We bought a Goalrilla in-ground basketball hoop from Kidz Backyard and have only positive things to say about their business. The price was fair and we liked that they also have a showroom where we could actually see the actual system before purchasing. Importantly, they offer installation services including setting of the in-ground concrete anchor. This was great as with that contraption installation would have otherwise been a real challenge and this is not just a job for the average handyman. The installed hoop looks great and I am sure we will enjoy it for many yars to come. An additional challenge in this case had to do with accommodating our schedule. Installation of the hoop was a multi-step process - setting the anchor first, then letting it cure before doing the actual installation. At the same time, we had a busy travel schedule as well as additional conflicts with other construction work going on in our driveway that needed to get finished first. Kidz Backyard was very flexible and patient in accommodating our constraints; our point of contact Danielle communicated very well with us throughout the process. We are thrilled with our new play structure. The showroom is very convenient and had so many options! Our toddler tried all of them! With the owner Charles, we were able to custom design a structure with the features she enjoyed the most. The crew who assembled the structure was extremely professional and took the time and care to make sure everything was put together safely. We appreciate that they came on the weekend so that our family could enjoy the structure with minimal delay. Tip: measure the amount of yard space you can allocate so that Charles or his salesperson can account for clearance. Then your child can swing and slide safely. read more

I had a bad experience asking kidz backyard to conduct a bolt tighten service . When I booked the service, on the phone I asked them to also cut off the extra chains hanging from our swing set. When I booked the service I was told that the could cut off the extra chain hanging down when they arrived for the service. When they arrived to do the service they said they were unable to cut the extra chain. I am not satisfied that after telling me they could do this service of cutting off the extra chain while coming to tighten bolts they ended up not doing this and still charged me full price - $350 for 10 minutes of work. read more

We bought a customized play house for our son. We did a lot of changes in it. And if turned out perfect! The quality is great. Nothing like Costco quality and in the future we also the option to add swings and other things to it as our son grows. The customer service at the store was incredible. Very easy to work with. We built a retaining wall to make our backyard flat-er but still needed an A-frame play set to accommodate the slope, which limited the number of companies and dealers we could work with. Kidz Backyard was easy to work with and helped design a play set my daughter absolutely loves. Paying the extra fee to have Kidz Backyard install the play set was well worth the added expense. read more

The only thing I would say is to check shipping charges. If you're within 40 miles it's reasonable but anything further, you'll save a TON by purchasing directly from one of their manufacturers - backyard adventures, even though this company is on the east coast. read more
