I had a shower nozzle that was broken and my wife started using pliers to turn on and off. The next morning I saw the garage was flooded and a wet spot on the ceiling. I immediately turned off the water main, and did a yelp search. I gave them a call and sent pictures. I had an appointment for 12-2 window. They showed just before 12. Indeed, my shower parts needed replacing but they also determined that the leaking from the ceiling in the garage was from a water heater pipe spraying water on the ceiling making it look like that. They fixed the shower situation, replaced my old water heater on the spot. The price was very reasonable, i didn't want to buy into a water heater plan, just give me close to whatever I had. Amazing what those 2 did in such a short time. They know what they're doing and how to price the services such that you don't have to shop around. That was what I experienced. read more

Outstanding service! Our kitchen sink was completely clogged and Vlad came to the rescue. He was professional and courteous. He arrived right on time, found the problem immediately, and had our sink draining perfectly in no time. He took the time to explain what caused the clog and how to prevent it in the future. On top of that, he left the work space spotless and his pricing was more than fair. Vlad is honest, skilled, and cares about his customers. Thank you, Vlad! read more

They showed up promptly. Followed all of our instructions for keeping the site/area clean. They were professional. We had agreed on a price beforehand and there were no games in trying to add to the price for the job. Very pleasant to deal with when trying to negotiate the price, initially online and on the phone. Would use again for future plumbing issues. read more

Vlad replied fast and accurately quotation. The cost is very reasonable. The work quality is great

They showed up with tools that can handle any job. We have a clogged drain, and has talked to multiple contractors who came in promising it will be fixed, but none did except for these guys! They not only cleaned the pipe and unclogged it for us, but also fixed our low water pressure issue on our shower head! Highly recommend them! read more

I recommend Vlad to all of my family and friends for household plumbing repairs. Vlad has fixed a clog drain line from my washing machine and an air gap on my kitchen sink. He's punctual, fairly price, and his repairs hold up. read more

Came on time and the best thing was have a reasonable estimate for the work. I found Vlad to be very honest and transparent about how much he would charge unlike the other once who came to rip me off for my lack of expertise in this space. If you are looking for a trusted plumber I would highly recommended Vlad. read more

Responded and showed up promptly, repaired a broken shower valve cartridge professionally. Strongly recommended.

I submitted an inquiry via Yelp and received a response from Vlad very quickly. We set up a 2-hour window for an estimate on a shower repair, and he showed up as promised. When he arrived, he took a look at the shower, took apart the handle to look at the issue, and then gave me a price for the work. We agreed and he started the work. Within 30 minutes, he was done, and the shower was working perfectly again. We spoke about some other potential plumbing-related projects around the house, which he estimated for us. I appreciate how quickly he responded and took care of the repair so quickly. I would certainly use Just Plumbing Handyman again and support a local small business! read more

Very prompt, professional and nice guys. They did a great job. I'd definitely use this company again.

Vladislav and his assistant were prompt in answering my request for service and showed up when they said they would. They fixed the problem I had (a jammed garbage disposal) and, noticing a leaky joint on one of the adjacent pipes, they fixed that too! Both men were friendly and professional. I would certainly call them again! read more

Vlad came out ON TIME and fixed my leaky tub in 20 minutes that another, big player in Pleasanton, couldn't. Reasonably priced, good communication, and reliable. read more

Leaky main pipe. Great service. Gets the job done right. Professional. I would highly recommend. Thank you

My garbage disposal kept going out. I was able to get it back on by rotating it but it kept going out so I called Just Plumbing. Two nice guys came and found a little plastic piece inside and took care of my problem in 5 minutes so they didn't charge me anything. I plan on calling them in the future. They were very professional and nice to take off their shoes when they came in as well. Small things like that is important. Thank you for the help! read more

Groundhog Day. I swear I just had a similar issue a few years ago. I walk into the garage and I'm greeted with a pinhole leak in my 5/8" copper hot water pipe that's attached to my recirculation pump. Arrg!! There goes my morning run on a weekday. I turn off the water. Seems like I just did this... I made phone calls to all my past plumbers. All three--no one is available. Dang it! I call Just Plumbing Handyman and Vlad answers the phone, says he can be here in 30 min - he's here in 15! He examines the problem and gives me a quote of $250, I say it's too much, but he explains what he's going to do. After authorization, he removed the bad piece, showed me the problem and replaced it with a double-wall thickness. Hopefully it'll last longer than the previous pipe, type M, which was thinner than the new one - type L. Vlad's prices are not low, but he is fast, and provides quality work. I'd hire him to do the same work again. So, I look at my previous review on this topic. It's only been three years since Barnett Pluming took care of this. Last time it was a pipe above the recirculation pump. This time it's below. Dang it. If you have a similar leak, make sure the plumber uses type L tubing as the wall thickness is greater, and will hold up better to the water scrubbing wear to the pipe. I'm going to practice soldering, so I can do this next time!!! I have all the tools. Lol. No offense Vlad. ------ edit ------- Oh, Vlad, I was wrong. Your price is inline with what I paid Barnett for the same job. In fact it was $14 lower. No inflation impact here. Thanks! read more

Fantastic service and extremely responsive. After spending half a day trying to get other local plumbers out. I Called just plumbing Handyman and was able to get service in less than hour. I had a small leak and it was fixed in 30 mins. Extremely neat and efficient work and very detailed to make sure it was done properly. He even took the time to clean up after. I would recommend Just Plumbing Handyman to anyone. Seriously don't waste your time or effort with anyone else. read more

