I am extremely happy with my experience getting a car key duplicated from Marko with All Locks And Doors! Marko picked up my call right away and met me in Livermore within an hour. He already had the right sized blank key in stock & was able to duplicate my key in less than 10 minutes. He was very time -efficient, friendly and professional! Marko was able to make a spare key for my Honda for an excellent price. He double checked to make sure it worked & was able to take payment on my debit card. The lock on my front door stopped working 80% of the time. It was getting really annoying to always go through the back or garage. A friend recommended Marco at All Locks and Doors so I called him first. He came out within 24 hours and assessed my door lock. It was the "builder special" handle and I didn't want the same thing. Marco took the measurements and photos and told me he would call me within the next day or two with a handle that would look nice and fit where the old handle was. I really didn't think anything would work and that we were going to have to buy a new door. He found options in various price points for me to choose from. I made the decision and when it came in he installed it immediately. His attention to detail is excellent and so his his follow through and promptness. The problem with double front doors is that they can occasionally get out of alignment and stop latching correctly leaving your front door open to anyone if your not aware. One call to door expert, Marko, at All Locks and Doors in Livermore is all it took to resolve the issue. He was in the field working but he immediately had his administrative person e-mail me to schedule an appointment. I called her and we quickly found an opening in Marko's schedule that we could accommodate. All Locks & Doors again provided me with excellent customer service, diagnosed the issue and shimmed the top of the right door to re-align the latch & lock properly. It also eliminated a gap that we had observed between the bottom of the door rubber and the bottom door jam. There was a communication gap on pricing between what he said and did not say and what we understood. He did clarify the issue on arrival and was willing to split the difference citing shared responsibility for the issue. I was fine with it. It was a good decision as he was extremely good at his job and addressed the problem and made some recommendations. I lost my key fob for my push start vehicle. So i called to ask about a car key fob replacement, they gave me a quote for JUST THE KEY at $280. I told them I needed it to be programmed to my car otherwise the key is useless, obviously, and they guy took about 15 minutes to call me back with an estimate of $800..... Thats $300 more than going straight to the dealership. He was prompt to call me back and seemed generally helpful but his prices are sky high. literally called 12 locksmiths and this was the most ridiculous quote ive ever heard in my life. I went with B & B Locksmiths. they service the bay area and the guy was able to meet me within the hour at my car location, reprogrammed my car with a new key for $250. read more

Even though we were out of their residential service area, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone provided amazing customer service. He let me know straight out that we were not in their service area, and although they would be willing to come out, they would have to charge a significant fee--probably more than we wanted to pay. Honesty like that is important! He also spent several minutes of his time providing me with recommendations of where to look for another company closer to me, and what red flags to watch out for to avoid scams. He was also willing to give me a diagnosis of what he thought our problem was, and let me know that he thought it could be repaired instead of replaced. All of this for someone who he knew was not likely to become a customer. He was clear, professional, trustworthy, honest, and knowledgeable.
