We had a couple of break ins in the neighborhood and I wanted to add more security. Our front door didn't have a deadbolt and I wanted to get something that is secure enough and looks nice as well. Mind you I was on a budget so I couldn't get any deadbolt lock. I reached out to several locksmiths in Berkeley to get a few quotes and see what the best price and option for me would be. I decided to go with Locksmith on Wheels for a few reasons. First, response time was amazing, Sara answered me in 2 seconds. 2nd the prices were completely upfront and she made sure to understand exactly what I need to avoid any confusion. 3rd, I was able to book an appointment on their website which was easy as well. Javier called me to confirm our appointment when he showed up and arrived on time. He was polite, friendly and professional. He needed to drill new holes in my door to fit the new deadbolt. Completed the work in about 30 minutes. Installed a new bottom door knob with a matching key as well. Cleaned up after himself. Let me check everything works smoothly before leaving and emailed me an electronic receipt. Wow! Can't get more professional than this. I'm really glad I called them and wish every local small business would treat their customers in this manner. Thank you! read more

We had a friend tell us her house was broken into in our area. We did not have a deadbolt on our old door so I contacted Locksmith On Wheels for a quote. Sam came over the same afternoon and looked at our situation and we talked about our options for a high security deadbolt you can't buy at Home Depot. We decided to go all out and buy a Mul T Lock deadbolt. We gave him a deposit to order the deadbolt with extra keys and he contacted us when the deadbolt was delivered and set up a time for the installation. There were some quirks with my door which Sam H., our locksmith was able to determine and adjust the installation. The lock was installed properly and the door strike was re-enforced with long screws to make the overall deadbolt more secure. We are pleased with the work done by Sam H. and would recommend him to anyone considering a new deadbolt installation. read more

We closed on a new property in Pleasanton last month and scheduled an appointment to have our locks changed throughout the property with locksmith on wheels. Mark gave us all the information we needed over the phone with details about the different locks we can choose from as well as price ranges. We opted for the high security mul-t-lock locks that Mark offered. These locks are the toughest I have ever seen and I'm happy we got them installed. Mark arrived promptly on time, was friendly and professional. He completed the entire job within 2 hours from when he arrived. We are very happy with the work he's done and would recommend him to anyone looking to get the best locks professionally installed. Thanks Mark! read more

I had a terrible experience with this company. The technician they sent was extremely unprofessional, using dishonest tactics and intimidation. Despite confirming the price over the phone, he demanded more money upon arrival. Although they advertise free estimates, the technician showed up late and dismantled my deadbolt to check if it could be rekeyed. He then refused to reassemble it and threatened not to leave my property unless I paid a service fee. He finally left after I threatened to call the police, but he left my deadbolt in pieces. I would not recommend this service to anyone. read more

If you ever need a locksmith, Solomon is the one to call. I recently bought a condo and needed to have the locks to my front and back door rekeyed. Since it was not an urgent matter, I used the request a quote feature on Yelp. I got quotes quickly; Solomon answered the fastest with the best prices. On the agreed date, he arrived early within the time frame and got right to work. The new locks and keys functioned flawlessly without any sign of sticking. I'm unsure when I'll next need a locksmith, but I will definitely be reaching out to Solomon again. read more

I never expected to be reaching out to Dor so soon. I haven't searched for another locksmith because the service I got previously was outstanding. Before the year wraps up, we intend to upgrade and replace all our doors with smart locks, and we're thrilled that Dor was able to meet my request immediately. The job took around two hours, and everything functions flawlessly!! Absolutely the best!! I'm so pleased I reached out and put my trust in the right individual. read more

A few weeks ago, I purchased a smart lock for my front door. It required new door holes, so I hired a locksmith to install it. I asked a few locksmiths for quotes, and Ruben's cost was comparable. Even though there was a potential the lock wouldn't fit my door, he was more accommodating than the other locksmiths and was prepared to drop by to take a look. I appreciate your excellent service. read more

So it looks like I'm not the first to mention that there is a new owner and things are not what they used to be anymore. The dispatcher was rude l when I spoke with her. I had such a wonderful experience in the past. After doing some research I discovered that the company also lost their locksmith license. I ended up calling tri-valley locksmith which was super nice and professional. read more
