The breakfast burritos and sandwiches are to die for. They are expensive, but damn are they delicious. If you ever feel like having a treat yo self kinda day, I would suggest picking up some food at LJs Lil Cafe. I usually get the same things - the spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, Brisket Pastrami, and the Queso Philly Cheesesteak. All of them are mouthwateringly delicious. You can't go wrong with any of them. I just wish it was cheaper so I could get it more often. $20 for a sandwich or a burrito is kinda wild but I guess it's kind of the norm these days with how crazy inflation is.
Holy wow. Finally made my way here, they have a parking lot but it gets BUSY, so does their inside seating! Please plan appropriately when visiting! Inside is covered with cute merch, decor and awards, they are very proud of what they do and have every right to be. Service is amazing. The girl who helped me was so kind, patient and informative. I got the cookie butter latte (seasonal) and the og burrito with the signature sauce. This combo is ab absolute 10/10. The cold foam on the latte is salted and coming from someone who doesn't usually like salted foam tops, this one was to die for. The burrito is already cut in half by default which is a HUGE plus, that sauce is incredible. I can't wait to get the opportunity to come back here.
Definitely one of the top breakfast burrito places in OC! I recommend ordering online and picking up, it could get pretty packed, especially during lunch time around noon. I went with the OG, for about $17 it is kind of high, but the burritos are huge and filling and can be shared by two people! However it's so good that you may want to get your own! Came with fluffy eggs, cheese, bacon, and Portuguese sausage! It also comes with their famous LJ sauce and you can pick another, chose the habanero and it was super spicy! But delicious! The sauces alone should warrant 5 stars! Definitely recommend trying out!
I think I've found my new favorite post-surf burrito spot. I'm going to have to explain my new found love to my BF. I was looking for something conveniently located between South OC and the freeway when I stumbled across this hidden gem. First things first--the tater tots were fantastic: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. My 5-year-old self would have been absolutely thrilled. I ordered the OG Burrito, and it did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful and plentiful, and the burrito had a great balance of ingredients without being overloaded with potatoes. The cilantro sauce was the perfect finishing touch, adding a tangy kick without any heat. Now, if my burrito-to-potato ratio seemed a little off, that's entirely on me because I may have eaten a questionable number of tater tots before diving into the burrito. No regrets. Everything was delicious, and I'm officially hooked. If you haven't checked this place out yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.
Finally got to come by LJ's early and my Spicy OG Burrito came out delicious! I love the gooey cheese, crispy tots, soft eggs, pieces of sausage, and green peppers. The Habanero "orange" sauce is spicy and I absolutely love it. I order a side of pickled jalapeño slices to eat with every bite. Service is friendly and efficient. Store is very clean and has these comfy padded seats. I really love this location, just the parking is difficult sometimes.
BOMB breakfast burrito-- Tried the OG breakfast burrito that comes with eggs, tater tots, Portuguese hawaiian sausage, bacon, and cheese. Pretty big portion for my type of breakfast that I only ate half of the burrito, but it was definitely good that I saved the other half for my lunch. The iced cinnamon toast latte also was good, kind of tasted like a Spanish latte in a way. Would recommend!
A pretty solid breakfast burrito. Got the Philly ribeye instead of chorizo. The tortilla is really good and the meat has good flavor. The burrito isn't greasy like other spots I've had but it is a bit heavy on the eggs and tater tots. The creamy cilantro sauce is really good here. The place has nice vibes and the employees are really nice. It's worth checking out.
This is my second time coming here and the burrito never fails! Parking can be tough if it's busy but I somehow always find parking. There is usually a line out the door so I recommend ordering a head of time and it will be ready by the time you get there. There isn't much seating and the place itself is small so be prepared to take your food to go. The OG burrito is huge and packed with breakfast items. I love how cheesy it is but also crunchy from the tater tots inside. It is a savory explosion in your mouth that will fill you up. I ended up only finishing half my burrito. I decided to try a drink this time and picked the mango matcha. It wasn't my favorite the mango overpowered the matcha but also tasted a little watered down. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again.
