A fun little activity with a small arcade. If you're close by and bored then go for it but there might be better

Great deal where each adult paid $15 to play 36 holes of mini golf. It is the off-season, so it was not crowded on the course, but it was a fun time putting through a variety of obstacles. I've been on more elaborately decorated mini golf courses, but this is pleasant enough and well-maintained. I would have preferred a bit more shade while playing on a sunny day, but then that probably would have led to more leaves on the greens. The pop music soundtrack contributed to a lighthearted mood. It was a good way to spend part of a Saturday afternoon here on the Outer Banks! read more

Went to ride karts 2 times. They are electric, so they were quiet. Bonus - no fumes. On a busy day the wait would be long but it wasn't too bad with a fairly short line. Our 2 youngest were just tall enough to enjoy riding with adults so everyone could join in. Storm came up while we waited in line and they honored the tickets with a rain check - no expiration. Thought that was a cool thing to do. read more

Great place for all ages! The mini golf course we did, was challenging enough, but not too hard for the kiddos. Arcade is a little pricey, but the Go Karts were a blast! Some of these reviews must be from before a major renovation because the greens looked brand new. Great one stop shop of entertainment for the whole family! read more

I visited here tonight with my 8 year old daughter. She had a blast. After some not so great weather and beach conditions, Paradise may have saved our vacation. After crying over red flagged beaches so far our whole trip, she wants to come back here tomorrow instead of the beach. We played the Blackbeard course and the greens all seemed to have new carpet. We rode the bumper cars twice and they were tons of fun. We also rode the go carts twice. These were the best go carts I've personally ever driven. I love that they are electric; no noise and no fumes. Plus instant power. The arcade was a lot of fun. It's not huge but "awesome" according to my daughter. The staff was generally friendly and very helpful. One of the staff even demonstrated the new "Wipeout" ride because we wanted to see what it did before buying tickets but no one else had ridden it yet. We left after almost 3 hours with tickets and credits on our card but we will use them next time. We will definitely be back. read more

I'm wavering between three and four stars. We only played mini gold, and there are two courses, but there is much more to do. So for that reason, I'll go four stars. I forget which course we played, but I think it was the one without the pirate ship. Fun, but typical, putt putt golf. But there are lots of other things to do here, including bumper cars and go carts. Inside there are many video games and pinball machines, and air hockey. I also seem to recall seeing food, drink and ice cream options (but don't hold me to that, as we did not eat or drink). As I recall, it's much easier to get in from the north side, and parking is in the back. I'm tempted to take a away a star for the lackadaisical help, but they did not affect our enjoyment, so I won't. Oh, and there not very good at the mini gold either. ;-) Bottom line: Keep this place in mind if it raining, as it has things to do indoors. We only did the arcade, but this arcade was just what we needed. Its small but packed with good, new games. I saw only one game out of order and it was just the player 4 position. The buying of credits and cashing tickets is all electronic and requires no interaction with staff (lines) though the prize machine can be a bottleneck. My 2 kids had a blast for $30. Paradise Golf and Arcade offers 2 mini golf courses, bumper cars, and go karts. My husband and I wanted to try a new course so we decided to stop in. We contemplated leaving because the entire area was PACKED, no one was wearing masks and they certainly weren't socially distancing. Being proactive in the situation, we brought our own putters and golf balls from home and wore our masks on the golf course. The employees were behind plexiglass and were wearing masks, but it wasn't obvious that equipment was being sanitized regularly. The mini golf for 18 holes was $10 per adult, which seemed fair for mini golf in the area. The mini golf course we took was challenging and had fun scenery. We probably would've spent more time here if more protective measures were enforced, but decided to leave immediately after we were done golfing. It would be a fun location for families when not in the midst of a global pandemic. read more

As of, well now they have made many improvements. They have (sorta) fixed the ripped grass, the bumper cars are closed last time I saw and the race track was open. The arcade is kinda scammy, the jackpot scores are WAY to high and almost impossible to win. The staff are pretty okay. One is really nice and understanding. read more

The course is ok. We played 36 holes. The course needs some shade and a different playlist. It is fantastic that the owners love AC/DC (and nothing towards the band), but it would probably help to play anything else. Other golfers were even complaining about the music. read more

Beach vacation = mini golf. Family and I came here because we had a coupon (play one round get one free!) We had a nice time playing the 2 courses. The courses were well maintained and clean. They probably have been upgraded since some of the reviews on Yelp here. We found no bad divots or ripped greens. The water was colored blue and not slimy. Most holes were par 2-3 and nothing too difficult. A lot could be made with straight shots...but I was not that good. Only 1 hole-in-one out of 36! In fact, no one in my family got one except mine. They also have electric go karts which seemed to have a good business going, and also bumper boats which were like hovercraft. No one was on those. There were a few arcade games, too. Place was run by teens in their Summer jobs. Some care, most don't. About $25 for 2 adults and 2 kids to play 2 courses with the coupon. A fun time out. read more

