Finally got around to trying the famous breakfast burrito at LJ's Lil' Cafe, and honestly? I think it's a bit overhyped. I happened to be in the area on a Friday morning and stopped in around 9:30 AM. They were already completely out of sausage, which was a bummer since I wanted a solid, meaty burrito. I ended up opting for the chorizo instead. The place itself is just okay, it's small and nothing fancy, with just a few tables and basic decor. Service was perfectly fine for what it is, which is just a standard counter-order type of spot. As for the food, I ordered the OG BB. While I definitely appreciated how crispy the tater tots were, there were just way too many of them. The tots completely overpowered the taste of the protein, so every bite ended up tasting mostly like potato. For me, a great breakfast burrito needs balance, I want to actually taste the meat, and most importantly, I like the scrambled eggs, mixed with melted cheese, to be cooked lightly, creamy, or even a little runny. Because the burrito is huge, I only ate half and took the rest home, but mostly I just got tired of tasting nothing but tater tots. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it just didn't hit the mark for what I look for in a top-tier burrito. Even if I'm back in the area, I don't think I'd make a return trip for this one.
I finally got to try this place now that they have a brick and mortar store. I've attempted in the past at their cypress location which is just a truck in front of Home Depot, but wait times were so long I never did. This time, I order online in advance for some breakfast burritos. It did take an hour so make sure you plan before ordering! The burritos are hefty and packed full of goodness. Tried both the original and the spicy one. Also tried their red, green, and signature sauces. All of them were good, I prefer the green for that tanginess and my partner preferred the signature for the creaminess. It lives up to the hype and I will definitely order some coffees next time as I didn't realize they had some unique flavors.
We do around 4 Disney trips a year, and most of the food we eat is at the parks. However, we always have our travel-home day to try breakfast / coffee spots nearby before hitting the road when we drive. On our most recent trip I was craving a breakfast burrito, so I naturally turned to Yelp to help me find a spot. LJ's immediately stood out as a highly-rated, delicious looking option that was a relatively quick drive from our hotel. Located in what looks like a strip-mall type shopping center, we had no trouble finding parking. The place was definitely poppin', as there were over a dozen people amongst multiple groups waiting for their orders both in and outside. The line was relatively short the whole time we were there, which makes it seem like they have a good system to keep things flowing on that front. There's a single bathroom in the back that was open for customers and clean. DRINKS: They have some classic choices like drip coffee, double espresso, hot or iced lattes with various flavors, as well as some signature options. The signature drinks seem to rotate and be seasonal. The current signatures for April 2026 were an Orange Creamsicle Latte, Cinnamon Toast Latte, and Matcha Latte. For milk options, they have whole, 2%, oat, and almond. They also have soda and OJ as alternatives. The coffee signatures sounded unique and flavorful, so we decided to get one of each to share. The Orange Creamsicle and the Cinnamon Toast Lattes were both quite tasty! We got them with oat milk, which I feel makes them even more creamy. The flavors from the syrups and cold foam (orange vanilla on the creamsicle), were definitely worth trying! FOOD: We of course did a bunch of research before coming in, including but not limited to reading reviews, and looking at way too many pictures of burritos. There were multiple top choices for what we wanted to try, and what made it even more difficult was that we were planning to split just one burrito. We had our eyes on the OG, Chorizo, and Brisket Pastrami most specifically. They all come with 3 eggs, tater tots, some sort of cheese, and various other ingredients. After some debate and recommendations from the girl who took our order, we decided to go with the OG. Figured for the first time trying a new spot, the OG seems like a good bet. The burrito was next level. Just like the photos promised, we opened it up slowly to reveal one of the most cheesy and glorious breakfast burritos I've possibly ever seen. SALSAS & SAUCES: There are 5 options for sauces and salsas: Mild Red Roasted Salsa, Medium Green Serrano Salsa, Hot Habanero Salsa, LJ's Signature Sauce, and Creamy Cilantro Crema. Each burrito comes with one complementary side, with each additional being $0.75. They're 3oz each, so it feels more worth it. IMO, the Mild Red was a solid, standard red salsa. The Green Serrano was mild, smooth, and light. The Habanero was HOT. I like spicy stuff, but this was a little too spicy for my liking. The Signature Sauce and Creamy Cilantro Crema were both favorites... not only of the ones at LJ's, but anywhere. Yeah, they were that good. We brought the extras back north with us and were using them on leftovers and with chips when we got back home. If you're not feeling a breakfast burrito, they also have a Brisket Pastrami Sandwich, Queso Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and sides of regular and loaded tots! OVERALL: Shout-out to the hardworking staff who are working hard and churning out countless burritos and drinks each day. This is officially a new favorite spot when visiting Disney / Anaheim. These burritos are THICC, hearty, cheesy, and packed with flavor. They're big enough to split, eat half and save half, or finish one and be full for the day! I'm already looking forward to our next trip down south so we can try those other burritos; next time I'm getting my own! :P
I don't even like breakfast burritos but now I've changed my mind!! The OG and chorizo breakfast burrito were so so good. Stuffed with eggs, crispy tater tots, and meats that were all well balanced. I hate when you order a bfast burrito and it's too much of one thing - Lil LJs does it perfectly. And the mixed cheese just ties it all together deliciously !
