I am told that Stowaway Sweets has good Products, having never been in. I tried to go yesterday,…read morebut with my 12 pound Gorilla of A SERVICE DOG and I were not allowed to enter by the husband and Wife Owners. So, I cannot speak on their product, which I never will try now, but I will address, and, I want everyone to consider Stowaway's lack of ethical standards and lack of personal integrity, which, at this juncture, is as relative to their chocolate products, as it is to their overall brand.
Think about this for a second. I am handicapped, not their fault, nor mine. SH_T happens in life. I have a handicap that you don't want, I assure you. Obviously either do the people who own this shop. I am covered by the ADA, as are millions of other people in this country. It allows me to lead a life, with help, in, hopefully with a little respect from others.
So, Mr. and Mrs. Stowaway have shown their true colors to their customer base through the way they are as humans, by not allowing a Handicapped person in their store. My law, I am entitled to go into their store, and, they can only ask 2 questions of me. 1. What kind of Dog is that......SERVICE. 2. What service does the dog do for you, and I have to answer that also. Then I am suppose to be let in. They, on the other hand, harped on seeing my papers. Yes, I always carry them with me, but asking to see them to enter is what is called.....ILLEGAL. It's a NO! NO! So, not only do they not know the law, but, as a shop owner, they are without a CLUE!
So, thank you for taking your time to read this expose, but, someone has to tell the truth, and, yes, someone has to go and call them on the rug. Whether the quality of their product outweighs their integrity and honesty is your call!
