    Custom cake

So talented! AWESOME customer service. This is the second time I've sent a photo request for a custom cake and they exceed my hopes. They're amazing with customer service as well. I love this new spot in my neighborhood!

    Tres leche flan
    Monica L.

The tres leches flan was super super indulgent and satisfying, loved the soft mushy tres leches cake part combined with the custardy part of the flan, and the thick caramel top coating brought it all together! It is a lot for one person, and gets probably too sweet after several bites, but perfect to share with a friend

    Baby shower Tres Leches cake.
    Mark H.

I wanted a Tres Leches baby shower cake for a co-worker. I found Lolly's on the internet. I placed the order with very friendly staff. I let them know it was for a baby shower and wanted blue for a boy. The cake I received was beautiful! Everyone praised the cake. The mother-to-be was very happy. The cake was delicious and enjoyed by all. I would recommend this bakery for the friendly staff, beautiful decorating, and delicious cakes!

    Pan de queso. So good.
    N K.

I live around the corner and love popping into this place. I'm obsessed with the pan the queso (bread in a large donut shape) and the various breads. Sometimes I don't know what I'm getting, but that's part of the fun. The staff is very sweet.

I moved to East Boston about 3 years now. I rarely go out in East Boston but today my roommate recommended me this place. I'm thrilled about it and can't wait to return. 1. This is a small bakery. Because of Covid you may find a short line when you get there. 2. The pastry is inexpensive compare to a lot of bakery places in Boston but the quality is equivalent. You're looking around .50-.60 cents a piece. 3. I personally think this is one of the best bakeries in town considering their price.

Tasty treats at affordable prices. One area of improvement will be to label each item with ingredients and price.

There was some confusion where the line starts inside the cafe. Opted for the croissant breakfast sandwich with a beef patty. The breakfast sandwich was tasty and gigantic. The latte was also tasty too. Came back to try the tiramisu as an afternoon snack and it wasn't super fresh. It was decent, although on the pricier side at $7.50 each. The meal options are all on laminated pages instead of on a big board, but they did have a lot of good options. We started with regular drip coffee which was ready quickly and we could sweeten to our liking. We tried the house breakfast which was two eggs any style (got them fluffy and scrambled), crispy bacon, cheesy potato fritters with tomato jam (similar to ketchup), and sourdough bread (we asked for butter) it was all very filling and some nice spins on a traditional breakfast. The bakery selection is out of this world - from breakfast pastries to delicately crafted desserts. The cinnamon and pecan rose was just like the center of a cinnamon bun, which was fantastic. It was big enough for two people to indulge without overdoing it. There weren't a lot of outlets, so not ideal for long term laptop use, but the food came quickly, it wasn't too loud even with a ton of people coming in and out. The prices were reasonable, and everything tasted amazing.

Overall the food is not the best in Boston but I have enjoyed the food at Anoushella, Far out ice cream, and Union Square donuts. Whether it's day time or night - summer is here and it's all happening at Time Out! This evening we came around 7 for the movie night and actually caught the last and most exciting nail biting finish of the Paraguay- Germany matchup!! After that was the movie - 'She's the Man' - very appropriate soccer movie! It was a fun rom-com and the whole crowd enjoyed it! And then afterwards was the next match! Beautiful evening- I'm sitting here on a blanket on the grass as I'm writing this. Cool evening perfect temps tonight - enjoying this very much! They're also showing the match inside. It's nice because you can get food from inside and there are restrooms. So it's all very convenient and what a great location! Looking forward to many more fun summer activities here at Time Out! So glad they stayed open!
