One of the better mini golf locations at OBX! The decor was consistently thematic throughout the course. The course is well-maintained, and the setting is absolutely beautiful! In the outer banks for a few day and decided to play mini golf. It was 10 per person. Which is not bad, some other places were charging 15-20 bucks for one person. We tried to go the first time but since it was starting to storm we couldn't play anymore. So they gave us a rain check which allowed us to come back for free if we had the ticket. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to comeback the next day. At the time we went it wasn't that crowded however I can see how later in the day it can get crowded. However compared to the other mini golf this was was the least crowded. I like How this course give you space for each group to play at their own place. All the wholes with a few exceptions were fairly easy for a novice golfer. I would recommend this mini golf course over others because it's not too crowded, price is decent and the staff were super friendly and accommodating! read more

I LOVE MUTINY BAY ADVENTURES PUTT PUTT!!! I love this putt putt for many reasons. When you walk in, immediately I thought "wow this is well themed". The whole course was very well themed from a pirate ship to the waters of the sea. There were many areas good for pictures , lots of cannons and even a bridge with exploding water to replica a cannon ball splashing into the water(only at certain times though). Next, quality.The holes were very nice. The turf is the perfectly done and is easy to putt on. Along with that the putters and golf balls were in very good shape. Then the holes were very accessible for wheelchairs traveling along on your adventures. Along the path they also have vending machines often around the holes. I got really thirsty so if you are looking for my water it's in the trash. Finally this putt putt place is great for families looking for something fun to do. My son was dying to play min golf with a cool theme. We like the pirate theme of this course. We played around in the late morning and had a great time. Most halls offer you a bench and some shade which is nice on a hot day. The Course was well-maintained and had some neat features. It was $10 for adults and nine dollars for children. It's a fun course plus it is well maintained and nicely landscaped. I appreciate that there are benches with overhangs that provide shade throughout the course. Additionally, the staff are friendly. Really cute and fun miniature golf in OBX. Seems newer than the others in the area but overall is very well maintained. The greens were unique without being overly hard (wasn't too far off par by the end haha). Definitely recommend going on a cloudy day or towards the evening, this place has no shade. We went in the evening so it was perfect but we couldn't imagine doing 18 holes in the middle of the day. Sunburn central if ya do! Overall highly recommend and would probably do this again when we come back for vacation. read more

Very overrated on Yelp. Super crowded, so you have to wait on each hole. But by far the worst part is that *they have removed all obstacles from every hole*!! When we got our scorecard and saw every hole was a Par 2, we wondered how that was possible. The answer: every hole is almost the exact same because there is literally not a single obstacle/wall/bumper on the entire 18 holes. You can see where the obstacles were, but in their place is a different colored artificial turf. (My guess: because they are always crowded, they wanted to speed up play, which I'm sure this does.) The result is a course that would be fun but instead is the most simple, boring mini golf course I've probably ever played. read more

Coarse Design was nice, customer service was awful! An older lady that worked at the coarse come out on hole 1 it was 9:42 and had a group of 7 nobody in front and nobody behind us. She comes out and says I didn't know you had 7 people i wouldn't have let you go play. She said "you will play my way or you will leave" she also watched us from the window play the first 9 holes. There were 10-15 groups ahead of us playing with more than 4 people. overall awful customer service and we will never return to this place ever again!!!!! Treat customers awfully read more

My husband and I come down to OBX every year, multiple times. Every time we're here we have to mini golf, somewhere. We have selected Mutiny Bay multiple times and have been pleased every single time. COVID related: - There were signed on the doors before you entered the clubhouse, thank you. - There were multi-party rectangles on the floor spaced out inside the clubhouse for larger group games, thank you. - There were free face masks for customers that may need them, thank you! - There were gloves provided to those who wanted to utilize them for their club, thank you! - The employees took COVID seriously yet wanted you to enjoy yourself with your family and friends, thank you! - There were hand sanitizing stations everywhere before the putting greens. Everything was sanitized and prepared for us. Since our previous visit to this location, they had created new and cool signage in pirate lingo pertaining to staying 6 feet apart and giving each other space. We had a great time playing all 18 holes together. We absolutely felt safe and enjoyed our time as a family. Thank you so much for a sanitary, welcoming, and fun environment for our family to relax. This course is very well maintained. Friendly owners. And I loved that you can play as much as you want during the day until 4pm for one price. Although there is some shade and a few areas with a nice cross-wind, it is HOT in the sunlight. Wear your sunscreen! The holes weren't too challenging which is great for a family with younger kids, but if you're looking for more difficulty, this isn't the course for you. Overall, great mini golf. read more

Fun miniature golf course with some pretty challenging holes in a fun pirate-themed environment. As you might expect, it's a popular and busy place during the high season. We were fortunate to get started just before a big rush, so we avoided the lines and were able to play through with few delays. Worth it if you are in the area and looking for a good activity to keep family and kids busy for a couple of hours! The course was nice - 18 holes. Minus the multiple swarms of bugs due to the swamps around the outside of the course, it was maintained well and the setup and holes were fun! They don't seem to do well with large groups however. The lady who seemed to be in charge was stressed out and extremely rude yelling at kids AND some of the adults, accusing people of cheating her when no one was or was even thinking of it, jumping in front of people not letting them walk because she had to count but wouldn't check receipts to prove no one was lying, meanwhile leaving 30+ people in line to pay (most from the same group) Not the best first impression.. If your group is small, this course is good.. I wouldn't suggest bringing large groups. We probably wouldn't come back but we managed to have a fantastic time regardless. Confession: we walked here from the mini golf next door because they wouldn't accept cards. (In 2017 at a tourist business?!) Mutiny Bay was large, reasonably-well maintained and 18 holes long. The cannon sounds and effects were fun, and they take plastic! The price was okay, but you're allowed to play as many rounds as you want! I came here with my fiance (whoah first time typing that one!) & it was both our first times playing on this course. It was a cloudy Tuesday afternoon, so not too busy. You pay when you walk in to the arcade. It was $10 an adult for a round of 18 holes. You could pay extra for 36 holes. They also have other stuff in the park like some trampoline contraption, bumper cars, and go karts. They all seemed fun the little ones. The course is pirate themed with pirate ships, water falls, & plenty of photo opts. I love putt putt & all the cheesiness of the courses. It was challenging enough too have fun too!!
