at 8:00pm which was wonderful. The candles made it very nice. The only thing I didn't like was that the music was extremely loud. I was hoping for a little softer music to end the day. I also did Yoga sculpt twice. In this class they incorporate weights, blocks and cardio. The first time it was with Lisa and the class was extremely challenging. It was very hot class which was so hard but I loved the challenge. The second time it was with Erika and she did good too but the class wasn't as hard as I wish it was. The studio is extremely nice and clean. It is in a busy are in Walnut Creek but I parked in the parking garage across the street so parking wasn't bad. The bathrooms have showers with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and everything you need. Overall I would recommend this place. I wish it wasn't that expensive. I am considering buying a package of classes but $189 a month is just a bit too much.

I love CorePower period. The sequences and the teachers across studios rarely disappoint. When you…read morefind one you love, it can be really awesome. Honestly the sequences are all relatively similar but it's something about the instructors alignment of their music to their sequence that resonates most with me when I practice. I generally do sculpt and so there's more beat to movement but I do love the C2s as well. I was a long time member until I moved out of the area. I would say that this studio gets a 4 star is because the time I attended the most, their heat was broken for a good 3 weeks and so classes were canceled. It made it difficult for a few weeks but also the studios are upstairs then the 2nd downstairs but you can't exit that way, you have to go up and back down to exit. I don't mind a few more steps added to my daily goal but it didn't make much sense. I did appreciate that it was handicap accesible though so maybe that's why.

Personally I make every excuse not to come to class but once I'm here and I'm done, it's 110% worth it. You'll feel stronger, relaxed and all the stress and worries just go away. I come here to not think about the outside world for just an hour and it really works. Whether it's your first time coming or you've been a yogi forever, I'm sure you can agree with me but the classes are great and as long as you come here with an open mind, you'll keep coming back! Ok down to the logistics. First things first, if you're new, welcome! Signing up is easy. You can either sign up at the location or online and you get a free week! What a great deal right? You can literally take as many classes and try them all before you commit to a set of classes or the black tag membership. Next, sign up for classes online and then head on over. Once you get here, check in the front and then walk to the back to drop off your belongings. Although this place is in a nice location, I would bring a lock just in case you leave your personal belongings. I usually leave my mat bag and then bring my wallet, keys and phone to class but that's because I always forget to bring my lock. Then walk over to room 1 or 2 for your class. Set up your mat and enjoy your class. Some other key tips or just things to know and bring - a water bottle and a towel to dry yourself off. Oh and try not to step on other yogi's mats if you're trying to move around in a crowded class. That's it! Enjoy and hope you found this review helpful. If you did, give me a thumbs up and a follow!

The Vibe: The Current Before class,…read moreI wandered through the studio. Something interesting around every corner. While taking pictures, I bumped into another yogi. "This studio is beautiful," I said. She smiled. "The community is beautiful, too." She was right. Not all the light came from neon. The Guide: Anne * Hot Power Vinyasa Anne began by sharing something the yogis understood: Place your focus on the breath, and the mind can rest. She reminded us: This is a breathing practice; the breath, our anchor. Surya Namaskara A linked breath to movement. Then movement became a slow-moving dance. Pyramid led to Airplane. Airplane led to One-Legged Mountain. One-Legged Mountain led to Standing Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose. And on and on we went. As we moved and held poses in the dark blue room, Anne kept bringing us back: Breathe. Create space with the breath. The Tribe: At the close, Anne thanked us for being there, for practicing together as part of this beautiful community. The words resonated. Later, in the locker room, women laughed and talked as they gathered their belongings. Some were doubling up and heading into another class. Others were talking about their weekend plans together. Class had ended. The connection hadn't. The Space & Place: TruFusion feels wonderfully playful: Bold pop-art murals. Neon lights along the hallways. Polished concrete floors carrying the glow from room to room. Open cubbies lining the walkways. And the yoga room: Large. Mirrored. Warm. Floating white globe lights. Bonus: Your first class is FREE. And for that first visit: * Mat provided * Mat towel provided * Face towel provided * Free parking in the garage next door (head to the 3rd floor) Field Note: Breath powered the practice; the people lit it up.

Sundays are busy too, but I can usually find a good spot. One thing I really appreciate is how clean the studio is. I always see the staff cleaning the floors, the room, and the equipment, which makes me feel comfortable working out there. I've always been more of a weights girl, but Hot Pilates has completely won me over. It's challenging, fun, and leaves me feeling so strong. I even drive quite a distance just to take these classes because they're that good. It's become one of my favorite parts of my fitness routine!

I've been away from a steady yoga practice for about 5 years since my former studio closed after…read morethe pandemic. I've been aware of Indigo for a few years, never got myself there, until February of 2026. While I'm not incredibly spiritual, it's one of those things that made me wonder what finally got me through that door. The diversity of the teachers and offerings is amazing. They have 2 yoga studios and there are options every day. The fact that there are classes and events on Friday evenings, Sunday evenings when I find the desire to unwind and treat myself to some self care, icing on the cake. I'm so happy to have found a new community to practice and grow in.

I wanted to like this studio, but was left sorely disappointed…read more The studio is beautiful and spacious, although I found the huge store in the front a bit pretentious, with all the tarot card decks, crystals, etc. that was just too bougie for my taste. I was also disappointed by the instructors. The first instructor got all righteous and told us how "sad" we made her feel after she asked people to move over to make space and we didn't automatically respond, in part because some were confused about which way we should move (it was a very large class of more than 50 people.) She treated us like an annoyed mother telling her children how disappointed she was with them. I did get a good workout, but was a bit perturbed by her ungenerous feeling toward us. Give people the benefit of doubt before reprimanding them! The teacher of the other class was also off putting as she started her class by asking students what yoga meant to them. I don't think it's appropriate to quiz students about why they're in class and then subject others to their answers. Others might disagree, but I just want to practice and then get on with my day, not be tested to see that my relationship with yoga is intact. Needless to say, this studio is not for me!
