    Birria Tacos
    Trang C.

The birria tacos were very juicy and came with lots of meat. I would give the tacos a 7.5/10. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was in a very low key spot, but I definitely recommend![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers were very nice as well. I definitely would come back. They have a special every day if you're looking for a great deal for your meal.

Think I saw a post for this in IG so went to check it out when I was in the mood for a breakfast burrito. And like the name says, it was definitely big! Upon entering I was greeted by the person behind the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is no frills with tables, an ordering counter, mini bar to the right, and a few tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did like they had a coffee station as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their menu is plentiful with tons of options but I was there for a breakfast burrito so I put in my order for the chorizo one. The burrito came out rather quickly and while I did to-go; by the time I got back home it was still hot. The eggs, potatoes, and chorizo messed well together and the burrito was BIG. You definitely are getting your money's worth here. Overall I will definitely be back to support this local business.!

2.5 - Steak Burrito 3 - Shrimp Quesadilla 4 - Horchata 3.5 - Flan 4 - Atmosphere Steak Burrito I ordered the steak burrito. It was okay. It lacked flavor. It had little sauce to really bring it to life. The size was on the smaller side--not a huge issue on its own, but the taste didn't make up for it. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5. Just a mid level burrito. It wasn't bad, just wasn't necessarily good either. The steak was well done so that's a plus. Shrimp Quesadilla The quesadilla had a nice touch of lime. The shrimp itself was alright, nothing special, and it leaned a little too tomatoey for me overall. It wasn't very loaded either, which made it feel a bit light. Overall, a 3 out of 5. Horchata The horchata was a highlight. It looked a little watered down, but surprisingly, it tasted really good--creamy and flavorful. A solid 4 out of 5. Flan The caramel syrup on the flan was delicious--rich and flavorful. But the actual flan itself was inconsistent in texture. Something felt like it was missing. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5. Atmosphere The staff was friendly. The service was extremely fast, only took 5 minutes to get our food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had soccer playing on the TV, which added to the vibe. It was a little cold inside, but the energy was warm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would be back to try more.

A nice little find in Allen! It's not a fancy place, but they have delicious food and prompt service. We ordered beef tacos and beef quesadillas, both were excellent, fresh, and hot! Check 'em out!!

The inside is nice and small. I was greeted upon arrival. I ordered the spicy pork burrito and some steak tacos for my boyfriend. The burrito was mouth watering ! Seasoned very well and a good size.

Just wanted to add a photo from the first time. I have since been back several times to get the carnitas burrito. reminds me of SoCal Mexican.

One day I will remember to take the picture before I eat!

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO! I can only review two items on the menu because I only come here for breakfast. I always get the breakfast burrito and sometimes the breakfast croissant sandwich. The great thing is I can order the burrito the way I want it. Eggs, Cheese, Ham, Sausage and veggies and there is no up charge. It's huge and delicious you won't find a better breakfast burrito. The Croissant breakfast sandwich is great with a big thick slice of ham. I add bacon and Mayo. Everything is cooked to order fresh and hot. Simple interior nothing fancy yet clean. The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick. One day I may have lunch except they serve breakfast all day so it may be tough. Worth a drive.

This place is so good! We came here prior to making a trip back home to Oklahoma. Everything is made fresh to order. The flavor is amazing. Service is great as well. I loved the different types of salsa. I loved the spicy green salsa! Would definitely go back.

unlikely place serving up great food

This place opened decades ago. I went once, liked it,but for some reason never came back! But,here I am looking for a great breakfast burrito to go. They have grown substantially from a to go counter service to a full sit down menu. Order at the counter from a tremendous selection of Tex Mex fare. Take your seat and they bring it to your table. I was waiting for a Togo order but, while doing so observed a continuous parade of delicious food being passed out. Also, an incredible amount of to go pick up. This is a no frills place dishing up authentic reasonably priced tasty food. It's a relief to get something un-corporate. This is a definite go!

El Grande Burrito is excellent serving up authentic Mexican food. I got the three taco plate and the pastor was my favorite meat. Also, the churros were delicious. The caldo de res was extremely popular while I was there. The place was packed!

First off the menu options are varied making it hard to choose just one entree. Did we want pancakes or French toast or biscuits....so hard. We were seated at the back of the restaurant, kitchen side and it was so fascinating to see meals as they were prepped to go out to patrons. Everything looked fresh, delicious, and made to order and the portions were definitely shareable. We started off with brunch cocktails and even received a comp croissant beignet appetizer which was absolutely amazing. They were flacky on the outside and butter soft inside with amazing Nutella dipping sauce. We decided to go with a green goddess salad with all the yummy veggies, French toast, and pancakes for the table. This is a great place to dine alone and with family, friends, or a brunch date. Its very farmhouse chic and cant what to go back and try more of the menu. They will always get a recommendation from me. The place was so crowded that it was ridiculous. Don't think the fire marshal would have been pleased with the crowd and the crowd management. The place was hot. HVAC was not good. I ordered their French toast and two sunny side up eggs with extra crispy bacon. I asked her twice to please make it super crispy. The best part about my breakfast ended being my plain sunny side up eggs. Followed by the thin, soft grilled bacon that somehow came not crispy and lastly the French toast. Three dry, D-R-Y pieces of toast, with no custard flavor or moistness. It was almost just plain toast with a side of fruit compote, not what was served to the influencer on that reel. I powered through one toast and left the other two, because they were m not worth the calories. In the couple of times we saw our server, she asked how was the food and I told her about the toast, (this was at almost the end of our meal) as a suggestion. She said she would have it made gain, and she did in about 10-15 min, so that was great, but her good intentions felt short when the French toast was still dry, although with a slight soft top. Imagine barely toasted toast with powered sugar. Sigh. My friends breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon and fruit was unremarkable too. Service was 5/10'just because she tried to correct the kitchen issue (although late). Overall with tip we spent $50 for a meal not up to par with other great breakfast restaurants in the area,, a complete let down as the place looks amazing and the patio was so inviting. If the food had been at least as good as Morning Bliss, Cracked & Crepe,, Brunch at Lilly's, Frisco Starwood or Biscuit just to name a few great ones, this place would become our new go to place, based on ambiance and the patio, but it just missed the high bar by a lot. I feel sometimes, influencers get invited and the food they are served in a reel is not what two ladies in their 50's get. Pity.

We were looking for a good taqueria in Allen and found it here. This is a cozy place with about 10+ tables, playing Mexican music videos, etc. (but not loud enough to interfere with conversation). To try things out, we ordered their grilled cebolla/jalapeño combo, and 4 tacos -pastor, chorizo, barbacoa, & lengua (see photos). These are Mexican Street taco style with 2 corn tortillas. I tried the pastor, chorizo & barbacoa - they were all excellent! Served with onion, cilantro, lime slices and radish slices. Very high quality! I would be happy to eat any of them again, but would probably quadruple down on the pastor because it was just great (and I am a pastor fan - I am still in search of the El Tizoncito style al pastor tacos that you can find in DF, but until I do, these will keep me happy).
