    Chicken Francese with pasta

Came here for a birthday party and let's just say you go here for the views right on the Great South Bay, not for the food. My chicken francese and pasta were ok, nothing great though. Service was fine, you can tell the people there do really care about hospitality.

Lombardi's is a great place to dine no matter what the occasion. The atmosphere offers a touch of elegance, yet casual atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and accommodating to your dining needs. The portion of food is more than generous and absolutely delicious! Great for special occasions. Weather permitting there is waterfront dining on the patio. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

REALLY overpriced, esp considering the average quality of the food. Pl don't get be wrong - none of the food is bad ! It's just not great, or sublime, but the prices here are basically twice what they would be at a comparable place serving the same food. They are basically charging a 100% premium for the view. If it's worth it to pay double for the view, then by all means - go for it! The entree sizes are also family size (very large) portions, but even so, for the quality of food / ingredients, it does not justify the price. Bright spot - full bar, & the drinks are all reasonably priced, unlike the food. It's also cavernous inside. Good for a wedding I guess, or something like that, but not really an intimate vibe. And vibes are everything !

I loved the ambience, beautiful place. The appetizers were very hood- had clams casino, and mozzarella toast which were little on the greasy side though, I wouldn't recommend those. It was my 60th B'day and the menu had many good items, steak, pasta , fish. Etc. But they did not have Alfredo sauce on any of the items. Which is my favorite! I ended up eating eggplant parmesan, it was good and I had leftovers Next time though I'd ho for drinks and apps

Good. Nice view. Better Italian food out there but also worse. I was with a party of 14 so we had many different dishes. The special of the day was ossobuco with gnocchi and it was delicious. I had the Chilean Seabass, which was amazing. The side pasta dishes that came with it were OK. The cold pasta was OK. The fried calamari were very good.

The restaurant is located on the Great South Bay of Long Island and there is an outside deck that is open in warm weather. The restaurant area is sectioned off from the party room and the wedding reception room. Also there is a smaller, more traditional and intimate bar on the left as you proceed toward the restaurant section. The restaurant section has tables along the outer walls and a huge bar in the middle of the room. The dining area is well appointed with linen table cloths and a full complement of silverware. In essence, everything that you would expect for a fine dining experience. Naturally, the service; my compliments to John our waiter for the evening; was on par with the ambiance of the dining area. In one word, excellent. The table ordered fried calamari and grilled octopus as appetizers. Although wine was ordered, I did not have any, consequently, I cannot attest to the selection. The appetizers were delicious, from the batter of the calamari to the dressing on the octopus, each bite was better than the last. Staying with the fish theme, I ordered the "Stuffed Filet of Sole with Crabmeat" while my wife chose the "Rigatoni with Spinach, Shrimp, and Scallops." Shortly after the clearing of plates from the appetizers, the entrees arrived. The fillet came with a side of penne or salad. I had asked for a substitution but the only other choice of pasta was linguini. I went with the penne. The penne were a bit past 'al dente,' nonetheless, the marinara sauce was excellent. The fillet was moist and delicious. The stuffing was comprised primarily of crab meat and it too was excellent. Finally, for dessert, I ordered chocolate cake with tea. I was a bit disappointed that the water for the tea was not very hot, however, the cake was so good, that it significantly overshadowed the lukewarm tea. The Takeaways 1. Reservations are a MUST. 2. Excellent portion to price 3. Superb service 4. Beautiful decore 5. Parking near the restaurant is small, however, there is a large overflow lot across the street. 6. Expensive but worth every cent. Tips Get an early reservation and it should be possible to sit near a window with a view.

I went here for lunch on a Monday. The place was pretty empty so we went in right away. The place was super cute. Right by the water. Food was good. I ordered from the pre-fixe menu. I ordered stuffed shrimp with crab & spinach. My friend had an amazing beet salad with shrimp. The only thing was that my apple pie should have been warm with the ice cream. The Waiter did offer to warm it after I started to eat it but I declined. I had a good experience and would definitely go back to experience sitting outside.

We started with some oysters, which were the freshest oysters I've ever had. The oyster menu had a good variety of sizes and salinities. The Manhattan clam chowder was SO GOOD. I normally don't approve of soup in the summer but this is a must try no matter what season it is. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share so we could try a little bit of everything. Sicilian calamari was cooked to perfection and perfectly tender. Loved that it was sautéed because it's a little lighter than fried, but I definitely want to try the fried calamari next time we come here. Seared ahi tuna was also some of the best I've ever had. I don't even like swordfish but the blackened swordfish special completely changed my mind. They have different specials every day and I don't think you can really go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is very laid back, and everyone was so friendly. It's family owned and operated, and you can tell they really care. There were lots of regulars, which says a lot. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for food this good. We'll definitely be coming back. Hands down the best oyster bar in Long Island.