Delicious Breakfast Burritos!! There is a big selection of burrito options on their menu and every item seems equally as delicious. Every burrito comes with a side of sauce. I got the spicy OG which came with jalapeños and ooey gooey cheese. I also got the loaded tots to share with friends and WOW! not only were they affordable, they were also delicious! I got both the queso tots and the vern tots. My favorite was definitely the queso tots, but both were super yummy!! They also make delicious specialty lattes which were surprisingly very yummy!! My friends and I tried the cinnamon toast iced latte and the lavender honeycomb iced latte and both were super yummy, especially the cold foam. However, I wish the coffee flavor was a little stronger! The line can be long but ordering is quick! They also have limited seating options. I will definitely be back, the sandwiches look super yum
Located in a smallish shopping strip, LJs is easy to spot. There are quite a few other eateries in the row, so parking gets challenging during peak breakfast and lunch hours. I'd heard that they're known for their hearty burritos so I thought I'd go check them out. We arrived shortly after 11 and they were already busy with all but one table occupied. Orders are placed at the counter and your name is called when it's ready. Because they were busy, it took a bit for our order to come up, but it wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. From the Yelp photo gallery, their portions look generous, so my foodie friend and I decided to split everything. Today we ordered the pastrami burrito and Vern's Tots. As we suspected, the portions truly are generous enough to share {unless you're famished, then don't share :) } The burrito was hefty and packed with everything ~ eggs, cheese, pastrami, crispy tots, and the perfect amount of sauce ~ very tasty and filling. The Vern's Tots were *LOADED* with all the toppings! Very generous amounts of sweet, grilled onions, LJs house sauce, melted cheese, and bacon. Very filling and very decadent. A great little find and I'm looking forward to trying more of their burritos and sandwiches.
Ordered online Saturday morning around 10am and it already said it would take roughly an hour to be ready. Luckily I had time to wait so decided to just place the order anyways. They charge .75 for extra sauces, I liked the creamy avocado sauce the most. The parking was kinda small and so was the restaurant. It was definitely packed in there with 2 separate lines. The burrito was pretty heavy! I liked the eggs and tater tots in it, I kinda just wish i ordered a different meat option. Not sure if I liked the hot Italian sausage as my protein after all. My bf liked it a lot tho so it's probably just me haha. Cant wait to come back and try their Portuguese sausage next or maybe a sandwich.
The breakfast burritos here were absolutely delicious! They were packed with filling, everything tasted fresh, and you could tell it was made to order. The drinks were just as good--refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect complement to breakfast. They have a sign saying they were voted the #2 breakfast burrito of 2026, but after eating here, I honestly can't imagine what the #1 spot could be. If there's a better breakfast burrito out there, I'd love to try it, but this one definitely set a high bar. Great food, great quality, and I'll definitely be coming back!
Heard about this place through Instagram and had to give it a try! This is hands down such a must try restaurant if your craving breakfast burritos. Small restaurant with a few tables, you order first and they call your name when the food is ready. Plenty of parking spaces, this place can get crowded after a certain time we came around 7:30am so there was not a line. After we ordered food that's when folks started to come after 8am. The staff were extremely welcoming and nice. Their iced lattes have such a quite interesting refreshing taste to it. The burritos are massive sizes. Every bite had a lot of flavors, and the sauces made it even better! Drinks - Orange creamsicle latte and Lemon Blueberry lavender latte Burritos - OG Breakfast burrito, Chorizo Burrito and the Brisket Pastrami were impeccable! The tater tots were extremely crispy every bite had such a nice crunch to it. A very simple menu which is great, prices are high, but the amount of food that's packed in the burrito was worth it.