Yes yes and more yes!!! Just visiting and saw this place had some good reviews and wanted to check it out. You can tell this place gets very busy but the customer service is top notch. We got the OG breakfast burrito, spicy OG breakfast burrito, the lavender lemon latte and banana latte. Came back two days later and got another OG breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. They have a variety of salsas but we opted with the cilantro lime and medium green Serrano. Their breakfast sandwich comes with the red OG salsa on the side and is very flavorful. Breakfast burritos are a pretty good size and could be shared between two people. If you aren't really into cheese just ask them to remove it. The burritos also come loaded with crispy tater tots and choice of protein The breakfast sandwich was our least favorite, it tasted pretty greasy and lacked flavor. I would recommend sticking with the Burrito's they have executed them perfectly. The coffee's were really good. Perfect amount of Lavender to lemon ratio. Never had that combo together but it works. The banana latte is creamy and not too overpowering. Maybe I'm just a caffeine addict but the caffeine content wasn't too much. As for the vibe, love me a indie, minimal concept and this place delivers. If you're in a hurry just order online and it will be ready but if not they're probably really busy so be patient. Can't wait to come back on our next visit:)
I LOVE THEIR BREKKIE BURRITOS! And randomly, I like their matcha here too haha. I was not expecting to like it sm c: !! Def try the OG first and then work your way down through the menu. Service is always good and they try to keep things moving. Don't be afraid to ask questions or for their recommendations. The cafe can get really busy on the weekends so I suggest ordering online. It is a bit expensive ($16-$20) but it's so filling...
Decided to grab a bite. Been wanting to try this place out since I saw it open months back. I was surprised at how small the place is. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean interior and decent restroom, although it's a single restroom. They mainly focus on breakfast burritos and sandwiches but it's good to keep the menu small. Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I ordered online & picked up, which I'm glad I did because I went around 11am and it was pretty busy inside. Picked up my food 20min after pickup time and the food was still fresh and warm. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito and sauces on the side as pictured. The sauce is SO GOOD!! The tots were crispy, sausage was juicy and the overall flavor is so delicious! The burrito is pretty big, you will be super full. I love that it is wrapped very tightly and didn't fall apart at all. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!
I'm salivating just thinking about the OG burrito... it was so flavorful and cheesy and the portions were insane! I came in absolutely famished, but I was stuffed after eating just half the burrito. I also love that they have tons of sauce options to choose from. The service was great and their recommendations were very helpful. It's a tidy space with fair amount of seating, and there was little to no line when I visited. Wouldn't be surprised if this spot blew up though. I'm looking forward to my next visit :)
If you love breakfast burritos (and even if you're just so-so about them), you have to try LJ"s! They're loaded with eggs so fluffy, nestled in tater tots,bacon and sauce. My fam got together at my house and we split them in half so each of us can try different ones. My favorite was the spicy OG which comes with italian sausage (yum) and jalapeno. I was also pleasantly surprised by the chorizo. Normally I don't like chorizo because it's fatty and salty, but the quality of chorizo they used didn't taste greasy at all. We all love how the burritos had a perfect ratio of eggs to potatoes and were wrapped nicely. They didn't fall apart even though they were stuffed. It's magic really. This is a definite must-try and soon to be a usual spot for great burritos!
Portion size was big!! Could only eat half. Ordered the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito and it has more tater tots than other ingredients. I love tater tots, so I'm not complaining but it would have been nice to have a bit more sausage in it. I would probably go for Queso Burrito instead. I did enjoy the Queso Tots! They were crunchy and the cheese and beef sauce was good. The burrito and tots did need some salt, but the medium green serano sauce was a good touch. Warning very small inside, hard to find seating!!!
