New management is horrible and lacks customer service values. The new owner was literally yelling at me when I asked him why they only support their work and product for 30 days. BEWARE of this new owner, 30 days only is the warranty if it breaks you have to pay full price to get it repaired again. He tried to say my tenant was abusive to the lock using it every day. It's unfortunate Randy is gone, he had such a good business and customer service ethic. I asked them for their services and is the weirdest thing the way they handle to send you a locksmith. Dispatch calls you first and sound super polite and reliable. Then when the locksmith contacts you is another person. Asked for an estimate and dispatcher said the locksmith needs to see the lock first . Once the locksmith got to my place to help me open my door , he checked the lock and told me 290 for picking or plus 300 with the other method. He wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing and told me infront of my neighbor and my friend that he needed to brake the lock and add a new one with a cost of over 400 dls in total . I was overly exhausted from work and all the crazy day I had after I lost my keys and started feeling weird after another locksmith called me in front of him and he got aggressive and told me to hang up and aggressive also with my neighbor for asking questions . People like this shouldn't be able to provide a service we are the customers and we should be treated with respect and patience . I asked him to leave because I didn't want to have his bad energy and rudeness around any longer. After I contacted them and explained what happened they never responded me back . I had the WORST experience with this company. I called at 11:30am asking if they had a new key fob for my car and they assured me they did and that they could cut it and program it all for $190. They told me that the guy would come out between 2-3pm so I said ok. I didn't mind waiting. Time went by and it turned 4:00 so I called to check in. She said she'd call the driver then call me right back. Another hour passed. 5:00pm. No response so I call again to check in. She gives me the same response. She'll check with the driver and then call me back in 10 min so I tell her I need to leave so if she could call me back because I already canceled plans and had that same response last time I called so she said she would. 30 min later she calls back and tells me that the driver will come between 7-8pm....from 2-3pm to 7-8pm. I'm pretty flexible and understanding, but that's quite a jump. I told her ok but I'd need to change location because I needed to leave. She said that was fine so then the guy shows up at 7:15. I'm ready to just get my key fixed. He takes my key and goes in his van and is about to cut a new key when I realize it's not a key fob. I asked him, "wait, a key fob right?" He says no. No one told him that and he doesn't know if he has one and would cost a lot more than $190. He checked and sure enough he didn't. I only needed the key with the fob so he just left and I spent all day waiting for a service I never received. Waste of time and canceled plans. Don't waste your time with this company. read more

This company is under new ownership as of about February 2019. The sign out front say AAA but the piece of paper on the door shows another name ("Locksmith on Wheels"?) The old owner was great - very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I cannot say the same for the new owner. Today, I brought 2 Ford knock off keys to be cut. Shame on me for not asking my cost for the 5 minutes of work required to cut them using a standard key cutter - $20 a piece!! The old owner would have charged me $% - $8 a piece. Buyer BEWARE! I have not checked the keys to see if they work. I will be taking them back if they don't unlock the ignition. read more

Mark and his team were initially a referral from a door sales company when our front door lock broke. They made recommendations on new hardware, took care of the ordering of the needed parts, kept me apprised of delays in receiving parts, and was easy to work with in coordinating a date for installation of the new lockset. Even though they ran into issues with the installation, they took the extra care to do the job correctly. We couldn't be happier with the work they did. We had an issue with the same lockset just this past week that required we get them to come back out and provide a repair. Mark responded promptly on the weekend and we had an appointment set up for the next business day. The tech again was prompt and took the extra time to repair the lock correctly. Got a call from Mark to follow up on my review and worked through some issues on how to improve service. He agreed to install the smart lock (the one I wanted in the first place, so I bough my own to be installed). Mark kept me informed about his ETA and showed up as said. First, This time I forgot my set of keys for the home (I was in mad rush that evening) so he picked the older door lock and he installed the smart lock on another door for me, while he was here with me I had asked him if he would replace the mailbox lock (which I've been meaning to replace for a while). All in all it was a total of $255 for picking an old lock (Now I have to replace it as well...after I saw him pick it in less than 30secs), install new smart lock and replace mailbox key. What I can say for sure is that he'll show up on time and will do the job at hand... ================== Last Experience.... Mark was prompt and did the work ok, if I wasn't pressed for time I wouldn't have hired him. I was in a rush get my new home secure before I head out on a long trip. Does the job ok but extremely expensive, cost of rekeying (Not replacing locks) 2 doors is ~$300. My advice is to shop around or better yet watch a few YouTube videos and DYI for fraction of the cost. I did not have this much disappointment even in the home purchase process compared to changing locks (rekeying existing locks). What really pissed me off is he offered schlage coded key for nearly twice the price compared to Home Depot and installation charges ($150 - $165) on top of it. Luckily I have been shopping for same lock so I knew the BS price he blurted out at that point I want him off my property... I understand situations where locksmith can make you feel like "good sent" most of the time they are...but Mark it shouldn't have to cost you arm and a leg (relatively speaking). He's not the first locksmith I've dealt with but he's the one to stay away from. I took almost a month before I decided to review him and even now my blood boils just thinking of the experience... On 2/15/2021 (Presidents' Day, a holiday) at 5pm, we had a situation. A lost wallet, including a drivers license with our home address on it, and a copy of our home front door key in it. At 5:10p I called Locksmith on Wheels. I spoke with the dispatcher and they said they would have the locksmith call me to let me know when he would be arriving. Ruben called me at 5:25p, advising he was now going to a job in Dublin, then he'd come to us. At 7:15 Ruben arrived. He was done at 7:40p. Incredible, fast service on a national holiday! It was easy to communicate with Sam through text messages and he was quite prompt. During the appointment he even advised on which all locks should have the same or different keys, and was quick during the job.