The fact that this is so close to where Im working is SO dangerous! We tried this place around 12pm on a Saturday and there was a crowd of people out the door. It was also really difficult to find parking, people were even just parked in non parking spots and putting their hazards on :/ Nonetheless upon ordering we were told it would take 30-40 minutes for the food since it was busy. However we got our food in around 25! We tried out their holiday peppermint latte and it was so good! A good amount of peppermint flavor to it without it being too minty- i love the real peppermint chunks. We tried the chorizo and OG burrito and let me just say, it is the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. The tortilla is so thin and has a nice chew. The eggs were so fluffy, and there a hefty amount of meat to them. Omg and the hashbrowns were so crispy and added a nice crunch! Don't get me started on their cilantro crema sauce! It pairs so perfectly with the burrito!! I will say the burrito was really filling, I personally would be content sharing one burrito next time! I got the og breakfast burrito, regular tots, with LJ's signature sauce and creamy crema. The food was tasty but it would've been better serve fresh and hot. Our order was placed under the wrong name and by the time we realized we received our order almost an hour later. We didn't mind the wait too much because it was very busy in the store. I saw the staff working quick to deliver orders. Some were very nice and attentive checking up on costumers that dined inside. There's not that many tables to sit at inside considering that the store is very tiny. There's a long table that you can stand and eat at however it awkwardly blocks the ordering line. The parking lot is small and very hard to find parking when busy. Overall I would recommend! I just wish our first experience could've been better. You're better off ordering online to avoid the long wait and the terrible parking! read more

The mixture of their sausage, blend of cheese, fresh tortilla, hash brown and top with their habenero salsa. Let me tell you something! New favorite breakfast burrito in OC! Everything about this was great - from the tortilla, to the sausage, and the tater tots. I also got the green salsa & creamy cilantro sauce on the side, which added a nice touch. The place is pretty small, with only a few tables. It's also in a smaller plaza. I went on a Monday morning, so parking wasn't an issue, but I could see it getting packed on the weekend. I also ordered online in case there was a line, but my food was ready in 10mins. I would probably stick to ordering online if you're going on a busier day! read more
It was a rainy morning and my siblings and I were craving a breakfast burrito! My brother suggested trying LJ's Lil' Cafe for their famous "Home Depot" burrito! I would have to say I wasn't disappointed with my good it was! I got there and they have a huge line of people waiting. Despite that, the staff worked hard and fast to get everyone through the line. I order the #1 The OG Breakfast Burrito with Cilantro Creama sauce and the habanero sauce and pickle onion on the side! The burrito was HUGE! Def has a weight to egg! Your classic breakfast burrito with fluffy eggs, tots, , bacon, sausage, and cheese! I see why people love their burrito so much! I also try their Pumpkin Cheesecake latte. It was a good latte, but I wish the pumpkin cheesecake flavor is stronger. I was expecting the drink to taste like pumpkin cheesecake but left a bit disappointed. It was good coffee regardless! The cafe is a bit small with a few tables along the side. Love the LJ's Lil' Cafe neon sign at the order area! I def would come back whenever I crave breakfast burrito! read more
This is really one of the best breakfast burritos i've ever had. I came here after seeing it on social media and it did not disappoint. I got the OG Breakfast Burrito, it has potuguese sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, and tater tots. My favorite part of this is the Portuguese sausage because it adds a new flavor experience since I haven't seen a lot of other places with portuguese sausage. The tater tots also add a really nice crunchy texture. Also, the burrito is huge! I shared it with someone and we were both full by the end of it, so I really felt like I got my money's worth! 10/10 life changing breakfast burrito you need to try!!! read more
This was my first time trying this establishment. I placed my order online because I know they get super busy. I ordered around 7:30 this morning, and it was ready for pickup around 8:06. I paid about $18 for the Spicy OG breakfast burrito. The burrito overall was good, and I loved the amount of eggs and cheese they put in it. However, the sausage they use is not my favorite. It tasted like giant hot dog chunks, which honestly made me want to vomit. I'd still come back to try the veggie burrito, and I would even order the same Spicy OG again, just without the sausage. It's a decent spot, with great customer service from what I saw, and the burritos are definitely large. Salsa very good as well. read more