I'm all for new players entering the competitive breakfast burrito scene in Orange County, and I stand by the fact that we probably have among the best in the country. LJ's is a familiar name for those in the know, and while I never visited their original truck location and only visited their new one just now, I'm an instant fan. All the concerns over wait are sort of overblown, as I went during peak weekend breakfast hours, and while the number of people can be rather daunting, they run a steady ship here and will get your order out fast. I got the spicy breakfast burrito, and it was full of flavor, with a classic habanero type of orange sauce that was almost unnecessary because the burrito itself was moist with flavor, rare even among great breakfast burritos. They have a legit coffee menu as well, which you would be surprised from a place that serves breakfast burritos. I had an earl grey banana bread latte and the flavor was nice. Seats can be limited, but turnover is fairly quick. The parking lot can get crowded, and it's definitely way too small for the businesses around, but you'll find your way. It's conveniently located nearby The Outlets and Chapman University, so it's a pretty central location. I'll definitely be back soon and I really look forward to trying their other burritos. TIP: Order ahead if you don't want to wait.
These breakfast burritos are really something else. LJ's started as a shack in front of a Home Depot in Cypress and has done so well for themselves that they now have an actual store in Orange. My favorite breakfast burrito is exclusive to the Orange location - the Pastrami Breakfast Burrito. It consists of tender, juicy brisket pastrami, tater tots, eggs, oaxaca cheese, and pickled red onion. I love it with the LJ's sauce, which is that perfect shade of creamy orange that just screams "I'm a delicious sauce!" (I think it's like spicy mayo or something). The burritos are more filling than you think. The store itself can get very busy. I recommend ordering online ahead of time or being prepared to wait for like 45 minutes. There are tables and a bathroom inside. The workers are very nice.

LJ's Lil' Cafe in Orange absolutely delivered. I tried the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, and wow--this one is easily top 3 breakfast burritos I've ever had. Loaded with 3 eggs, crispy tater tots, hot Italian sausage, and grilled jalapeños, then I finished it with both cilantro crema and habanero crema--every bite hit. The habanero crema brings a nice, spicy kick without overpowering anything. Perfect balance of heat, flavor, and texture. The tots stayed crispy, the sausage brought real flavor (not greasy), and the cremas tied everything together beautifully. Big, satisfying, and genuinely delicious. read more
What a giant portion of a burrito!! Best to split it with two people or at least only eat half at a time. The tortilla is filled to the brim with 3 eggs, hot sausage, jalapeño, cheese, and tator tots. Also, the accompanying sauce was very delicious. Definitely try the habanero ones if you like spicy food. If you're like me and used to eating smaller portions or lighter fare, be ready to not have any strenuous activities planned afterwards HAHA! I think I was ready to slumber and hibernate after eating just 1/4 of it. Very tasty but very heavy food. The order was placed online and it was ready upon arrival. Parking is free and plentiful right in front of the store. The inside is adorned with neon decors. I opted to eat at home because of too much coming and going happening. I may not return frequently but wouldn't hesitate recommending to others if they want breakfast burritos. read more

Massive breakfast burritos that probably need to be shared. I had the pastrami, which was a good burrito but costs around $19. It is good and perhaps taste wise a little more premium than most, however, I still prefer my Lucky Boy massive breakfast burrito for $12 in Pasadena. Perhaps I am spoiled by it and this is quite a distance from Pasadena. Service was polite and prompt and tables were clean. Ambiance was standard fast casual, nothing wrong with it, nothing special. read more

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was jam packed with amazing flavors. It is definitely a favorite of mine, along with their OG burrito. I definitely recommend as they are a great restaurant that i've been supporting since their first location outside a home depot! service was quick and top notch, and patient while i asked questions about the different various options to choose from. Seating is kind of small and limited but offer a small standing room as well which is nice, but can definitely feel packed during peak hours. read more

This place lived up to its hype. Came here after seeing a YouTube review and I have to say, this place did not disappoint. We ordered the "OG Burrito" with tater tots on the side and it was delicious! Tater tots was extra crispy without us even having to ask. As for the burrito, it did not disappoint! So much flavor and big enough to share for husband and I. The cheese pull was awesome on the burrito too, oh my gosh! They definitely did not skimp on the ingredients, so you definitely pay for what you get. Customer service was on point and the had the perfect amount of table space for people to eat and go. We will definitely be back to try other breakfast items from this restaurant. Thank you LJ staff for the hospitality and delicious breakfast. read more