All drinks standard or fancy come out cold and tasty to accompany that barside snack or full lunch/dinner meal. Servers don fun T-shirts with catchy sayings buzzing around smiling serving it up. Everytime I have dined here they have been very attentive, sometimes overly, but in good spirits just making sure you have everything you wanted and needed, on top of keeping things neat/clean. This outing was for my Mr's Birthday, so appetizer, entrées and dessert. We started with the Crab Spinach and Artichoke dip with chips as we waited for entrée selections. It was served up creamy in a bread bowl stuffed with crab, spinach and artichoke, super tasty and great start. The Mr ordered up the Crab Stuffed Lobster Tail with a bechamel sauce. Noted the flavors were good, but next time would order bechamel sauce on side so there was more control of it not overwhelming the fresh protein with every initial bite. Mentioned the Roasted Potatoes and Corn that accompanied it were nicely cooked and not overly seasoned. Personally opted to double down on the crab side of things and snagged myself one of their Crab cake sandwiches on a pretzel roll. With each bite you knew the crab cake was freshly made not a frozen premade puck. It easily smashed down quickly with each bite, with good fresh crab flavor, not just breadcrumbs, like you might experience elsewhere ;) Also noted their pretzel bun was soft, airy with good classic pretzel flavor without the hard/tough exterior crunch. Noting that in the past I have also ordered up their fresh Tuna Steak entrée which is also a delicious entrée option. Finished off the meal with a menu fan favorite Chocolate Lava Cake, as my Mr is always hoping for it to truly lava out. Will say Harbor Crab definitely has come the closest in sense of it sorta flowing out when cut into. I assured the birthday boy that he should know the texture, taste were indeed on point, even if it didn't fully lava out ;) All in all another great dining experience at this location as the quality of fresh seafood offerings, service, live music ambiance and atmosphere are on point. Totally understand why this has been a fan favorite for my Mr and others for years. Would highly recommend a visit to any seafood lover.

For my boil I had scallops, head off shrimp, and black mussels in the cajun claws blend medium spice. It also came with corn and baby potatoes. My boil did not have any spice at all. It was quite mild. I was disappointed in this as I was really looking for that spice. There was no oomph! My fiancé said his lobster spaghetti was flavorless; no taste in the sauce at all. His meal also came with shrimp and scallops. The scallops were not whole, they were split in half. For drinks, he ordered "Bikini" which was supposed to be served in a pouch, which it was not. I was dining with my two children, my 11-year-old son and my 4-year-old daughter. During our meal, when our server approached to take drink orders, my four-year-old daughter specifically requested a "blue drink." The server noted this request and subsequently delivered a beverage matching the description. After my daughter had consumed a significant portion of the drink, she commented that it tasted funny. Out of an abundance of caution, I tasted the drink myself and was immediately alarmed to detect the distinct presence of alcohol. I promptly brought this critical issue to the attention of our server, explaining my grave concern that my four-year-old child had been inadvertently served an alcoholic beverage. To my dismay, the server initially dismissed my concerns, asserting that she had personally witnessed the bartender prepare the drink and that it contained no alcohol, further suggesting my daughter could continue consuming it. Given the unmistakable taste of alcohol, I reiterated my certainty and insisted that she re-verify with the bartender, even offering for her to smell the drink herself. It was only after this insistence that she consulted the bartender, who then confirmed that the beverage did indeed contain alcohol. The gravity of this situation rapidly escalated. Due to my daughter's consumption of alcohol and her subsequent physical discomfort, I was compelled to contact emergency services. Both paramedics and law enforcement officers responded to the scene. My daughter was then transported to the hospital, where medical professionals confirmed she was experiencing alcohol intoxication, described as being "tipsy." The incredulity expressed by the attending police officers regarding a four-year-old being in such a state underscored the profound negligence and potential danger of this incident. This experience has left me profoundly shaken and outraged. The fact that a child could be inadvertently served an alcoholic drink in a family restaurant is, in my view, an inexcusable breach of safety protocols and trust. This entire horrifying ordeal was entirely preventable with proper communication, attentiveness, and rigorous adherence to responsible service practices. I am now left with a deep sense of mistrust regarding the safety of beverages served to children, and I urge your establishment to conduct an immediate and thorough review of your procedures to ensure such a catastrophic oversight never occurs again.