I came to check out LJs since I saw the YouTube video online so I wanted to support. It's a small place but the place looked clean. I ordered the OG burrito but unfortunately had to substitute the Portuguese link since it wasn't available. I chose pastrami. The burrito came out fast and it was a good size to say the least. I was a bit bummed to not get the amount of cheese they seem to advertise a lot. Oh well. Anyhow, would i recommend this place? Definitely! A must try for any Disneyland visitor or OC local. Most of are probably used to Paul place burritos or George's. I say try this place instead as it's much better quality and not as greasy. Anyhow, support local businesses and skip the boring overpriced mainstream stuff. Put LJ's on your list next time you're in the area. read more
Breakfast burritos aren't something I normally look for in the morning. They aren't in the same category of cravings the way Cincinnati Chili, Goat Curry, or St. Louis Ribs. I like them and I'm glad when I find a good place for them, but it's not a huge breakfast priority. I have to say that LJ's has some of the breakfast burritos I've ever had. These chonky, beefy, and cheesy boys put everything together so well it's impossible not to love them from bite one to bite fifty-three. I especially love their use of tots over the traditional hash browns and the way that they fluff up their eggs that would make any adult film set proud. It's an art to how they make these beasts and you can tell they spent time perfecting this offering. The space, though small, is ample, especially for a mostly to-go spot. I didn't have trouble finding a table and not being overly stimulated by the cacophony around me. It was a relatively subdued and chill situation. The service is great and I had no doubt they were all friendly and competent at their jobs. I doubt anyone coming in here could call into question their professionalism. This leads me to believe I'll be back again, even if it's just to pick up a burrito for home. They are too tasty to be a one-and-done situation and I'm already plotting the next time I might want to come back. read more

This is hands down the best Breakfast Burrito I've ever had! The egg was real fluffy and the tater tots were super crispy! The cheese just melts in your mouth and the whole burrito is consistent all throughout! Amazing experience! Just expect to wait 20-30min because of their popularity. The line may seem short, but it takes a while to get your food. Totally worth the wait! read more
This place is busy! If you try to call in and don't get an answer, try online or try later! Don't give up lol I picked up a handful of breakfast burritos - OG, chorizo, spicy... Positive feedback from the team! Each burrito is stuffed so you don't be left hungry :) They have a handful of sauces as well but most already come filled with their original sauce. The guava matcha with guava cold foam was one of the best matchas ive ever had. Amazing flavor, quality matcha, not watered down. This was one of their specialty drinks so I would love to see what they change to that menu. The og burrito came with a free salsa of choice. This burrito is easily shareable and so so good. Salsa: Great salsa! I always tend to favor the green salsa over the red. Burritos are very loaded and stacked. Also has a bit of grease which is always what you want for a breakfast burrito. Spicy OG 4/5: The sausage was a bit on the sweeter side for me and I wish it was a but more spicy. Queso Burrito 4/5: Really packed with flavor. If you're a huge queso fan you'll love this. Finally, a breakfast burrito that lives up to the hype! This place was packed on Saturday at 11:30 AM. I've never seen this parking lot so full, and I was thankful to find a parking spot. The cafe was crowded with all the tables full and many people waiting for their food inside and outside. We did wait in line to order, but it gave me enough time to decide on what to order. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito, and it was delicious! It had the perfect ratio of crispy tater tots to sausage to egg. AND it was evenly distributed throughout the entire burrito, something that other burrito spots can't seem to get right. Plus, I liked how it was seasoned and sauced, so it didn't taste dry or even need the extra dipping sauce. But I will say that the creamy cilantro crema complemented it nicely and added extra flavor. This burrito was so good, it was hard to stop eating when I got full. We had to wait a little while for our order due to the crowd, so it was nice that they had samples of their seasonal espresso drinks available for us to try while we waited. If I didn't have to wait in line again, I would have ordered a coffee. I'll be sure to add it to my meal next time. I have been hearing about this place for quite some time but never got to try it out because the original location was a bit out of the way. I'm so glad they opened a second location more central