Let's make one thing clear, this place lives up to the hype. LJ's is in the same plaza as Lee's and a few other quick serve restaurants so parking can get a little dicey during the lunch rush, but don't give up hope, this place is worth any wait. The interior is brand new with plenty of standing space and a few booths/tables to enjoy your meal if you don't wanna wait to enjoy your meal (guilty). Service is great, the staff is all so friendly and they work quickly to get everyone their orders as fast as possible. You can also order ahead on their website, which is a very convenient offering (it can get busy). For food and drink, I got the Spicy OG sub bacon, and a peppermint latte. The burrito was fantastic, there was a perfect ratio of ingredients, and everything was mixed together so each bite was perfect. This burrito had everything I could ask for, 10/10 no notes. They also have a great selection of salsas, my favorites being the Red Roasted Salsa, Green Serrano Salsa, and Cilantro Crema. The Peppermint Latte was great too, I think it's a seasonal drink so get it while you can. This place is the best breakfast burrito spot in OC, and it's not even close. The guava matcha with guava cold foam was one of the best matchas ive ever had. Amazing flavor, quality matcha, not watered down. This was one of their specialty drinks so I would love to see what they change to that menu. The og burrito came with a free salsa of choice. This burrito is easily shareable and so so good. If you're here from tiktok and trying to determine if it's worth the hype, it truly is!! We ordered their OG breakfast burrito and it was beautifully crafted. The best part is how crunchy the hash browns are. Their sauces complement their burrito so well and they have so many choices to choose from. I like to get several sauces and put them in my burrito. My favorites are the red, green and habanero sauces. However, if you're not a sauce person like my bf, it's perfect on its own as well. I suggest ordering on the phone before hand as it can get pretty crowded. We like to order on our way there and it's ready by the time we get there instead of having to wait in line. I don't remember any sitting inside but your burrito is just as good if you take it to go. It doesn't get soggy. It's just as good the next day if you have leftovers. Also, theres several people eating it in their cars or outside. If you're debating where to give it a try, this one is a must. read more

Honestly blown away. As an amateur breakfast burrito connoisseur myself, I heard big praise about this spot. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The tots were crispy, which is difficult to do in a breakfast burrito. Seasoned well. The nice man at the register gave me a free cilantro crema since I told him it was my first time trying it. Be prepared to wait in a line because this spot just opened in a super central OC location this year, but honestly the wait is worth it. The service is great! They don't rush you at all and give you tons of info at the front, which I really appreciated. I would say that this is more of s grab and go breakfast because seating is pretty limited with how many customers come in. I ordered the OG, and the burrito comes exactly as advertised. The cheese pull and everything that's packed in the burrito will send you into a food coma. I'm not gonna lie, I couldn't even finish the burrito because it was so packed and just a lot, but perfect for anyone who is looking for a hefty meal! It's super satisfying and definitely one of those meals you need to walk off afterwards or just head straight home and fall into a very deserved nap. Definitely one of my top three favorite breakfast burritos in OC and glad they got a bigger spot closer to me. The place filled up real quick and the wait wasn't too long. I immediately ordered the OG burrito and it only took 7-10 min to wait for my name to be called. The restaurant was full with no table available and wanted to eat my burrito fresh so pro tip. Support one of the other establishments next to them and buy something there too and, walla more tables, albeit not in the restaurant but there was so space because it's too good lol. I recommend getting there a little early if you want to score a table or take your chance getting lucky when someone leaves. The OG burrito is as advertised and packed with flavor. The chorizo they use has a nice kick that blending nicely with the creamy cilantro salsa. They had 5 different ones to choose from and all seemed delicious. The cheese is real and everything melts together in one big bite of heaven. It's a legit breakfast burrito. I liked the kick and later realized you can order it spicy too. So many great things on the menu to choose from but I could only eat half my burrito as it's very large. Enough to share unless you're super hungry. Great vibe there and the line goes pretty quick. Breakfast burritos are bomb. Large and delicious. Always a fan of tots in my breakfast burrito. My one "complaint" is how tight it is inside. The queue isn't currently wide enough for our stroller. Not deterring me from coming back tho. I suggest scrapping the dine in tables. Food is awesome read more

