A few highlights: Brandon was fantastic to work with--professional, patient, and always willing to answer every question to make sure I felt confident throughout the process. He even made extra trips to my home to drop off and pick up gutter and shingle samples so we could choose the perfect colors. Brandon also kept me consistently updated on progress and what to expect at each stage, which I truly appreciated. I especially appreciated how quickly and thoughtfully the team responded when the weather changed unexpectedly. Even the owner, Ryan, came out to my home--along with Brandon and the crew--to stay late and make sure protective underlayment was fully installed before the rain started. Their urgency and care gave me tremendous peace of mind. The crew--Christian, Ricardo, and Eddie--did an excellent job with the daily cleanup. I didn't find a single nail or piece of metal on my driveway, the street, or in my backyard after they were done each day. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They completed the entire project in just four days, and the city inspection passed with no issues.

I…read morecalled 3 highly reviewed roofing companies in the Bay Area. 2 came out and gave me quotes, 1 no showed. Out of the 2 that came out, I choose to go forward with Apollo Roofing. I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

They appear to have done a great job on a small to moderate roof repair from a leaking easement on my home. They were very responsive from the Yelp inquiry and sent out someone a day or two later who seemed experienced and forthright (Dario). He was able to immediately diagnose the source of my water entry (something another company had missed or tried to upsell on diagnosing it a different way). He was willing to walk me through what he was seeing on the roof and also took photos clearly showing the issue. While he was up there, I brought two other minor issues I'd been meaning to take care of and he was happy to take photos and add them to the quote (cracked vent seal and small area of entry into the attic). They put together a formal quote and proposal within a few days and I was able to talk with one of the owners (Jason) on the phone to discuss the questions I had. He was willing to work with me on alternative (less expensive) options on one of the repairs I was requesting and walked me through the pros/cons. Felt like he really understood what I was looking for and took the time with me, even though I know it was a small repair for them. They completed the work in one day, within a week of deciding to move forward. Payment was easy and online with an immediate receipt. Price seemed fair --- bay area expensive, but worth not doing the work myself for this situation. I'd look to them first for any future work.

I reached out to several roofers on Yelp for quotes and sent a picture. Tom from Roof-Life Construction responded back shortly. I called him Friday morning his son, Max, came out a few hours later. Max came out, hopped up on the roof, and found a few slipped and cracked tiles. He actually showed me photos of the underlayment, which was looking pretty rough and worn out. He even sealed a few spots on the spot just to hold me over, which I really appreciated. The quote was very fair and reasonable, so we went for it. His crew showed up early the next morning and knocked out the repairs and new underlayment in about two and a half hours. They were total pros, very thorough, and showed me some before-and-after pics so I could see exactly what they did. All in all a great job! and very professional. I'm very thankful his team was able to come out on short notice and fix my roof before the rain a few days later. I highly recommend Roof-Life Construction for any roof related work!!

I asked for a quote on a roof leak, and the friendly owner, Gavin, was able to fit me in surprisingly soon, even though the rainy season had started. He was nice enough to squeeze me in just before a nearby job. Within just a few minutes, Gavin had determined the cause of my roof leak. I showed him where in the house it was leaking, and he made a few measurements. Then, to the roof. Whilst he was on the roof, he took a photo of the problem so he could show me when he returned to Earth. He showed me where a pipe collar had become worn, and was letting the rain seep in. In just a few minutes the entire thing was fixed. Gavin made it look simple, but it's really due to his experience. And now, the rest of the story: While Gavin was up on the roof, he noticed one gutter was completely clogged up. It was so clogged, I could have grown trees in the rain gutter. Anyway, while he was up there he cleaned it out totally for me. The gutters work fantastic now. That saved me from having to call someone to clean out the gutter. That's what I call great service! Next year, I'm going to make up some bogus roof leak story so I can trick Gavin to clean out all my rain gutters.

We wanted to replace all our original 1960s-era single-pane windows with double-pane windows. We…read morealso wanted a storm door for our front door. We got an estimate from Andersen (less the storm door). Their products and installation method were top-notch, but so was their estimated price! So we wanted something more economical. After some research we heard Milgard windows using an "retrofit" installation would be more in our price range. We also wanted a window/door-installation company that gave us a good price estimate (1/3 the cost of Andersen), was in our locale (Tri-Valley) , and had 5-star rating already. So we were happy to find Cal Coast that met those criteria. The initial estimate process was straightforward. Our estimator was friendly and efficient. The format of the estimate came in digital PDF format. It was easy to print, and the details and layout were very helpful with diagrams of what the windows and door would look like with dimensions. One measurement for one window was slightly off. I mentioned that to my estimator. He assured me that was not a problem because if I accepted their estimate, then the next step was for another technician would come out to the house to re-measure the windows more accurately and in more detail. We did accept the estimate, and indeed another technician came out to do detailed measurements. Then we received a revised and more detailed contract in that same great layout! The estimator kindly set our expectations that our windows and door were going to take 5-6 weeks to custom manufacture and about 1 to 2 days to install. Those timings were right on target, which helped us in planning other events in our life. Installation only took 1 day! The crew was great - courteous, hard working, and efficient. They put foam insulation in the space between our window frames and the new windows. The caulking work was professional. I was pleased. And the crew cleaned up after themselves perfectly. Another thing I was pleased with was Cal Coast's production manager helped me apply and get my city building permit for the new windows. The day of installation, the foreman handed me a nice folder with the printed permit with other instructions. I really appreciated that. Also after installation she worked with my city building department to schedule a final inspection by a city inspector. When the inspector came out, because the product and installation were superb, it passed with no problem. Of course, I paid a little more to have this permit processing service, but it was well worth it. Finally, as you can tell from this rather long review, I'm very pleased with our experience with Cal Coast and the Milgard products. I add my 5-star review to others that have gone before me for Cal Coast!
