Birria Tacos
Trang C.

The birria tacos were very juicy and came with lots of meat. I would give the tacos a 7.5/10. The restaurant was in a very low key spot, but I definitely recommend! The workers were very nice as well. I definitely would come back. They have a special every day if you're looking for a great deal for your meal.

Think I saw a post for this in IG so went to check it out when I was in the mood for a breakfast burrito. And like the name says, it was definitely big! Upon entering I was greeted by the person behind the counter. The inside is no frills with tables, an ordering counter, mini bar to the right, and a few tables. I did like they had a coffee station as well. Their menu is plentiful with tons of options but I was there for a breakfast burrito so I put in my order for the chorizo one. The burrito came out rather quickly and while I did to-go; by the time I got back home it was still hot. The eggs, potatoes, and chorizo messed well together and the burrito was BIG. You definitely are getting your money's worth here. Overall I will definitely be back to support this local business.!

2.5 - Steak Burrito 3 - Shrimp Quesadilla 4 - Horchata 3.5 - Flan 4 - Atmosphere Steak Burrito I ordered the steak burrito. It was okay. It lacked flavor. It had little sauce to really bring it to life. The size was on the smaller side--not a huge issue on its own, but the taste didn't make up for it. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5. Just a mid level burrito. It wasn't bad, just wasn't necessarily good either. The steak was well done so that's a plus. Shrimp Quesadilla The quesadilla had a nice touch of lime. The shrimp itself was alright, nothing special, and it leaned a little too tomatoey for me overall. It wasn't very loaded either, which made it feel a bit light. Overall, a 3 out of 5. Horchata The horchata was a highlight. It looked a little watered down, but surprisingly, it tasted really good--creamy and flavorful. A solid 4 out of 5. Flan The caramel syrup on the flan was delicious--rich and flavorful. But the actual flan itself was inconsistent in texture. Something felt like it was missing. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5. Atmosphere The staff was friendly. The service was extremely fast, only took 5 minutes to get our food. They had soccer playing on the TV, which added to the vibe. It was a little cold inside, but the energy was warm and welcoming. I would be back to try more.

A nice little find in Allen! It's not a fancy place, but they have delicious food and prompt service. We ordered beef tacos and beef quesadillas, both were excellent, fresh, and hot! Check 'em out!!

The inside is nice and small. I was greeted upon arrival. I ordered the spicy pork burrito and some steak tacos for my boyfriend. The burrito was mouth watering ! Seasoned very well and a good size.

Just wanted to add a photo from the first time. I have since been back several times to get the carnitas burrito. reminds me of SoCal Mexican.

BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO! I can only review two items on the menu because I only come here for breakfast. I always get the breakfast burrito and sometimes the breakfast croissant sandwich. The great thing is I can order the burrito the way I want it. Eggs, Cheese, Ham, Sausage and veggies and there is no up charge. It's huge and delicious you won't find a better breakfast burrito. The Croissant breakfast sandwich is great with a big thick slice of ham. I add bacon and Mayo. Everything is cooked to order fresh and hot. Simple interior nothing fancy yet clean. The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick. One day I may have lunch except they serve breakfast all day so it may be tough. Worth a drive.

This place is so good! We came here prior to making a trip back home to Oklahoma. Everything is made fresh to order. The flavor is amazing. Service is great as well. I loved the different types of salsa. I loved the spicy green salsa! Would definitely go back.

El Grande Burrito is excellent serving up authentic Mexican food. I got the three taco plate and the pastor was my favorite meat. Also, the churros were delicious. The caldo de res was extremely popular while I was there. The place was packed!

unlikely place serving up great food

This place opened decades ago. I went once, liked it,but for some reason never came back! But,here I am looking for a great breakfast burrito to go. They have grown substantially from a to go counter service to a full sit down menu. Order at the counter from a tremendous selection of Tex Mex fare. Take your seat and they bring it to your table. I was waiting for a Togo order but, while doing so observed a continuous parade of delicious food being passed out. Also, an incredible amount of to go pick up. This is a no frills place dishing up authentic reasonably priced tasty food. It's a relief to get something un-corporate. This is a definite go!

My stomach growls, begging to be pleased…read more I went to meet my brother and sister-in-law for breakfast, and they recommended Sunview Cafe. Located in a never-ending strip mall in Allen, we walked in and got our name on the list. It was 11:30 am, so the early church crowd was coming in alongside us. We were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up only being about 10. Inside, Sunview is loaded with Texas décor all over the walls. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. The impression from my brother and sister-in-law was that they wanted to come back here often, and I'll probably find myself returning next time I'm in Dallas. RIYL: More meal options than seats at a restaurant.

"For Dad": For the name, the portion size felt a little small and the dish itself is pretty simple. You can choose between bacon or sausage, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. One of my sausages was slightly undercooked, but overall the dish was good.

We happened to meet the friendly owner, John, while walking by one afternoon and mentioned we were from out of town looking for a place to host our event. He told us they rent out the restaurant in the evenings. Many of our guests were staying at the nearby Denizen Hotel, which made the location incredibly convenient. I have to say John Zhang and the entire team went above and beyond to make our event special, fun and stress-free. The food was absolutely excellent. I'll admit, I was a little unsure at first since it's known as a breakfast restaurant, but the quality and quantity exceeded all expectations -- kudos to the chef! The drinks were great, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was so fun and welcoming. As an added bonus, there happened to be an outdoor concert that evening, so many of our guests enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to live music. It made the night even more memorable. Thank you, John and the entire Broken Yolk team, for helping make our daughter's wedding weekend so special. We truly appreciate everything you did to make the Welcome Party such a success!

It's super slow.. there are lots of brunch places around so competition is fierce. Waited 10+ mins to take the order and then they didn't check if we had silverware or enough waters. Food took a while to arrive as well. Had to get creamer and fork ourselves. Hope this helps them work on the service issues. Would love for them to improve and stay around. Hopefully it's because they are still fairly.

We were looking for a good taqueria in Allen and found it here. This is a cozy place with about 10+ tables, playing Mexican music videos, etc. (but not loud enough to interfere with conversation). To try things out, we ordered their grilled cebolla/jalapeño combo, and 4 tacos -pastor, chorizo, barbacoa, & lengua (see photos). These are Mexican Street taco style with 2 corn tortillas. I tried the pastor, chorizo & barbacoa - they were all excellent! Served with onion, cilantro, lime slices and radish slices. Very high quality! I would be happy to eat any of them again, but would probably quadruple down on the pastor because it was just great (and I am a pastor fan - I am still in search of the El Tizoncito style al pastor tacos that you can find in DF, but until I do, these will keep me happy). While I can eat lengua (if I can't find pastor), but my wife is a connoisseur and she liked them (and messaged a friend about them). The Cebolla asados with jalapeños were amazing and an incredible value at ~ $2. We had no chance to try La Sirena (paleteria y fruteria), but it looked very promising. We will be back to try their breakfast offerings. We feel quite fortunate to have found this place.