My friend and I visited on a Saturday morning and it was pretty crowded. For the amount of people in there, there definitely wasn't enough seats to go around but it seems like most people were just grab n go. We ordered the pumpkin cheesecake latte and the wait was over fifteen minutes. The foam was sooo flame though. The latte itself was a bit sweeter than I would've liked, and I think I would request less syrup next time. Would love to try their burritos next time! read more
The fact that this is so close to where Im working is SO dangerous! We tried this place around 12pm on a Saturday and there was a crowd of people out the door. It was also really difficult to find parking, people were even just parked in non parking spots and putting their hazards on :/ Nonetheless upon ordering we were told it would take 30-40 minutes for the food since it was busy. However we got our food in around 25! We tried out their holiday peppermint latte and it was so good! A good amount of peppermint flavor to it without it being too minty- i love the real peppermint chunks. We tried the chorizo and OG burrito and let me just say, it is the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. The tortilla is so thin and has a nice chew. The eggs were so fluffy, and there a hefty amount of meat to them. Omg and the hashbrowns were so crispy and added a nice crunch! Don't get me started on their cilantro crema sauce! It pairs so perfectly with the burrito!! I will say the burrito was really filling, I personally would be content sharing one burrito next time! I got the og breakfast burrito, regular tots, with LJ's signature sauce and creamy crema. The food was tasty but it would've been better serve fresh and hot. Our order was placed under the wrong name and by the time we realized we received our order almost an hour later. We didn't mind the wait too much because it was very busy in the store. I saw the staff working quick to deliver orders. Some were very nice and attentive checking up on costumers that dined inside. There's not that many tables to sit at inside considering that the store is very tiny. There's a long table that you can stand and eat at however it awkwardly blocks the ordering line. The parking lot is small and very hard to find parking when busy. Overall I would recommend! I just wish our first experience could've been better. You're better off ordering online to avoid the long wait and the terrible parking! read more

LJ's has the best breakfast burrito in OC for sure. Their service is fast and friendly. Parking is a bit rough but totally worth it. The place gets crazy busy but again, definitely worth the wait. My second time around, we ordered a couple of different burritos than the first time and they were just as great. I'd say you can't go wrong with any of them. They are a bit pricey but it'll fill you up for the entire day. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a size-able meal. read more

THE HYPE IS REAL! I will drive of my way for LJ's breakfast burrito, it's that good. We were on a breakfast burrito mission to find the best and I think LJ's is it! The mixture of their sausage, blend of cheese, fresh tortilla, hash brown and top with their habenero salsa. Let me tell you something! It's a small shop you order at the counter, expect a wait or a line. You can also order online but you need to tell them you've arrived for them to start the order. read more

Ever since I tried the original LJ's location in Cypress, I've been wanting to go back. When I saw that this was opening up right by my work which is on the way home, I was hyped. It was under construction for quite a while but glad they opened up before the year ended! Here's what I've tried: **Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito: Delicious! I sub Oaxaca cheese instead and it's definitely a game changer! I'm generally not a fan of mayo based sauces but theie signature sauce is off-the-charts delicious! I've tried their green serrano salsa and hot habanero salsa but they're not as good. The breakfast burrito itself has a strong cheese-pull game and the flavor overall is spectacular! A must try! (5/5) **Queso Tots: The tots were on the crispier side, which was perfect. However, I wasn't a fan of the queso itself and there wasn't much of it which was a bummer. I had this early on during its soft opening phase so maybe I'll get it again in the future. (3/5) **Cinnamon Bun Latte: Never thought I'd get a seasonal latte from a breakfast burrito spot but I did. The espresso portion was surprisingly strong with a great balance. I liked the cream cheese foam but it was a little too overpowering. I'm generally not a fan of sweet lattes but even with all the flavors going on, it wasn't that bad in the sweet department. (4/5) I highly recommend ordering online. The first time I ordered was on a weekend morning right after work and there were about 30 burritos ready to get picked up upon my arrival. My second time was a little later around 9 AM and they were busy both with dining and takeout orders. The staff here is very pleasant and there's plenty of parking. I recommend LJ's for your breakfast burrito needs. read more
