Very quick response, super efficient, knew what he was doing, will definitely use Dom again for future projects.

D. does good work. Very skilled, fast, knows how to plan a project . But he overcharges.

Dominic did a great job installing a new cat door, repairing our sliding glass door and other miscellaneous work. The cat door was a little tricky since he had to move the electrical outlet a few inches. He works efficiently and explains how and what he is going to do. He drives a cool truck with all the tools and hardware that he needs. We've used Dominic's services the last few years. Highly recommend! read more

Dominic is hands down very responsive and one of the most reliable handyman in the Tri-Valley area.

The base of the undersink cabinet in my kitchen had suffered some water damage. I had called around and texted pictures of the situation to a few outfits and they all said "No way". I gave All American Handyman a call and they were willing to take the job. Dominic and Kenny came out and took a look. They were cheerful and positive. I was appreciative of this, because the house had suffered a lot of damage and I was starting to get the blues after going through the repair process. They told me they'd be able to fix it and that they'd give me a call when they were about done. They were true to their word - they gave me a call, I went back, and they were wrapping everything up. I know that it must have been a pretty messy job, what with the wood dust, drilling, nailing, etc... but everything was left clean and operational when they were done. They cut out the damaged section of the cabinet and affixed fresh wood in place of the old wood. Highly recommended! read more

Great company. Chris always gets right back to me. He and Anthony have helped us with the little things and the big things. From fixing a leak to replacing my water heater. My go to fixers. read more

Dominic did an awesome job on the few things that needed work. He was friendly, well priced and responsive. None of the other handymen we called even bothered calling back or scheduled a time to come out and appraise the job. We will definitely be using him in the future for odd jobs around the house. read more

Dom was referred to us by a friend and he was able to come help us the same day we called him. Not only was he very friendly and professional but he was able to troubleshoot an issue with our fan install, and complete the job with ease. I will be recommending this company to all my friends and family. Thanks again Dom. read more

Dominic removed a cat door that was built into the wall of my Sons bedroom in a used townhouse he bought. He did an excellent job! Would never know it existed after the work. Only problem with Dominic is if he doesn't think you need a job done ( or maybe doesnt know how to do it) he will just not give you an estimate or talk you out of it. Great at drywall and paint and friendly! read more

I inquired with Dominic about some work that needed to be done. I sent an email to him on a Saturday, which he responded to fairly quickly. He said he would call me to discuss the work. I didn't expect him to call on Sunday since it was the weekend, but did expect a call on Monday. I followed-up with an email on Monday COB, no response. The next day, Tuesday, he finally called and apologized for not calling me because he was "very busy." He said he would be able to swing by later that day since he would be in my area. I was not available, so we agreed he would come by on Thursday. My plans changed for Tuesday afternoon, so I immediately called him and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message and said if he was still in the area, to swing by. NO RESPONSE. Thursday came and went. He did not call, email, or even show up to my home to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done. If he was too busy to take on any more jobs, he should've said so. Lack of communication and a no show is a black mark on my book! read more

So once again Yelp reviews help me find a great service! This review for Domenic @ All American starts where my excellent experience with Advanced Plumbing ended. After Advanced Plumbing sealed the leak, I was left with a 6"X18" gaping hole in my living room/kitchen ceiling. That's where thanks to the Yelp reviews I got in touch with Domenic. He was easy to get hold of, very personable, quickly set an appointment to give me a quote, which I felt was very reasonable. He set the appointment to fix the ceiling the very next day! He did an excellent job covering up the eating area & worked diligently for almost 4 hours to sheet rock, spackle, sand, paint & finish the ceiling. Take a look at the attached pics....he did an incredible job in matching the textured paint. I highly recommend Domenic at All American & will soon be using him for 2 more projects (new baseboard & painting a room)! read more

This is the first time I have hired a handyman, and I feel compelled to provide feedback on my experience with "All American Handyman ". I called Domenic (owner) and talked about some of the work I needed completed in order to sell our home. What I heard was a confident, pleasant, and polite person telling me he could complete my long work list with no difficulties. Domenic arrived at my home with his assistant the next day. He had my list of work, put shoe covers on, and got to work. Everything on my list was completed/fixed perfectly! There were even a few extra items he noticed needed fixing and he just did it. I am very pleased with his work and attitude. Domenic is friendly and knowledgeable. I will certainly call Domenic if I need work done around the house again. Thank you Domenic and Ken for a pleasant attitude and excellent work. read more

