One of the better mini golf locations at OBX! The decor was consistently thematic throughout the course. The course is well-maintained, and the setting is absolutely beautiful! I do wish there was a bit more variety in terms of the holes, but overall I enjoyed the experience. Also handicap accessible and a lot of places to sit in the shade between holes.

In the outer banks for a few day and decided to play mini golf. It was 10 per person. Which is not bad, some other places were charging 15-20 bucks for one person. We tried to go the first time but since it was starting to storm we couldn't play anymore. So they gave us a rain check which allowed us to come back for free if we had the ticket. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to comeback the next day. At the time we went it wasn't that crowded however I can see how later in the day it can get crowded. However compared to the other mini golf this was was the least crowded. I like How this course give you space for each group to play at their own place. All the wholes with a few exceptions were fairly easy for a novice golfer. I would recommend this mini golf course over others because it's not too crowded, price is decent and the staff were super friendly and accommodating!

My son was dying to play min golf with a cool theme. We like the pirate theme of this course. We played around in the late morning and had a great time. Most halls offer you a bench and some shade which is nice on a hot day. The Course was well-maintained and had some neat features. It was $10 for adults and nine dollars for children. You could tell that they knew what they were doing because they gave us the right side clubs while we were paying.

Mutiny Bay has a little gift shop and arcade in the same building where you pay for miniature golf.

Bottom Line: A fun, well maintained and reasonably priced par two miniature golf course. I really like Mutiny Bay for miniature golf. It's a fun course plus it is well maintained and nicely landscaped. I appreciate that there are benches with overhangs that provide shade throughout the course. Additionally, the staff are friendly. At $9 for an adult, this is a fair price for such a great course. Kids are discounted at $6, I think.

Great course and beautiful views. Just a warning for older players- there are A LOT of steep stairs to climb!!!

Good time. Thoughtful design of the course into two different courses really helps crowd control.

Tough but fun course. It gets busy around 6:00. Made a hole in one on number 18 to beat my grandson by one stroke.

Great golf, great times. Learned a lot about pirates! We basically had the course to ourselves because we went on a Wednesday at 2.

As far as mini golf on the Outer banks goes this is absolutely your best bet between kitty hawk and ocracoke.

It wasn't crowded when we arrived at 5:30 which was perfect for how slow our gals were playing. The course needs a bit of upkeep, which is the reason for my one star deduction, but that really didn't matter much to us. Some of the greens were tattered and a few loose bricks etc. It is cash only but they have an ATM on site! The holes weren't too challenging either which was a plus with kids. They even have a cute little putter for the smallest kids! Of all the courses we have been to, this one is the one to get the bang for your buck if you have small kiddos!

The course is really dilapidated - wrinkled turf, loose bricks, concrete falling off the rebar at the caves and dinosaurs that are missing chunks. But, my nephews don't seem to mind and one of them even pointed out one of stegosaurus' bony plates being in the bushes. Funny. The draw for Jurassic Putt for me is that during the day we you can play both 18 hole courses for $10 total. Five dollars for 18 holes of golf is a great deal. There is a little bit of shade at this course but mostly inside a few caves and in the shade of a few trees. This course is cash only but they do have an ATM.

I…read moreended up giving it a 3 because my husband only reason for giving it and extra star was he said" the courses were great for being a 20 year old mini golf course. I thought they could have done a little maintenance since it was closed down during the Covid-19 pandemic The person checking us in was not real friendly at all. It seemed like we were bothering her. Easy to check in. You pay. You get a coin. You go over to the ball machines. Put your coin in and you get whatever ball color you want. The staff gives you the clubs. The courses are pretty interesting. That part is great. Difficulty was pretty cool. Medium level. The courses were a bit dirty. Bits of debris could have been blown off with a leaf blower. The carpet on one course had a root stopping the ball from going through the hole. One course we lost our ball in the woods into a river (Hole 5) they should have a net to prevent this. So long story short. If they hired a new staff instead of that girl. Cleaned their courses. And did a little maintenance I will give it a 4 star. They had 36 holes but the girl said we could not do all of them at that time it was not available. I think we should have gotten a coupon for a return because we wanted to do all 36 holes. Prices for 36 was great but not for the 18 holes.