I was craving a good breakfast burrito, and had heard lots about this shop. The shop is located in a plaza with other food eateries. So, parking can get kind of busy. Luckily, I came on a weekday, and was able to find parking. The service was friendly. However, I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a lot of tables inside. I assume that it gets crowded on the weekends. Also since they're so busy, they don't wipe down the tables right away! My friend and I decided to split the og spicy burrito. The salsa we got was the mild roasted red sauce. The burrito was hearty! I felt like I could have eaten half of the half of the burrito. The burrito was tasty, but it seemed like there were a lot of tater tots inside the burrito. I would have preferred more meat. The burrito had a nice spice, but I wished it was a bit spicier. The salsa helped a lot with the burrito, since I was getting a bit sick of it. Overall, this place is not bad, if you're craving a breakfast burrito. I suggest ordering online though, since the shop seems to get busy. I do think the price is a bit expensive for the burrito, considering there were a lot of tater tots in the burrito. read more
I recommend ordering online before heading over. The pick up time is usually 30-40 minutes depending how busy they are. I get the OG breakfast burrito and the creamy cilantro creama sauce. The burrito is made fresh to order so it is still hot when I pick it up. I also tried the queso tater tots and it was pretty good too. It is one of the best breakfast burritos I had in OC. It is on the greasy side, so half of one burrito is already filling to me. Definitely recommend the burrito here! read more

New favorite breakfast burrito in OC! Everything about this was great - from the tortilla, to the sausage, and the tater tots. I also got the green salsa & creamy cilantro sauce on the side, which added a nice touch. The place is pretty small, with only a few tables. It's also in a smaller plaza. I went on a Monday morning, so parking wasn't an issue, but I could see it getting packed on the weekend. I also ordered online in case there was a line, but my food was ready in 10mins. I would probably stick to ordering online if you're going on a busier day! read more

Finally got to try LJ's and it did not disappoint!! A friend of mine lives near this location so I decided to put in a scheduled online order to pick up and bring to her house. My pick up time was 10:50am and my food was ready to a go a few minutes after I arrived. There's a few tables inside, but not a lot of seating so it could be hard to get a table during a busy time. They packed our food nicely and everything was delicious! I ordered the spicy og burrito and my friends ordered the pastrami sandwich and queso Philly cheesesteak. They were both very happy with their choices. We also shared a side of the queso tots, so good! I want to come back and try their coffee and other loaded tots options. It was a rainy morning and my siblings and I were craving a breakfast burrito! My brother suggested trying LJ's Lil' Cafe for their famous "Home Depot" burrito! I would have to say I wasn't disappointed with my good it was! I got there and they have a huge line of people waiting. Despite that, the staff worked hard and fast to get everyone through the line. I order the #1 The OG Breakfast Burrito with Cilantro Creama sauce and the habanero sauce and pickle onion on the side! The burrito was HUGE! Def has a weight to egg! Your classic breakfast burrito with fluffy eggs, tots, , bacon, sausage, and cheese! I see why people love their burrito so much! I also try their Pumpkin Cheesecake latte. It was a good latte, but I wish the pumpkin cheesecake flavor is stronger. I was expecting the drink to taste like pumpkin cheesecake but left a bit disappointed. It was good coffee regardless! This is really one of the best breakfast burritos i've ever had. I came here after seeing it on social media and it did not disappoint. I got the OG Breakfast Burrito, it has potuguese sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, and tater tots. My favorite part of this is the Portuguese sausage because it adds a new flavor experience since I haven't seen a lot of other places with portuguese sausage. The tater tots also add a really nice crunchy texture. Also, the burrito is huge! I shared it with someone and we were both full by the end of it, so I really felt like I got my money's worth! 10/10 life changing breakfast burrito you need to try!!! read more
This was my first time trying this establishment. I placed my order online because I know they get super busy. I ordered around 7:30 this morning, and it was ready for pickup around 8:06. I paid about $18 for the Spicy OG breakfast burrito. The burrito overall was good, and I loved the amount of eggs and cheese they put in it. However, the sausage they use is not my favorite. It tasted like giant hot dog chunks, which honestly made me want to vomit. I'd still come back to try the veggie burrito, and I would even order the same Spicy OG again, just without the sausage. Breakfast burritos aren't something I normally look for in the morning. They aren't in the same category of cravings the way Cincinnati Chili, Goat Curry, or St. Louis Ribs. I like them and I'm glad when I find a good place for them, but it's not a huge breakfast priority. I have to say that LJ's has some of the breakfast burritos I've ever had. These chonky, beefy, and