to OC! It's still about 20 minutes away from where I work, but I've been craving a breakfast burrito so made the drive out during my lunch. This location is just off the I-5 freeway. Parking was no problem. When you walk into the store it's minimal and clean with seating available unlike the original location where it's take out only. The staff were super friendly and helped me right away. I ordered the OG Burrito for pickup so my order was ready by the time I got there. OG Burrito 10/10 - This was a phenomenal breakfast burrito. There was nothing I didn't like about it. The tater tots were crispy providing a nice crunch with every bite. The eggs were soft and fluffy. The cheese was melty. The portuguese sausage and bacon added a nice balance of sweetness and savoriness. I got the LJ's signature sauce on the side and it was a perfect compliment to the burrito. It can be a little heavy feeling, but worth it in my opinion. The burrito was a little more on the expensive side, but I wouldn't hesitate getting this again. The portions are also huge, I only ate half and I was full. This might be my new favorite breakfast burrito! Definitely worth the drive and I highly recommend it if you love breakfast burritos. read more

Honestly blown away. As an amateur breakfast burrito connoisseur myself, I heard big praise about this spot. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The tots were crispy, which is difficult to do in a breakfast burrito. Seasoned well. The nice man at the register gave me a free cilantro crema since I told him it was my first time trying it. These burritos were hefty! Made two meals out of it! The tortillas are handmade and I love the thinness making it easy to eat. We ordered the breakfast Sammie which was a bit salty due to the bacon but the bread was super soft. We also got the OG breakfast burrito and spicy OG breakfast burrito. Both are the same except for the jalapeños. Crispy tater tots in every bite. They use exactly 3 eggs in each burrito and had Portuguese Hawaiian sausage. Each meal came with 3oz sauce which I appreciate. It's the perfect size and you can purchase additional. We got signature, salsa and creamy cilantro. read more

Can't stop thinking about this spot! I got the OG Breakfast Burrito ($15.99) and it was soooo yummy. Everything about it from the sauce to the ingredients were great. It was very filling too, so I had leftovers. My friend also got the Brisket Pastrami Breakfast Burrito ($18.99), and she said it was delicious (especially the pastrami that was used). They even gave her a free sauce because the server said a specific sauce tasted really well with it -- such sweet service! We went on a late Friday morning and it was pretty packed! There were a few tables, but we were able to snag one. For how it works, you order at the register and they call out your name once your order is ready. The food came out fast considering it was busy. I loved the theme the restaurant too, and the inside was very cutely decorated. Would definitely come back to try more stuff and just get the OG break burrito again. :) read more

So, as I was making a trip down to the OC, I had been searching for a while for quality breakfast burrito places, and I came across Lj's, and it looked terrific. Parking was definitely tight on the weekend, but nonetheless, we found some and made our way in. Ordering took less than 2 minutes as it wasn't super busy, and I already knew what I was getting, the og breakfast burrito, and it coming with both bacon and sausage was a treat. The employees were also very sweet and helped me throughout my whole experience there, and I was appreciative. Once I received it, I was immediately shocked at how big this burrito was because that is often rare in today's society. Once I tried it, immediately my mind was blown with how superb this burrito was, and how I liked to think it's not in my top 3! I tried both the cilantro crema and LJ's signature sauce and felt like they weren't anything special and could really eat the burrito without them, as it was good on its own. I am so happy we made the drive; it was definitely worth the stop. read more

Massive breakfast burritos that probably need to be shared. I had the pastrami, which was a good burrito but costs around $19. It is good and perhaps taste wise a little more premium than most, however, I still prefer my Lucky Boy massive breakfast burrito for $12 in Pasadena. Perhaps I am spoiled by it and this is quite a distance from Pasadena. Service was polite and prompt and tables were clean. Ambiance was standard fast casual, nothing wrong with it, nothing special. read more

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was jam packed with amazing flavors. It is definitely a favorite of mine, along with their OG burrito. I definitely recommend as they are a great restaurant that i've been supporting since their first location outside a home depot! service was quick and top notch, and patient while i asked questions about the different various options to choose from. Seating is kind of small and limited but offer a small standing room as well which is nice, but can definitely feel packed during peak hours. read more

