Mike's great- easy 5 stars. Our ancient door handle/lock mechanism naturally decided to die on a Sunday, leaving us locked out. We called a few places and Mike was the only one who was not only open Sundays, but he hauled out to us in a timely manner. He needed to troubleshoot a bit due to the -old- that is our door but he was able to get it open & functional/safe- he then returned a couple days later with a hard-to-find part to complete the fix permanently, and it works better than it has in years. He's professional, personable, and efficient- and really appreciate that he made time to come out on a Sunday. Definitely recommend. read more

Outstanding same day service for broken front door lock. Thanks Mike for making time for us today so we could feel safe tonight with our front door secured. Appreciated that he was able to get the job complete in one visit, didn't need to go get parts or come back another day. Also made a few adjustments so the entire mechanism works correctly so we won't have problems in the future. read more

Mike at Locks KING is an incredibly helpful guy, that has earned a customer for life. Although my inquiry was about picking out a lock for a metal gate I am building - at first I wanted electronic keypad with multiple codes - he spent considerable amount of time on the phone and via text going through all the options for a tough, strong, robust, reliable WEATHERPROOF (the hardest part) - and how to accommodate it with the details of coordinating it with the gate manufacturer. it ended up not being workable as a long-term robust solution. Then we discussed mechanical locks - in great detail, and trying again to coordinate it with the gate company. This was hard, and entailed a lot of back and forth considering different aspects of the problem and trying to coordinate with the gate company. Finally we settled on a simpler solution. Mike was EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE and HELPFUL - HE DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO HELP ME IN A COMPLEX SITUATION, and had IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TIME over and over. I owe him a big debt of gratitude. read more

Answer the phone immediately. Was fast and efficient to open my car. Highly recommend if you're in the Walnut Creek area.

Mike was golden. Not only did he fix all the locks in the house, he also made them all work just a little better. Before I could even tell him about little issues (that doesnt latch or this is stiff) he had already seen the issue and fixed it. He really cares about the work he does. Great job. Thanks! read more

This guy is amazing. He changed the the locks of my home ups stairs and down stairs a year ago. Great guy professional. Hands down the king of locks. Definitely call him for any emergency. He is a # 3 on my dial phone now. Thank you for your help. Today my sister got locked out and had 2 tow trucks try to help her and couldn't do anything to get her key from the trunk. She called Mike the king of locks and within minutes got to her and did his magic and was able to get her key out of the car and made her come home safe and sound. Thank you Mike!!! I had a backyard gate with a bolt lock in which the key that was used for it broke in half leaving the head of the key fully stuck in the keyhole. After getting an unreliable response and service from the first locksmith who could not fix it and did not follow up on returning to finish the job, I finally ditched him and went for Locks King. What a complete change in response. Not only did Mike make himself available for the job. He came on time, looked thoroughly professional (I breathed a sigh of relief) and was able to get down to business. He looked at the problem and explained to me exactly what he needed to do. I noticed he was quite knowledgeable about different locks and keys in general which lent itself to his expertise. Not only did he get the key out, he also diagnosed what the problem was in the first place and it made complete sense. He even went above and beyond and FIXED the problem without charging me extra. His pricing was already reasonable begin with. I very enthusiastically give him a big thumbs up and will recommend him to ANYONE who might need a locksmith's expertise. He greatly relieved my stress and for that, I am grateful! read more
