I never write a bad review but this place is SO unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY LOCKSMITH NEEDS! First, they said that a tech had to come out to give me a quote and charged $30 for the service call. What service... a quote which they should be able to give me over the phone?! That's BS! Then when they decide to quote me a price (over the phone), it was $100-$130 over other companies. I said, no thank you. They called me back and said they could (almost) do a price match. We settled on a fixed rate that should've included the emergency key in the key fob. When we discovered that the tech didn't cut the key, he said it was another $95 to cut it! I called the main number and told them the mistake and they referred me back to the tech. Four calls and almost 2 weeks later, no one has resolved the issue! No one has called me back, offered to rectify the situation by giving me a refund or cutting my key as promised!!! SUCH A SCAM, they're trying to hustle you out of your money. Satisfaction guaranteed my ass! I should've known better when they were trying to charge me for a quote & then trying to charge over $100 more than the other companies. My boyfriend and I accidentally locked his set of keys in the trunk of his BMW z4. We had many OTHER technicians from OTHER companies come out to look at it but their price was well over 600$ and it was not guaranteed that they would open the trunk without any damage. Oren came from over 40 minutes away to help us and sure enough opened the car by making a spare key. It only took 20 minutes and he was very respectful and generous. My front door had been giving me trouble for several months and I had tried everything possible to fix it but eventually the lock just finally gave out. I believe that after 60+ years of use the lock and the knob just finally had enough and gave out. The entire mechanism just locked up one day and was stuck so I could not actually lock it, I had to leave it unlocked the entire time. This did not put my mind at ease so I had to figure out what to do about getting it replaced. I contacted Mark here on Yelp and he responded to my request almost instantaneously, something I was really impressed with. We scheduled a time for him to come out the next day and he was able to replace my entire lock and front door knob in less than an hour. What impressed me most about Mark is his mixture of humbleness and skill: he seemed so at ease replacing my lock yet he shrugged it off as nothing. His rate was affordable too and far less than some of the other competitors in the area I had been looking at. I would certainly employ Mark again if I ever needed another lock as his skill and professionalism were top notch. Actual work is fine. The issue is work was quoted with one price and Technician charged for trip fee on top of the quoted price. Usually, trip fee is waived when work is done at the same time. I needed a locksmith ASAP because I needed to get into my father's house, at risk senior with alzheimer's, being taken advantage of by his wife. I had all my court paperwork to show my legal right to access the house. Poor guys had to put up with all the family drama plus police being called. He was always absolutely professional and expedient to rekey the house while the family was embroiled in a ridiculous and unnecessary loud verbal discussion. He waited patiently, as each step was delayed then approved. I felt so bad that he had to work and wait through all the drama, always just doing his job. Excellent service. Everything done right. After a competitor failed to answer two of my phone calls (and failed to return my 2 messages), I tried these guys, "Locksmith on Wheels". I should have called them first!!! I spoke with Mark who was polite and professional and set an appointment with a one-hour time window (that's pretty good...how many providers do we see doing a 4 hour window?!!). Off to a good start. Ten minutes before the appointment, the technician, "Juan" messaged me indicating he was nearby. I met him outside of our gated community and led him to the condo. Juan is a really nice guy, friendly and very professional. Juan re-pinned a couple deadbolts for us and did so quickly. He double checked everything then asked me to test function after resintalling. Smooth and worked just fine. Lastly, after the work was done I had a receipt in my email in-box AND got a call from Mark following up to assure everything went smoothly. Like I said at the beginning of this post, "Everything done right" I am very satisfied with this vendor and would definately use them again. Called a few days ago to get an appointment for someone to install a new deadbolt on our front door. We got an appointment and quote and seemed good to go. Called the morning of the appointment just to double check, and was told that what they already quoted was illegal. Why give a quote and set an appointment in the first place if it's illegal?