A HIDDEN GEM! Food: Delicious breakfast burritos!! I'm not over exaggerating, but there was a perfect balance of everything inside the burrito and the fact they put tater tots inside is a game changer (We ordered the OG & Pastrami Burritos). We loved the sauces too! It's hard to find a good burrito spot and this check marks everything. I think it's worth the price. As for the coffee, it was not so great, pretty mediocre. Service: Pretty quick! We came mid morning on a Sunday and it was PACKED. Ambiance: It's a SMALL cafe with limited seating. You can do an order pick up online. We ended up eating in our car. LJ's Lil' Cafe has done it again! Adding a location from its little shack by Home Depot to this very nice little pocket in a shopping plaza near the freeway, the city of Orange now also has some of the best breakfast burritos in the OC. This round, we got to try the OG Breakfast Burrito (5/5), the Brisket Pastrami Breakfast Burrito (3.5/5), and the Philly Cheese steak Sandwich (4/5). All of their breakfast burritos typically have eggs and tater tots, cheese, and some sort of protein or sauce. The OG gives you a healthy serving of bacon and Portuguese sausage and it is dangerously addictive. The burrito wrap is chewy and warm with a light crisp. The tater tots give you a dreamy crunchy texture, the egg is fluffy and thick throughout, and the bacon and sausage deliver bold and meaty joy into your mouth. Yum. Their pastrami burrito was also incredibly tasty, but I give it a lower score because the pastrami I had was more fat than brisket and the cutting was not even and intentional. So while all the other elements worked, the pastrami was not on its game the day of my visit. The philly cheesesteak has a healthy serving of cheese melted beautifully stop some thin cut slices of cheese steak. It's not your classic, but it tastes great and is a nice chanfe-up if you aren't in a breakfast burrito mood. The sauces are crazy good. The green salsa is so fresh and goes well with everything. The red salsa is a perfect medium, and their creamier sauces are decadent and balance out some of the heat from the salsa while still giving bold flavors. What also stands out is the service. They move very quickly, seating can be found with a shorter wait on a busy Sunday, and the food comes out with just a little patience. But the manager responded with incredible kindness and consideration after I mentioned the pastrami burrito had very little meat and more chunks of fat. While this can happen in a busy kitchen, he immediately tried to correct the issue and was so kind and attentive and checked in to make sure all was good after. 10/10 example of how to turnaround a potential miss. My only complaint is that I wish they had the amazing burgers from the other location here :). Otherwise, welcome to Orange LJ's. We are lucky to have you. I'll be back plenty. read more

Tried the Veggie Breakfast Burrito and shared it with my mom. The burrito was huge and packed with flavorful ingredients. I loved how cheesy and gooey it was! I also appreciated that it was already cut in half, which made it easy to split and share. Despite being dense and loaded with fillings, it held together well and wasn't messy to eat. My only personal preference is that I would have liked fewer tater tots inside the burrito. I've been going to the original location in a Cypress for a couple of years and I'm so happy they opened up another location closer to Anaheim. The Breakfast Burritos are the same quality as the OG location, which is providing great quality food. I love the green salsa with my Spicy OG Burrito with no sauce and grilled onions added. I had heard about LJ's on instagram and when I saw their breakfast burritos, I knew I had to try it and it was soooo worth it! We ordered the burrito to share (which was more than enough) and a side of tater tot's. The burrito was so good and flavorful. What I loved is how it was full of tater tot's and sausage, not just egg. The Hawaiian sausage added so much flavor. The tater tot's were so crispy and delicious. Overall, a great breakfast burrito that I would recommend! My only thing is that we ordered a side of sour cream and it was almost $2 which is a bit much. Food- We ordered the veggie breakfast burrito, and the OG breakfast burrito. Both burritos were absolutely delicious. Expect these burritos to be HUGE than your average burrito. I would suggest sharing one burrito if you're dining in with someone. The salsa and crema was tasty and flavorful. I have no complaints here. Some guests have complained there is no definition in the burrito, but honestly presentation doesn't really matter when it tastes good. Service- The staff were friendly and polite. Ambiance- It's more of a grab & go place, but there is seating inside. Fair warning, only one restroom is available for customers so be prepared to bring those air fresheners! read more