The job was quick, maybe took 10-15 minutes. I did some research online and the average pricing for this job is $90-120, well I was charged $300. Do your research ahead of time! Edit: I was refunded after the above review. They are quick to correct their mistake so I'd give them another try in the future. Edit: I don't think the national average for installing a refrigerator water line is anywhere near $300, I attached a google search with $70-130 as the result in year 2021. read more

I had Just Plumbing come check out our fireplace which stopped working. It had turned out that the company that did swimming pool removal earlier this year capped the gas line to the fireplace inadvertently. Vlad was super professional and courteous. He brought in a new jumpsuit and a separate pair of shoes to wear to access the crawl space. He explained exactly what needed to be done and the price he offered was very reasonable. He showed me the result of the pressure testing to confirm and proceeded to install the piping parts. Excited to be able to fire up my fireplace again! I will definitely call Just Plumbing again should a need arises in the future. Highly recommended! read more

Needed a quick repair on a garbage disposal and called around to various area plumbers. Business owner Vlad answered the call himself and provided a straightforward, prompt and super competitive quote. We were grateful that he showed up on our doorstep within an hour of my inquiry due to him being in the area and having a free window of time between jobs. They got the job done in record time. Very kind and honest vibe from Vlad and team. Will be bookmarking his name for future references to others! read more

Vlad came by within the time frame. He assessed the situation and listened to what I was saying and he actually said that the problem was not a problem at all and doesn't recommend any repairs. With that said, he didn't charge me for the time he was at my home and completely understood that most of us are well, not plumbers =) Wished all service people could be like him: shows up on time, honest and doesn't rip you off read more

Had an excellent experience with Vlad and his business partner from Just Plumbing Handyman! Long and short is I was dealing with a drop in water pressure house-wide after installing a tankless water heater. Difficult to have two showers running, etc. The team was able to patiently explain their thoughts on what the causes were and also what the limits were that they needed to work with. In the end, they gave me options of work that they would recommend and I felt no pressure to do all or even any of them. I chose to do it all bc I understood the pros/cons/limits of each of the recommended work proposed. Pricing was fair, scheduling was quick (just two days out), and the job was executed professionally (on time, cleaned up the impacted area, etc). Best of all, the water pressure exceeded my expectations. Maybe they set my expectations too low...doesn't matter...I'm incredibly happy with the outcome! Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends and definitely intend to give them repeat work if they want to take it on! read more

Vlad responded to my request promptly and gave me an honest and accurate assessment via phone . I sent him pictures of my kitchen faucet and a bathroom faucet and described the problems to him, and he advised me to replace them since it would be cheaper . He was respectful, wore a mask, and removed shoes before entering my home . I would highly recommend him . read more

Have been searching and asking for quotes on Yelp and Thumbtack. We found him and set up a 1.5 hr. window for him to do a free visit. He came on time, his rate was at or lower than market price based on the other quotes I received, and I was happy with his workmanship and straightforward statements - he told us directly what he thought and didn't try to act like a salesman or a smooth talker, which we preferred. My pipe had a leak behind the wall; he cut open the wall, and fixed the leaking elbow, which he believed was likely caused by solder paste that the installer didn't wipe off completely like he was supposed to after the job had been finished, which is highly corrosive and eats away slowly at the metal until there's a leak. It seems after the leak, the water soaked the insulation and induced corrosion higher up the pipe as you see in the picture. He provides a 1 year warranty, and gave a recommendation to create a contamination area using a plastic sheet around the hole, the window, and the fan to push the moldy air out the window and dry out the wall for a couple of weeks, as well as to spray it with mold killer and let it dry out before patching it up. He stated he doesn't do wall patching and doesn't give recommendations for a contractor since he can't control their quality or pricing and doesn't want it to reflect on himself as a quality handyman with good prices. Total cost for the job was $300. I would definitely call him again for a future job, and would recommend him to others! read more

Vlad was awesome! He was very quick to respond, and I hired him for two jobs. The first was to make a separate line for my lawn irrigation and household water. We have soft water and wanted to make sure that the in-house and outside irrigation lines were separate. The whole job took him about 4 hours. Vlad did such awesome work that we hired him to replace an extremely rusted outside water line/faucet. He completed this within about 2-3 hours. Very satisfied and will look for him for future jobs. read more

Very professional and great quality of service. I would definitely recommend "Just Plumbing Handyman" to anyone.

Earlier today I decided I would look for a plumber to fix a leaking shower head. I looked in Next Door to get a few recommendations and then went to Yelp to request a few estimates. Vlad was the first one to respond and I recognized his name from many positive Next Door recommendations. He was nice enough to schedule a time today and by 3 pm my shower was no longer leaking. He was super friendly, did great work and was competitively priced. I would definitely use Just Plumbing Handyman again. read more

The night before we went out of town, our sink somehow disconnected from the vanity and fell off. Vlad was extremely responsive and offered a very fair price. He even found another problem while doing this repair and came back the next day to take care of that as well. Lastly, I also appreciated his honesty when I asked whether he could attach our reverse osmosis system to the refrigerator - he quoted us a price, but said it probably wasn't worth it if all we needed was to connect our ice machine since we could just make ice the old fashioned way (with cube trays). I would definitely use him again. read more