Domenic and Kenny came out to my house and fixed a couple of lighting and cabinet issues. They did a great job and even had some ideas on improving my current kitchen lighting. I would highly recommend them! read more

I hired Dom to do repairs in my kitchen of which half was completely damaged from a leaky pipe. Dom was responsive and patient with all my questions about cost, material, and timeline. The scope of work included fixing cabinets, plumbing, drywall (pretty much a complete kitchen renovation of half of my kitchen). He brought in Kenny the day they started the repairs and both did an amazing job! I'm extremely happy with the outcome! My kitchen was only half gutted so some of the repairs were very tricky, like taking new cabinet frames and mounting pre-existing cabinet doors. They engineered solutions to fix them and the pieces come together seamlessly. I'm so grateful for their attention to detail and quality of work. A+ customer service from beginning to end! read more

Dominic has been a godsend handyman for work that needed to be done around the house in order to get it on the market. He was friendly, knew what he was doing and responsive when I needed him to come back and fix some things that needed attention. Was very pleased with his and his partner's work as everything looked as good as new. I would hire him again, only if he lived close by!! read more

Read the reviews on Yelp so thought I would try the services. Dominic was great in getting back to me and fitting us into his schedule. We had small-scale house projects such as hanging heavy pictures, fixing toilet fill valves, fixing gaps and light wiring. Dominic and his work partner got to work right away, even did the trip to Lowe's to get parts needed and completed the job to great satisfaction. I highly recommend All America Handyman for projects small scale or larger as they cover a range of skills and project sizes. read more

I called this guy and was frustrated right from the start. He would not come out and give an estimate in person. He said gas prices were too high and if I could just send him a pic instead. I kept getting the run around. Whatever happened to customer service????? 1 star rating for you which means - Eek! Methinksnot. read more

If I could give Domenic and Kenny 6 stars I would. If you need handyman services look no further. They do wonderful quality work at reasonable costs. I had light plumbing/electrical and dry wall work and all was completed to 100% of satisfaction. The best Handyman ever! You won't be disappointed. read more

Dom is the BEST handyman around. We refer all of our clients to him (Real Estate). He also helps us with our own handyman needs. Everyone speaks very highly of him and his work. He has the best attitude and always has a smile on his face. Thanks for everything Dom! read more

I called Domenic based on the review I read here and was very impressed. He was very honest with me regarding the job I was considering and suggested a better way for me to it. We spent about 45 minutes talking about the different options and ways to do it. I may end up not doing it at all as it may not benefit us much due to the age of the house and it being a rental. I did not feel pressured or pushed to do something I did not want to do! I will DEFINITELY call Dom again when I need to have any work done! He is a great guy and I look forward to having him work on my home in the future! Thanks Again!! read more

Just moved and had many issues. Couldn't get in my front door because outside latch was broken. Doorbell did not work. Dishwasher was tipping over, not anchored. Dryer outlet was wrong. Et cetera. Dom is the best handy man in the area. I have worked with quite a few. They are either always late, leave a job unfinished to do some other work at another client or do a mediocre job. Dom didn't do any of that . He was professional, on time and did a fantastic job I will be calling him again read more

We had a fairly long list of items including plumbing, drywall, electrical, garage door openers, etc. Dom and his crew ROCKED it! They were a pleasure to work with. Clear and fair in their estimates. No hidden or last minute costs - except for the ones we added. Patient in answering all of our questions. Flexible when items were more complex than initially expected. Paid attention to detail and getting the job done correctly. I'll work with these guys again in a heartbeat! read more

Quick response, no nonsense pricing, great water heater install. Todd was informative, timely, and very efficient. Unit broke at night, Todd had new one operational by mid next day. Website a bit confusing about contact but he and his company are worth pursuing. Would use him again without hesitation. read more