Paid $30 for 3 adults to use the Go Karts. Went on a Friday afternoon, and the place was completely empty with a group of 6-7 male employees just standing around, not acknowledging us. Seems a bit overkill, but okay. We get into our Karts, and start moving. The electric Go Karts are SLOW. To worsen the experience, the guys standing at the control panel can and will slow your Kart down if they feel it's necessary (which they did to us, saying we were driving "too aggressive"). Waste of money and won't be going back here again. read more

only went for the golf due to seeing all the other reviews of the bumper car+go kart issues. Mini golf solely was great no problems (but those flags did get annoying). Even tho it was scorching heat it was very fun with family. Two biggest problems with the place and they weren't even big problems. First, like all the reviews say the bumper cars and go karts didn't seem so good for the cost. Secondly, the lady at the desk was a bit rude and passive aggressive when we were choosing our clubs. Don't waste your money on this horrible course with it's ripped up greens everywhere. So bad you have to actually try and play around the ripped up greens. Dry rot is everywhere and obviously not been taken care of in years. read more

We only did the mini golf course, $10 for adults, $8.50 for children. Price felt high for the courses and wait times. unfortunate experience with the go karts. we have go karted here for years and played mini golf. the carts didn't seem to be functioning properly and staff yelled at the kids. it was humiliating and shocking and very much rattled our kids. they were actually in need of help and did not get assistance . I cannot understand why grown men would swear at young girls. unprofessional on so many levels. Owner/ management should be on site to make sure this doesn't happen. We were told the owner is Miami?! Yelled at a kid, not only yelled, SWORE! poor girl came off crying after being humiliated. Not cool, Go karts kept breaking down and the staff clearly can control them so whenever a cart stopped they would simply YELL at the person as if its their fault!! Perhaps... I just had a decent time... enough to not give this place 1 or 2 stars..But then again I came for 1 thing.. and that was putt putt. I usually try to avoid go karts and arcade games because they are usually overpriced a waste of time and money. Plus I'm over 12 so perhaps that is why also .So anyway luck of the draw we ended up here. Wen only played. 1 course (18 holes) which I think set us back a few bucks. The course itself was interesting we had very few hole in ones... a lot that were almost hole in ones were deflected because of the flag so you had to be more precise with your putting. I thought this park was super fun! My boyfriend, his mom & I all really enjoyed the mini golf. Me, my boyfriend and his mom were enjoying our time on the go kart tracks when my boyfriend got kicked out for being "aggressive". It was outrageous resulting in him acting out and being a dick. staff here really sucks! Really rude. If you can get past the fact that the staff isn't great, you could have a great time. read more

Our 7yo wanted the whole family to play mini golf as his special treat. He'd seen this course specifically while driving back from playing real golf, so we headed there at 10am on an exceptionally hot October Sunday. We were the second group there when we arrived. They have rates for 18 holes and 36 holes, kids and adults. We played 18 holes - the Buccaneer course. I liked the way the holes were marked with the flags (yellow for Buccaneer, red for Blackbeard), as sometimes, it really can be difficult to spot the hole from the tee. The course is well maintained, though I resent the way the darn cups seemed to keep my ball out when it was on the edge sometimes...They have trash cans and benches every so often, much appreciated by my father-in-law for the breaks needed while waiting on a 4yo and 7yo to stop fighting and just take their turn. There was practically no shade, so be sure to wear sunscreen! read more

We went midday during the shoulder season of summer (AUG). We spent $20 for an arcade card and my two kids got good use out of the money we spent. We did enjoy small prizes but that is not the point. We had good family fun and $20 for arcade games was probably about what I expected for the height of tourist season. I would hope it drops in price in the offseason. The G-Karts was $10 per car, and we had a good time. The Karts were okay. The staff can slow your car down remotely if they feel you are losing control or are bumping into anyone. I was fine w that. It was fun. For $40 for a family of three, I thought we had a good time. We did not try putt putt or the bumper cars, or the snack bar. read more

The park was okay, the help seemed like they really didn't want to be there, dressed down in torn clothes, smoking around the people who were on the mini golf course and so on - just not an image I would expect from a place trying to attract patrons. With so many places for mini golf in the Outer Banks, we decided on this one because it cost $7 per person for a round of mini golf. Sure, we might have saved $1 per person (most other places cost $8 per person), but we lost 1+ hour of time in this dive that is quite obviously well past its prime. Just okay customer service, an "arcade" with about 8 games, faded golf turf which in many places was worn, and go-cart racing at $10 for a 5 minute ride in electric cars. We had the sensation that we were playing the same hole over and over again. Hardly any variation throughout the course. No windmills, no waterfalls or obstacles, and nothing really that pretty to look at. Most mini-golf places have a "theme:" Pirates, dinosaurs, etc. This place's theme: Paradise lost. read more

With a young teen and a tween, it's pretty much impossible for us to make a trip to the beach without at least one stop for go-carts. Most of the carts in the OBX are OK at best. The carts here are unique in that they are electric. Don't confuse electric with slow as these carts are as fast or faster than all the others in the area. An added bonus is they are quiet and well maintained. We were here in the off season and were kinda surprised to find them open. The carts aren't cheap at $10 a ride, but that seems to be the going rate in the area. The course is decent and has room for some real racing. The cars were in great shape and they had both singles and doubles (for those with younger kids). The staff were friendly and really looked after us since we were pretty much their only clients at that time. I'll definitely bring my kids back when we visit the area again. read more

Love coming to this place every time we came to Outer Bank. They have a pretty good games choice inside and out! We were really enjoy with the mini golf also the bumping car, and more!
