Roman came by to install a kitchen faucet. We were the last one of the day, and it took him probably 20 minutes tops to get our new faucet in and replaced. We had gone through Home Depot, and they sub-contract to URV Projects - but they were so quick and had good reviews so I thought that I would also put in a good word for them too. I appreciate that Roman could install so quickly and get it done in an efficient manner. He ever checked the water pressure and adjusted the aerator to make sure that it was maximized. I had also asked him around an estimate around some valve work, which they provided in a couple days. Definitely seems like they provide a great service, and seem fair. Had URV come out to give me a quote on a fridge niche as the copper pipe was coming out of the ground and hitting the fridge. I got multiple bids from other plumbers in the 1000 range. Darik came out and thought of the very ingenious idea of running a flexible line and tucking the copper pipe to clear the fridge! Saved me a lot of money and time. I found this company by requesting a price quote for a different plumber via the Yelp price quote function. URV was one of the companies that responded really quickly and gave a super reasonable price quote. In addition, he came out on a Sunday morning, which was amazing as we had water coming out of our shower drain from a clog in the system. Roman tested all the other faucets and toilets and pinpointed the likely area of concern and then snaked away. He ultimately had to remove our toilet and snake that area too, probably at least 6-8 times! He wore a mask and gloves and put on booties when he came into my home. Baatr arrived forty minutes later. Unfortunately, the snake he brought was not long enough, so the pipe was not successfully unclogged that day. He promised to come back and help me the next morning. He came over with his boss the next day, helped me solve the problem within two hours, confirmed that there was no leakage, helped clean up and promised a 30-day warranty. Wow what great service on our new toilet installation from URV projects and especially excellent work from URV's plumber "Bair"!!! Bair was a craftsman. He did an excellent job installing the toilet. He worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. We have not seen another plumber take the care and the attention that Bair took. Bair vacuumed out the water from the old toilet, meticulously cleaned around the old toilet leaving no debris like a surgeon, and then, again, meticulously installed the new toilet leveling and shimming the new toilet so it would not move. No other plumber has taken the care and attention to detail that Bair took. Best of all the new toilet looks and operates better than what we expected. URV Projects did fantastic on two plumbing jobs I had. Roman, the repairman, stopped my one toilet from leaking when flushed, a simple repair that took time to find. Works great now! And I needed the J part of the sink drain back together again after I had dropped a small diamond earring down the drain in error. I took all the plumbing apart, went through the stuck hair and soap mush carefully and I did find it. Only problem, I could not remember how to put the piping back together again. Roman was able to get it back together in no time. One thing I did forget is the pipe adhesive. Leave it to the experts!! The price was less expensive than my Home Warranty who refused to do the job. I liked that he was quick to respond, no nonsense quote and explained the warranty period that was associated with it. Initially they made a mistake thinking my water heater did not come with any anode rod. They showed me the diagram which allegedly shows the lack of an anode rod, then proceeded to charge me the fee for only flushing the tank (which technically I had not agreed to because I had assumed there would be an anode replacement, and there were much cheaper plumbers for the flushing service). After they left I did some more research confirming my water tank does in fact have an anode rod. I then messaged them and showed them this info. They agreed to come back and perform the agreed anode replacement at no extra charge; I would only need to pay the difference between what I'd already paid and the previous agreed price for anode replacement. This was very nice and professional on their part and I was left with a very positive experience. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is if they'd done it right in the beginning it would've saved both parties a lot of time; also, if I hadn't done the extra research, they would've done the wrong service and given wrong info about my water heater and no one would've known. I found URV Projects Plumbing Service on Yelp and I am extremely happy and satisfied. What impressed me about Roman his professionalism, patience, and honesty from start to finish. I would highly recommend Roman and I plan to make him my permanent plumber. Roman was fast to respond to my call. I needed to remove the old hot water heater that was leaking in order to determine if there was damage to the platform below. Roman drained the hot water heater and removed it off the platform for me. I took it from there and dried out the platform and better reinforced it with 2x6 pieces of wood and other boards in preparation for possibly a heavier hot water heater. I had purchased a cut piece of 3/4 plywood that was cut to 32 x 32 to install for the top where the new hot water heater would be placed. Roman was kind enough to trim it down a few inches and nail it to the platform. He installed the hot water heater and got me working in a jiffy. I really appreciated the thorough installation. I had a lot of complications due to having to order a special 75 gal, Nat. Gas. Bradford White hot water heater online that did not require 110-volt power. The first shipment was damaged and I refused it. The 2nd shipment was damaged too, but Roman made me feel confident that the dents and nicks were cosmetic. After talking to the hot water heater supplier and arriving at an amicable discount for the dents Roman completed the installation. I love the fact that he brought everything up to code for 2021. Roman positioned the hot water heater in a manner that the imperfections did not show. The hot water heater looks great with all of the new safety features. Roman even installed a little PVC pipe to the protective pan that would drain into a bucket sitting adjacent to the platform, in the event of a leak. That was a little extra that I really appreciated. I bought my house new in 1989 and my last Rheem hot water heater lasted ~ 33 years. I doubt that I will be that fortunate again, however, I can at least hope that this new Bradford White 75 gal Nat. Gas. hot water heater will last my lifetime in this house before I sell it. I feel confident that the work that was performed will hold up for that opportunity. read more

I found this company to be extremely responsible and the communication was off the charts good. My tech who came out to help with power clean backing up into the garage basin. It was a very sincere attempt. Roman worked very diligently to unclog the pipes but unfortunately after his time here, I had to call in rotor rooter. Roman had only a 25 foot maximum length tool and I had to pay a fortune to rotor router because he brought a 50 footer. He was able to unclog the system but I can't give Roman and his company a five star because their tool wasn't long enough but I did appreciate the quick response and willingness to give it your best shot. Just as a caveat, if you call out rotor rooter get a quotation first because it cost before hundred dollars for the first hour and I'll never use them again. read more

Great work installing two fire escape ladders in our upstairs bedrooms. One fire escape required some extra patch work due to a wire hidden in the wall. The patch work is solid, and will hardly be noticable once I get some touch up paint on it. I will also need to touch up the caulk on a few corners where there are gaps, but that's very easily done. Roman was very communicative via Yelp, and was able to get the work done the day after I first contacted him. He texted when he was on his way, arrived right on time, had booties to put over his shoes to keep our carpet clean, and emailed an invoice after the work was completed. Very polite. Update: When I realized that the ladders had been installed backwards (pretty easy to do, the installation instructions were confusing), I messaged Roman, and he came back the same day to fix it. The service person snaked the toilet multiple times with and old rusted snaking tool which damaged the bowl with metal scratches. The company tried to pushed back saying those can be "cleaned" by just normal cleaning and dismissed that those were damages caused from their end. read more

This is actually the 2nd time I've used Roman, so that alone validates that I am a repeat customer. My first project was to cut around 20 pieces of Race Deck flooring in my garage. I believe I selected 10 businesses to respond to my project, and Roman's quote was so much more competitive than the rest of the pack. We agreed on a price, a date and time, and he showed up on time and executed the project flawlessly. We had an odd odor under our bathroom sink and we called this company out. They were nice and professional. They said they would have to do a smoke sewer test to figure out what the problem was and would charge $399 (plus fees). We agreed and they did the test. However, after the test, they said they couldn't identify the problem and I had to call someone else. I paid them and called another company. The new company came in and replaced the pipes under the sink and the smell went away. I feel like this company should have told me that they actually may not be able to identify the problem in the beginning and we would not have done the smoke sewer test.