Domenic is a fantastic handyman. My realtor sent out a different handyman to do some tasks around my house to get the place ready for sale. Most worrisome was a built-in master bath tub which had a small leak and a loose faucet. My realtor's handyman said it was impossible to get to the hardware to treat the leak or to tighten the faucet. So, I called Dom. He and his assistant came in and, with a great deal of persistence, fixed both well. All at a surprising low low fee. Dom has been out to my house before, fixing a kitchen hood light, pathway lights and gates. I'm moving out of the area in a few weeks. It's a bummer that I can't take Dom with us! Call Dom and know you're getting an expert repair man who also is a good person. Thanks again Dom. read more

Dominic can fix anything around the house. My husband has had neck and back surgeries and is no longer able to do all of the necessary ongoing repairs, etc. around the house. Dominic always responds quickly to my requests and does an excellent job on the repairs. He has a partner named Kenny that is also fantastic. Dominic is my go to handyman for sure! read more

I have never felt more taken advantage of in my life. I texted Dom the week before we were to meet, asking what his hourly rate was. He said he doesn't charge by the hour, but by the job. Seemed weird, but I put my trust in him based off these reviews. We were scheduled to meet at 11 am, and he texted that he would be a little bit late. When he arrived, I asked him and his associate to fix a flush light in the bathroom, an under the cabinet kitchen light, a dimmer switch in the dining room, two outlet plates, install a closet runner, and the lock on the sliding glass door. Pretty standard stuff. He had to make a run to Home Depot, which I have asked many handymen to do. I also asked him to keep the receipt for me, and he said he would not give me the receipt, that it was for him, but I could take a picture of it. This is also not what I've experienced with working with probably six different handymen. I made a second run to Ace Hardware for two other items. He finished everything at 2 pm. He gave me the receipt to take a picture of it, and informed me that there was an item on it that wasn't for me, but for him. I said that he should know better than to mix a customers parts with his own on a purchase, and he said he does it all the time, that he works with lots of realtors and does it this way all the time. I then asked what was the charge for his labor and he said $400!!! He was there for two and a half hours, 11:30 am - 2 pm!! I said that I pay handymen $50/hour and he responded that they don't know what they are doing. Then he started rattling off all he had done at the house - regardless, he was there for 2.5 hours. He brought the total down to $400 for parts and labor, which is still outrageous. While he was at my house, I had a realtor friend come by and Dom had given her his contact information. I called the realtor immediately to inform her not to use Dom, that the entire exchange felt like a scam, and he didn't give me any kind of receipt for parts OR the $400 labor. Please save your money. As I said, I've worked with probably six other handymen and have never experienced anything near the level of advantage that this gentlemen showed me today. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Preparing my home for sale and needed several small jobs done to put everything ship shape. Domenic was a godsend! He is personable, yet professional. I was amazed at how much was accomplished in just one day! Would give him 10 stars if I could! read more

Domenic is fantastic! If you're looking for a reliable, affordable and professional handyman he's the one to call. I was working within a tight timeframe to put a condo on the market. Dom responded to my phone call immediately and was able to fit me in within a few days. Not only did he repair all items on the list, i.e. shower head, electrical outlets, doors not closing properly, he repaired items that he found along the way. He is beyond thorough. I know looking for the right person is daunting, you never know if your going to get some smoke laden, high cost repairman, but Dom is nothing but professional. You can't go wrong if you give him a call. read more

We needed 40 feet of new baseboards installed, Dom returned my call the same day, scheduled the install for the following week, showed up on time and went right to work and completed by the time he said he would. It doesn't get any better than that. Dom will do all of my handy work. read more

Dom has been great to work with. We got his name from our real estate agent, because we're new to the area, and he was easy to work with and was able to complete our work in a timely fashion. He even went out of his way to get items that match our house decor and is ordering a piece online to ensure our house is fixed up just right. We will certainly use him in the future when we need a handyman, since we're NOT at all handy. Thanks, Dom! read more

Dominic, All American Handyman, did an incredible job working on eight different items in my house. He takes great pride in getting it right the first time. He was meticulous with each job being careful to not disturb any other part of the house as he did his work. He gave me a quote prior to beginning the work detailing each job and cost to do the work. He is fair and reasonable in what he charges. Plus his work is guaranteed for thirty days. Honestly he can do everything and anything. He replaced the kitchen faucet, repaired a broken leg on the dining room table, put fresh caulk on all the sinks and bathtubs, repaired a patch in the ceiling, re-installed shower doors and replaced a chipped tile on the counter top. Bottom line he is awesome! read more
