However, the video was stressing how yummy the Italian sub was. Service was good as I placed an online order. When I arrived my order was ready and neatly packed. I was greeted by the employee in a very pleasant manner. My Italian Sub on Rosemary Bread, Mike's way was a new experience. I added banana peppers, jalapeños and pepper relish. The regular sized sub was huge. It was packed with veggies, onions, lettuce and tomatoes. The meat was really loaded. All I can say is they are not skimpy on the toppings. Definitely worth the cost for a sub with a great amount of ingredients. Ambiance was good as the store was clean. The sub was pretty good. It's a cold sub, but I chose to heat mine up. I definitely was full and mostly satisfied. It's not my favorite, but it was enjoyable. Overall a good experience! I think Turkey is still my favorite, but this was fun to try.

The standout for me is Elke's Nutty Creation, and now that I know what's in it, it makes complete sense why it's so good. The combination of pecan cheddar spread, bacon, candied jalapeños, and peach preserves on toasted molasses wheat bread hits that perfect sweet-savory balance. It's rich without being heavy, a little sweet, a little salty, and just enough heat to keep it interesting. One of those sandwiches that sounds unusual, but works surprisingly well. The café itself has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and service is friendly and easygoing. A great spot for a casual lunch when you want something comforting, but a little different. It's family-owned, they give back to our local community, keep everything looking clean, classy, and inviting. You could easily host a group event here for up to 50 people (maybe more). Super friendly staff. They took our order with a smile, happily gave me a sample of their new pickle pasta (yes, I was that person), and actually checked in to make sure we liked our food. Customer service exactly how it should be... which feels rare enough these days to deserve a standing ovation.

This was an unusual encounter from someone who is working the front counter. Hopefully, it was just an off day.