cheesy boys put everything together so well it's impossible not to love them from bite one to bite fifty-three. I especially love their use of tots over the traditional hash browns and the way that they fluff up their eggs that would make any adult film set proud. It's an art to how they make these beasts and you can tell they spent time perfecting this offering. The space, though small, is ample, especially for a mostly to-go spot. I didn't have trouble finding a table and not being overly stimulated by the cacophony around me. It was a relatively subdued and chill situation. The service is great and I had no doubt they were all friendly and competent at their jobs. I doubt anyone coming in here could call into question their professionalism. This leads me to believe I'll be back again, even if it's just to pick up a burrito for home. They are too tasty to be a one-and-done situation and I'm already plotting the next time I might want to come back. read more
This is hands down the best Breakfast Burrito I've ever had! The egg was real fluffy and the tater tots were super crispy! Finally, a breakfast burrito that lives up to the hype! This place was packed on Saturday at 11:30 AM. I've never seen this parking lot so full, and I was thankful to find a parking spot. The cafe was crowded with all the tables full and many people waiting for their food inside and outside. We did wait in line to order, but it gave me enough time to decide on what to order. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito, and it was delicious! It had the perfect ratio of crispy tater tots to sausage to egg. AND it was evenly distributed throughout the entire burrito, something that other burrito spots can't seem to get right. Plus, I liked how it was seasoned and sauced, so it didn't taste dry or even need the extra dipping sauce. But I will say that the creamy cilantro crema complemented it nicely and added extra flavor. This burrito was so good, it was hard to stop eating when I got full. We had to wait a little while for our order due to the crowd, so it was nice that they had samples of their seasonal espresso drinks available for us to try while we waited. If I didn't have to wait in line again, I would have ordered a coffee. I'll be sure to add it to my meal next time. Salsa: Great salsa! I always tend to favor the green salsa over the red. Burritos are very loaded and stacked. Also has a bit of grease which is always what you want for a breakfast burrito. I have been hearing about this place for quite some time but never got to try it out because the original location was a bit out of the way. I'm so glad they opened a second location more central to OC! It's still about 20 minutes away from where I work, but I've been craving a breakfast burrito so made the drive out during my lunch. This location is just off the I-5 freeway. Parking was no problem. When you walk into the store it's minimal and clean with seating available unlike the original location where it's take out only. The staff were super friendly and helped me right away. I ordered the OG Burrito for pickup so my order was ready by the time I got there. OG Burrito 10/10 - This was a phenomenal breakfast burrito. There was nothing I didn't like about it. The tater tots were crispy providing a nice crunch with every bite. The eggs were soft and fluffy. The cheese was melty. The portuguese sausage and bacon added a nice balance of sweetness and savoriness. I got the LJ's signature sauce on the side and it was a perfect compliment to the burrito. It can be a little heavy feeling, but worth it in my opinion. The burrito was a little more on the expensive side, but I wouldn't hesitate getting this again. The portions are also huge, I only ate half and I was full. This might be my new favorite breakfast burrito! These burritos were hefty! Made two meals out of it! The tortillas are handmade and I love the thinness making it easy to eat. We ordered the breakfast Sammie which was a bit salty due to the bacon but the bread was super soft. We also got the OG breakfast burrito and spicy OG breakfast burrito. Both are the same except for the jalapeños. Crispy tater tots in every bite. They use exactly 3 eggs in each burrito and had Portuguese Hawaiian sausage. Each meal came with 3oz sauce which I appreciate. It's the perfect size and you can purchase additional. We got signature, salsa and creamy cilantro. read more

Can't stop thinking about this spot! I got the OG Breakfast Burrito ($15.99) and it was soooo yummy. Everything about it from the sauce to the ingredients were great. It was very filling too, so I had leftovers. My friend also got the Brisket Pastrami Breakfast Burrito ($18.99), and she said it was delicious (especially the pastrami that was used). They even gave her a free sauce because the server said a specific sauce tasted really well with it -- such sweet service! We went on a late Friday morning and it was pretty packed! There were a few tables, but we were able to snag one. For how it works, you order at the register and they call out your name once your order is ready. The food came out fast considering it was busy. I loved the theme the restaurant too, and the inside was very cutely decorated. Would definitely come back to try more stuff and just get the OG break burrito again. :) read more
