    The Reuben Sandwich
    Mahwish S.

I tried their Reuben sandwich for lunch and it was very filling and satisfying. I asked for extra sauerkraut and extra thousand island sauce on the side. You can choose your side and it comes with slices of pickles. Very delicious!

What an amazing hidden gem! We found Little Maria's Cafe this morning and so glad we did. I ordered the crest your own omelette and added potatoes and a side of Mexican rice. My dish came with delicious fresh handmade salsas and it was incredible! My husband had a breakfast taco, chicken salad sandwich, and finished it off with a giant chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely be back.

Big portions, super fresh, personal and friendly service! This cafe is tucked into the first floor of an office building but don't be fooled! They're open on weekends and the food and service is home-cooked and family-run. They exceeded expectations.

This is a great find. Hidden in the first floor of an office building, this is a small sit down breakfast/lunch delight. Counter service with the friendliest staff. The prices are fantastic. The breakfast tacos were delicious. The egg sandwich was huge and incredible. We'll be coming back here often.

A small gem hidden away in the CNPC building on Wilcrest! Fresh food! Great morning tacos and an awesome green salsa to go with.

They have two new sandwiches on the menu, so I definitely had to try at least one of them. I went with the Cilantro Lime Steak sandwich, and was thoroughly satisfied! You get a nice-sized Cuban loaf, with lots of beef, string carrots, cucumbers, gobs of fresh cilantro, and a delicious cilantro lime dressing drizzled over the top. There is also a garlic mayo spread generously on the bread, so when it is perfectly toasted, it reminded me of garlic bread! And of course, I had to have my usual barbecue chips to top it all off. Another chef's kiss for a delicious sandwich! I will definitely be back to try the other new sandwich, the Buffalo Chicken Glaze!

They had TOOO many options to choose from. The inside is so cute and adorable- people were working from there which was nice. The service was great- the ladies working were so sweet and accommodating. They gave use recs and it was nice. We got the pastrami royale (14.99$) and the mahanattan melt (12.99$) and both were delicious. They were made fresh in front of you and you could personalize and add more topping if you wanted any. I love how they display the meats on a baking sheet which is so aesthetic. So incredibly flavorful and delicious. And the presentation was just wow!! I would highly recommend if you're in the area

Lots of seating, great wait staff, and the sandwiches are gigantic--as they should be for the price. $30 for a sandwich on average. We split an open face pastrami (which they brought an extra plate) and we are glad we did. The potato salad is tiny. Too much sandwich for one but not enough potato salad for two! The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet. We also had the apple pie alamode. Also pricey and gigantic. It was warm and delicious. Glad we tried this icon. We went at lunch and they get quite the crowd. You are not rushed at all. You can even take some bakery items to go--if you are too full to eat there. Amazing selection of cookies, rugala, black and white cookies and more.

My partner wanted to grab lunch here so we tried for the first time this place. We got a simple sandwich and elote which the staff said it should take 15-20 mins. We waited and waited it past 40+ mins and I went to ask. - First was that they lost our order number and they couldn't find it. - Second the manager began to say our order was taken by someone else and then that my partner grabbed it. Switching her words back and forth and not believing what we had said. I asked how did we grab our stuff if I still have the device to notify when our food is ready. - Third she completely stopped talking to us and went to go help at other customers. I told her we want our money back and she said, "well I'm not going to refund for the drinks you had". Ma'am, that's not how you run a business. Just admit you messed up and take ownership of your mistakes to help a customer out. - Fourth she mentioned that other tickets have been lost today and other foods have been stolen before. This just shows how disorganized this placed is. We were able to ask for our money back but it was a battle about it. I was disappointed because we wanted to support your business but at this service? Heck no! Do not come here. And from reading other reviews now we did not miss on the food.

It is not easily visible from the street but there is a sign on Gessner that will help you find it. Inside it's a counter service restaurant. I wanted a cheesesteak but had a little difficulty finding it on the menu because it's located under the heading From The Grill and there it's called a Philly Steak. For a place that has cheesesteaks in its name I thought that it should have a section with that name somewhere on the menu. So I ordered a Philly Steak for $9.99 and added an order of fries for another $3.49 along with a canned soft drink. The food took less than 10 minutes. The sandwich came with the requisite meat, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and provolone cheese all on a soft bread bun, it was very good tasting but I wanted more content inside the bun. The Philly Cheesesteaks that I have had in the Philly area had more meat, cheese and everything else. I would have gladly paid $2-3 more for that. Like I said, very good tasting but give me more filling! The fries were large crinkle cut ones and were served hot but they were also a little soggy in the middle. Perhaps undercooked? Finally they charge extra for a credit card without any signage I saw other than when the clerk ran up the bill. I wanted to give a 4 score but have to go with a 3 instead.
