I…read moreended up giving it a 3 because my husband only reason for giving it and extra star was he said" the courses were great for being a 20 year old mini golf course. I thought they could have done a little maintenance since it was closed down during the Covid-19 pandemic The person checking us in was not real friendly at all. It seemed like we were bothering her. Easy to check in. You pay. You get a coin. You go over to the ball machines. Put your coin in and you get whatever ball color you want. The staff gives you the clubs. The courses are pretty interesting. That part is great. Difficulty was pretty cool. Medium level. The courses were a bit dirty. Bits of debris could have been blown off with a leaf blower. The carpet on one course had a root stopping the ball from going through the hole. One course we lost our ball in the woods into a river (Hole 5) they should have a net to prevent this. So long story short. If they hired a new staff instead of that girl. Cleaned their courses. And did a little maintenance I will give it a 4 star. They had 36 holes but the girl said we could not do all of them at that time it was not available. I think we should have gotten a coupon for a return because we wanted to do all 36 holes. Prices for 36 was great but not for the 18 holes.

Fun idea, but execution needs work!!…read more I visited Circuit Social expecting a lively experience, but it didn't quite meet expectations. The concept is interesting, but some games were not working properly, and the overall setup felt a bit disorganized. The space looks nice, but it got crowded quickly, making it hard to enjoy the activities. Drinks were average for the price, and service was slow during peak times. Overall, Circuit Social has potential, but better maintenance and smoother operations are needed before it becomes a place I'd recommend.

My boyfriend and I have visited 3 times prior to me leaving this review and each time we've had issues with the tap room card readers. The advertised price per fluid ounce isn't tabulated correctly on their systems and we've been overpriced each visit. We've brought the issue up to the staff before and one of our drinks were comped but overall not a great fix if you were to bring a large group or have more than 1 or 2 beverages. Game play was good in my opinion, unless you are a fan of pinball. Respectable selection but the gameplay is subpar. Most of the machines are missing lights or key switches to story modes. Also, pinabll being $1.00 per play with some of them having no ball save and high scores required for free play. There was a decent selection of games to choose from and about 8 or 9 pinball machines which attracted us there to begin with. Most of the games are $1 to play minus ski ball for $0.25 per play. We've never tried the food but each time we've gone we have seen people enjoying a plate or two. Cleanliness: overall the arcade area is pretty clean no major problems but the restrooms were a bit subpar in my opinion. The attached photo was taken 39 min after opening and there were zyn pouches and toilet paper on the stall floor. With the amount of people present at the time I think it was safe to say the restroom was not properly cleaned the evening prior. We'll continue to visit due to the purely due to the lack of arcades in the area but I probably won't put my card down for a bar tab again.

We came…read morein on a busy Saturday afternoon, and even with the crowds, the staff kept everything running smoothly. First off, this place is HUGE. There's truly something for everyone. We started at the bowling alley (our main event), and the lanes were clean, the scoring system was intuitive, and the party host made sure our group was set up and having fun. Despite a lot of guests bowling at once, wait times were reasonable and the lanes had comfortable seating areas for everyone to relax between turns. Apex has a gigantic arcade, axe throwing, bumper cars, an immersive dark ride, escape rooms, high-speed go-kart racing, Hologate VR, laser tag, mini golf, pool tables, a ropes course, and even sports simulators! If you can't find something you enjoy here, it probably doesn't exist. Everything was well-maintained, and the staff at each attraction were friendly and helpful, making sure everyone knew how to play and was having a good time. Food and drinks definitely exceeded my expectations for an entertainment venue. The bars are fully stocked, and the food menu ranges from classic favorites to more upscale options like pizza, burgers, wings, and salads were all fresh and tasty. Our server was attentive, had great recommendations, and was super quick with drink and food orders, which made our party even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a location for a night out with friends, a kids party, or even an adult party ... Apex is your spot.

Our only issue was when we went to the floor with the escape room to purchase tickets the person who helped us let us know what time the next escape and axe throwing session were and then we asked if we could do the minigolf course before the escape room. She said yes and charged us for it. Originally we had asked for 2 separate checks since we were with friends. But she just did it on one check and split the cost. She gave us only on receipt for it. When we went to the mini golf course there was a wait of about 8-9 people just for the first hole because of how over filled it was with kids. Kids just running around everywhere. We went back and just asked for a refund for the mini golf and we would just wait for the escape room since we didn't realize it was that packed with kids in there. We only had 25 minutes to kill and the first hole alone would take us those 25 minutes. The same person did the refund BUT she didn't tell us it would not be a refund but put it on two apex gift cards to use as credit....... She did not communicate this to us at all. She just said here you go and handed us those cards. I asked what is this and she said your refund.... That is not a refund that's like store credit. And we wouldn't have minded that if she just communicated it was non refundable.

The biggest downside was the heat, especially upstairs in the laser tag area. It was uncomfortably hot and could definitely use better ventilation. The party room itself is on the smaller side and felt very cramped (only accommodates 12 bodies comfortably) and was warm too. The arcade noise carries in even with the door closed as the walls don't go up to the ceiling, but noise is expected in an arcade setting. That said, there were a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. The party room was decorated well, with detailed under the sea murals on the wall, and the place settings were surprisingly nice with sturdy glowing plastic plates, cups, and neatly arranged silverware that matched the neon and black-light theme. It made it feel more put-together than typical party setups. (Even though I decorated with my own decorations and partyware, as the birthday girl had a particular theme she wanted.)Our party attendant made it a point to check in to empty trash and make sure everything was going smoothly. One of the most appreciated features was that parents could watch the laser tag games from downstairs on the screens, and a few were even allowed to jump in and play with their kids at no extra charge, which was awesome. The kids absolutely loved the variety of arcade games and had a blast. Party pricing and packages were comparable to other venues, with three options to choose from, and we really liked being able to bring our own food and drinks. They were also very accommodating, since there wasn't a party before ours, they let us in early to decorate at no extra cost, and they didn't rush us out at the end, only asking for 30 minutes to reset the room for the next group. That flexibility made a huge difference, especially since we had the largest party package with multiple laser tag rounds plus arcade time, cake, and food. Parking was a bit tricky, but that was expected at the oceanfront (and we were glad it was the off-season). Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time and the birthday girl is already asking to have another party there, which says it all. A FUN venue with great staff and party flexibility, just be prepared for the heat, especially upstairs, the typical arcade noise (even in the party room) and the frustration of VB Oceanfront parking, as there isn't dedicated parking for the venue.

Maybe that is the reason we were the only folks in the arcade. We ended up with enough tickets to get 6 pieces of "penny candy". So I'd say skip the arcade and take your kiddo to the dollar store and let them come out with 5 or 10 dollars worth of stuff. Also we paid $12 to park in the lot behind the arcade. So a costly 15 minute experience.
