Gabriel explained everything clearly over the phone and sent me all the necessary information and videos about the available lock options. Setting up the appointment with him was extremely fast and easy. He arrived right on time--actually, a little early--and took the time to show me how the locks work and how to use them with the app. He completed the work beautifully and made the whole process very easy from start to finish. I'm extremely happy with the service and would definitely recommend Gabriel! read more

Gabriel was fantastic to work with. Got him through home warranty insurance. He arrived right on time, rekeyed my locks, replaced several others, and completed everything quickly and efficiently. What I especially appreciated was that he checked which locks I had before the appointment so he came fully prepared with the right hardware. I had mistakenly told him that one of the locks had a key when it actually didn't, but he adapted to the last-minute changes to our plan without any issue and was still able to get everything taken care of. His flexibility and professionalism made the process incredibly smooth. While I could've replaced the locks myself, I would've taken 10x as long and it would've added another task to an already hectic move-in process. Gabriel made the entire experience stress-free and saved me a ton of time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing locksmith services! read more

I don't think I've ever received such great service in my life. I called Gabriel to ask about changing the locks in our home so we could have one universal key, and I also inquired about adding a smart lock that allows entry by code or key. He answered the phone immediately, explained my options clearly, and even sent videos showing the available lock styles. He was at our home within two hours! I had to leave for an appointment, and he completed three separate sets of keys, including installing the smart lock all within about 15 minutes. He uses a very secure and advanced key system that adds an extra layer of safety, which I really appreciate. The pricing was exactly as quoted and completely transparent. It's no wonder Gabriel has so many five-star Yelp reviews, he truly deserves them. I don't think there could be a better locksmith out there. Highly, highly recommend Gabriel! read more

Gabriel was great! Very responsive communication and transparent on cost. Will use again in the future!

This guy was very rude on the phone and he tried hard to sell his smart lock. He treated customer like shit and accuse them not understanding anything. He at last hanged up my phone and cancelled the appointment. WALK AWAY FROM HIM!!!!!!! read more

He responded to me quickly, explained my options to replace my old lock, got here the next day on time, and bada-bing bada-boom, done! Gabriel is cutting edge. I needed to have my locks rekeyed and he was able to do it the next day. In the meantime, he also provided via text a few short informative videos about how easy it is to unlock your dead bolt without a key and what are other options to prevent this from occurring. For me, communication is "key" (yes, pun intended)...if you are going to be late/early, text or call. Gabriel did exactly that--thank you!!! He even directly answers his phone--wow! He has a great mobile set up and is very efficient. I originally called Gabriel Lock & Key because of the great reviews here on Yelp. I can definitely see why. read more

I found Gabriel through Yelp of course, and am definitely in the 5-star club with fast, friendly, and reasonably-priced service! He also offers high-security locks if your'e willing to invest in a more robust lock. My job was a small one and took less than 5 minutes. I have this heavy wooden door which had a deadbolt that was getting harder and harder to turn. A squirt of WD-40 does not work, and attempting to go to You-Tube for a DIY solution is not ideal given the importance of home security. Money you save by DIY is not worth the risk of messing up and causing more damage nor my valuable time. Time to call in the professionals! Over time, houses with wooden frames tend to settle. Maybe the half-dozen or so small earthquakes over the past 7 years contributed to the door's deadbolt becoming slightly misaligned. I got a next-day appointment with Gabriel and he used a special power tool to shave away some of the metal from the deadbolt's strike plate. Sparks were flying, and afterwards Gabriel vacuumed away the shavings. Definitely not a DIY Solution since it would take much longer with a regular drill bit or metal file! Would definitely recommend Gabriel for your locksmith needs, both big and small. Check out his website to learn more about the difference between regular deadbolts and high-security locks. Scary thing to see! read more
