You have your choice of places down here to go, but I highly suggest coming here. We showed up and found out that there could be up to a 20 minute wait to proceed in line. With the staff telling us that up front, we appreciated that. There wasn't any misleading here. I really enjoyed they told us this and appreciated that. Even though you could tell the employees were uncomfortable having to keep saying it to every customer. What is unique about this is that even though you have to wait, there is a putting green in an area before the course starts. So even though you may not get to start your game as soon as you pay, you can still do a little putting. Then the course starts for you. Even though there area a ton of people, it flows. As the group ahead of you finishes a hole, you start. This happens for each hole. You are constantly moving. You ascend, you descend. You follow the footpath and arrows. The theming here is on point as well. The whole pirate theme is carried through nicely. Especially around the Jolly Roger. The water cannons simulating cannonballs being fired. The multiple waterfalls. Also keep your eyes open for some local history. Throughout the course there are informational plaques. Take a moment to read them. Also available is an arcade. Some items in the gift shop. And ice cream.

I hate being stuck behind groups) Nothing crazy but personally I believe the course here was just a little more fun compared to the Lost Treasure mini golf course down the street. Neither place is 'challenging', but I do feel like the holes at Mutiny had slightly more 'obstacles' making it overall more enjoyable for 2 adults with no kids. That being said, still obviously a kid friendly course. Also, a well maintained course.

My BF & I appreciated that it wasn't just 36 holes of what I call 'straight shots'. The courses actually had some obstacles and turns in the course. Still kid friendly I think, but also a little more 'challenging' for adults making it more enjoyable. Compared to the other 2 courses though, there aren't as trash cans around on the course. Not a big deal just a little inconvenient. Lastly, I don't know what makes it different, but the balls here move so easy! Almost too easy lol My BF and I felt like we were barely tapping the ball and it'd go way further than expected! Again, compared to the other courses when you would barely tap the ball it would barely move. So, a little bit of a learning curve. Or maybe there was just something in the air that day.

It wasn't crowded when we arrived at 5:30 which was perfect for how slow our gals were playing. The course needs a bit of upkeep, which is the reason for my one star deduction, but that really didn't matter much to us. Some of the greens were tattered and a few loose bricks etc. It is cash only but they have an ATM on site! The holes weren't too challenging either which was a plus with kids. They even have a cute little putter for the smallest kids! Of all the courses we have been to, this one is the one to get the bang for your buck if you have small kiddos!

There was only 1 Glow Golf in Yelp for Hampton Roads and this one is inside MacArthur mall - 2nd floor, South Side area. It's best to set your expectation properly when going here. Don't expect to be woo'd in amazement about how intricate or crazy the courses are.
