Diggers Dungeon was a little underwhelming. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I drive 50 minutes to get there and ran out of things to do once I arrived after 20 minutes of being there. There was a petting zoo, some free range chickens, and a few peacocks in the peacock cages! The store was nice, but they didn't have very many options for sizes. It seemed that every selection for a shirt or sweatshirt they had was only one specific size. The grave digger race for kids was super cute and I'm definitely going to bring my nephew next time for it. Overall, it was a very cool experience and I'm definitely going to come back again with some new people to appreciate it.

Definitely recommend if you have any monster truck or Grave Digger lovers! I took my two godsons (2 & 3 1/2 years old), and they were in heaven. We got mini monster trucks for $10 each in the store (where they also have very nice & clean bathrooms to use- pics included), they got to drive a mini Grave Digger around a little track twice for $5 each ($5 to drive or ride), and we ate at the Digger's Dine In restaurant (which was also reasonably priced!). They also have rides on a real monster truck (not the Grave Digger) that's $10 each person, and that goes around their track twice (which did include some big hills and going in reverse, but everyone has to be at least 2 years and up to ride). We didn't go on that, but when the kids are a little older, I'll take them on that. I definitely recommend popping in to see everything- everyone was so friendly for the most part, and they even have a little animals area with a couple of goats, chickens, roosters, and another little area with a peacock. We spent two hours here, and it was well worth it!

We stopped here on our way to Outer Banks. The shop is FILLED with toys, clothing, and collectibles floor to ceiling, but it is organized which is great and easy to see everything. My husband and I enjoy off road vehicle and monster trucks and this little stop was great! There is an inside race track where kids or adults can race some of the trucks and cars they have which has a window above it that shows the inside of the mechanics shop for the trucks. There is a few different places all over where you can take photos with the trucks they have placed outside, just be respectful and do not climb on the trucks. You can pay to ride in one of the monster trucks, we did not get to do that when we passed through as we were there too early but we will be going back next time to enjoy it! There is also a small petting zoo there with some birds and small animals, the peacocks were beautiful. Very fun experience!

I LOVED Monster trucks so naturally I Loved this store. Employees were friendly enough but the store was Awesome! Monster Truck and Grave Digger Galore! I was in Grave Digger heaven! I was impressed with amount of merchandise they have. They have t-shirts in every size, miniature monster trucks, toys, souvenirs, you name it. They have the most recent catalogs, baseball caps, sweaters, posters, and they even have blankets! They had the actual original grave digger out on display in the garage which you can view from inside the store. They have a coin operated souvenir penny coin but it was out of commission due to covid. The ladies seemed to be knowledgeable about where the monster trucks were having their shows. Unfortunately the one here in Va Beach is postponed due to covid. We walked out of there with the Scooby doo monster truck blanket, monster truck cars for my kid and t-shirts for the family. I would recommend this sore to any monster truck fan like me!

So it's a great stop for a few minutes. Great for kids to stop by and see the workings of a monster truck garage. Try the truck ride one time. Dennis Anderson even comes by once a month or so. The kids will love it.

This is a 4 WD shop. They have Monster Trucks they customized out front. It caught my attention. Looks like in the summer they give Monster Truck rides also. They sell accessories and lift kits, just about anything for a 4x4.

ITS GRAVE DIGGER! A must stop! Check everything out. Plenty to see. A NC original! Bathrooms, diner, and of course TRUCKS! Rides for the kids as well.

I've been coming here for as long as I could remember. They have changed this place over 20 years so much. Inside is lots of merchandise. Outside they used to have a monster truck haunted ride thru the woods. Now they have take you on monster truck rides on a track and on jumps. They also have a petting zoo here as well. They also have a little monster truck themed diner right next door too. It is seriously an experience you will always remember for your family and friends.

My 3 year old digger enthusiast loved this place. We did everything but the museum experience because he was so young.

I enjoyed wandering around this toy store. I was looking for a family friendly game but I wasn't able to make a decision so I moved on to checking out the plethora of Melissa and Doug toys and the Create-a-Critter machine. I've always been a Melissa and Doug fan because I feel like they make quality, timeless toys. I like their wooden puzzles in particular but they offer offer lots of great toys. Anyone who likes Melissa and Doug will probably appreciate the diverse selection at OBX Toys. Create-a-Critter was new to me. Lucky for me there was a little boy making a bear so I got to witness a little bit of the creation process. Basically, Create-a-Critter is like Build-a-Bear. You pick the critter you want to make yours and then the staff help you use this big gumball-machine-looking-thing that fills the critter to make it a plush toy. Critters start at about $20 and then you can pick out outfits and such. In addition to selling toys, including hosting Create-a-Critter birthday parties, OBX Toys also has an engraving business. I saw some of their samples but didn't get a very close look. Also, I saw an advertisement that says they do gender reveal boxes which seems like a neat idea. I didn't interact with the staff while I was at the store but I saw them helping other customers and could see how kind, patient and helpful they are. I definitely plan to return the next time I am in the area.

They go through great lengths to curate their shop with unique interactive toys that aren't usually picked up by the big name online or physical retail stores (think Amazon, Target, etc). They have lots to touch and play with at kid level and there were several kids that seemed to be enjoying making their wish list! The shop itself is very narrow, tightly-spaced and a little tough to navigate through. But it's still worth a look. Great selection of all kinds of toys, old and new and many different brands as well. I've managed to get some interesting deals on some must-have items. I even found an entire toy set I had when I was a kid, which are some of my favorite types of finds as they take me back to my childhood. The prices can sometimes be a bit steep, but if you're a serious collector or you're just a big kid at heart, then it's totally worth it! My favorites are the wrestling figures, there are so many to choose from and some you can't find anywhere else. Some awesome additions to the collection have been found here. However, some toys in the store are hanging on the shelf in a plastic bag, which makes it difficult to see what they are and to browse through as I have to take all of them off the rack one-by-one to get to the one I want to see. If there was an easier way to do that, it'd be great. I'm sure the other patrons don't appreciate me holding up traffic while I rifle through several dozen little baggies that are above my head, trying not to tear the plastic or knock everything off the wall while I am squeezed in the six-inch amount of floor space between the displays. I also like the Hot Wheels cars, the blind boxes, and they usually have some really cute stuff by the front door like scented candles with cool themes, plushies, and bright, colorful goodies that could lift anyone's spirit with their innocent and happy stylings. Overall, I think it's a great spot to get some really cool pieces of one's playful past or a new addition to the lifelong obsession! So whether you're a sentimental sap who needs a good reminder of simpler times, or if you have managed to maintain your imagination and enjoy some wholesome fun, then this is the place for you! (and me, since I happen to fit both descriptions.) (they could use some shopping baskets, though.)
