Unfortunately, my business was broken into early in the morning and they destroyed the lock on the door to enter. I called around to get the lock repaired and heard back from Sam right away. Wow, double-wow! Thanks to Locksmith on Wheels, our household is safer, our day less stressful, and we can go to bed tonight feeling confident that everything is as it should be. Our house is almost 100 years old. One of our front door locks is definitely half that age. It jammed last night and we couldn't budge the thing and used an interior stairway to leave the house- a temporary fix until we could get someone over today to deal with the problem. First, I guess the marketing and advertising staff need some props because the listing on Yelp seemed to jump out at me. Crystal clear language and no-nonsense info prompted me to make Locksmith on Wheels my first and only call. The person who answered the phone was friendly, kind, had a great sense of humor and was very reassuring when she promised I'd hear from someone soon. Within minutes, Sam contacted me, asked some relevant questions and said he would send one of his technicians over to help. When we discussed what the costs for the visit would be, he was clear as could be about my different options and that set the tone for our entire service call. I sent him photos as directed, he immediately called back to say that it might be trickier than he thought, and he promised to stop by at the end of his shift, as he had several other stops to make prior. He arrived much sooner than expected and had the problem solved for the upstairs tenants before I even realized he was here. I was so impressed with the work and the fact that he was such a straight shooter, I showed him a few other problem locks and keys in the residence, for which he offered practical and economical solutions. We just bought an investment property in Danville and wanted to get the locks changed right after signing. We called Mark once we had a closing date to schedule an appointment. He was able to come when we needed, his work van was fully stocked with everything he needed to get the job done. Mark was very friendly and professional like others here have already mentioned. He showed us a few different lock options along with a detailed explanation on the differences and what he recommends. We picked out a total of 12 locks and asked that they all work on the same key. Some doors did not have a lock at all so he needed to drill new holes in order to install them. He did an extremely clean job - even cleaned up the debris after he was done - which took about 4 hours altogether.
