Fried chicken breast, broccoli & rice and cabbage

Ms Tee is a wonderful person. She recognizes all the returning customers and always smiles. She serves breakfast and lunch. Great prices. The daily menu is posted on Facebook every day. Look for @Teesdelihouston on Facebook. If you don't like whats on the menu she will make it for you. That's great customer service. Definitely a hidden gem.

Ms. Tee is so friendly, always smiling, and a sweet person! I ordered a bacon cheese burger and bag of chips for $5. Flavorful, moist burger, tastes all-American. Thank you, Ms. Tee!

Best Bacon Cheeseburger In Its Price Range When I search for "Burger" on Yelp, Tee Deli shows up highly rated, so I give it a try. I was promptly greeted and welcomed by the owner Tee when I got into her deli located inside a commercial office building. It's a cafeteria style deli with freshly cooked daily special waiting for her customers. I asked for the menu and Tee recited to me some of the more popular menu item as the place is undergoing renovation. I didn't need to hear anything else after she mentioned "Bacon Cheeseburger", because that's exactly why I was there for today. The Classic Bacon Cheeseburger arrived in a big bed of French Fries. After I took my first bite, I know immediately this is going to be a good burger. The patty is well seasoned, although well done, it's still moist and not dry at all. The burger comes with good-sized crisply fried bacon strips, topped with usual fresh lettuce and tomato, with mustard and mayo. I cut the burger in half, and slowly finish the whole burger. A good sign of good food to me is that I enjoy my first bite and the very last bite too. Tee came by and checked on me and my food to make sure everything is okay. As I approached the cashier to pay, Tee and I talked a little bit, and find out that they serve Fried Chicken on Mondays, which definitely secures my next visit sooner. When Tee told me the total is $6.50, I reminded her that I had a bottle of Perrier too. Tee assured me that was indeed the total with food and drink. That's one of the fullest meal I could get for that price. I had a wonderful lunch experience at Tee Deli. I feel very welcomed by Tee, and her cooking is very home-style and comforting. I know she will remember me next time I return because Tee is simply a nice woman who loves to cook for her customers and make sure they are happy at her charming deli.

Came here for the first time today. Tee Deli's reviews on both Yelp and Google are a perfect 5/5 and I can say without reservation it is well deserved!! If you are looking for home cooking made with love and care you would be doing yourself a favor if you stopped by! Tee, the owner, is incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Wednesdays special is fried chicken and it was very good along with the to die for macaroni and cheese. The prices are very fair and the portions will have you leaving full! This certainly won't be my last time coming to do this hidden gem!

Grilled Chicken Sandwich comes with fresh slices of avocado, crispy strips of bacon and so much more.

It took our waiter about 20-25 minutes just to take our drink order. We already knew what we wanted and placed our entire order at once, anticipating either staffing issues or slow service. Even so, things never improved. We waited an additional 30-45 minutes for our food, which never arrived. Eventually, we asked for it to be boxed up so we could leave. While waiting, we noticed the table behind us also get up and leave due to the excessive wait time. We arrived roughly an hour and a half before closing and were never properly served. Overall, this location shows a clear lack of training and concern for customer experience. Side note: I took the food to work the next day, and it was extremely salty--definitely not worth the wait. This was our first and last visit. The only photo I was able to take was of my drink, as it was the only thing that ever made it to the table.

The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. They were very on top of service with both our dining captain and waiter checking on us throughout the evening. For appetizers we ordered the deviled crabs, tuna tostada and wood roasted carrots. All were great but I especially loved the carrots which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were too stuffed to order dessert but they sent out a s'mores inspired sunday for my birthday which was both thoughtful and sublime. Overall we were very impressed with our meal. Food was delicious but veeeery indulgent. We will be back.

We were greeted by three different people - one that took our drink order, one that cleared our plates, and one that took our order. All were very nice people and gave excellent service! I forgot their names unfortunately. My receipt said Zachary but not sure which waiter that was. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

When we arrived and gave our name for our reservation, we were seated in an area that was visibly dirty -- the seats had not been cleaned. We requested to move to another table, which they accommodated without issue. Our waitress was pleasant and gave good drink recommendations. However the drinks were not strong at all -- and if a drink isn't strong, what's the point? The drink was good just not enough alcohol. The food was a different story. I originally wanted the brisket tacos but was told they were out of brisket, so I had to settle for something else that somewhat fit my taste. My potatoes were essentially scraps -- hard and inedible. My pancake was dry, cold, and arrived with no butter. It was just not a good pancake. The eggs were fine -- eggs are eggs. My friends didn't fare much better. One ordered the steak bites and rice pilaf and said her food was too sweet but the steak was tender. The other got the grilled chicken sandwhich and felt the pesto was overwhelming -- way too much of it. We also ordered deviled eggs, which were completely overpowered by a heavy-handed spicy mustard. If you know mustard, you know it takes over everything -- and it did. The bacon and Tabasco flavors were completely lost. When I flagged my potatoes to the food runner, they offered to bring more -- but why would I want more of something that should never have been served in the first place? I declined. This was our first and last visit to Daily Gather. Nothing about the experience was spectacular or special enough to bring us back.

Upon arriving, our server asked us to be seated anywhere. The place was empty. I guess lunch may not be the preferred or busiest meal at the hotel. I am sure most of the inhabitants had just finished their breakfast. The lunch menu was pretty simple. We both ordered a make your own burger. I went with a make your own grilled chicken, while my friend with a make your own burger. I got French fries as my side and kettle cooked chips with the other order. My grilled chicken was amazing. It was grilled to perfection with melted cheese on the breast. It was topped off with lettuce tomatoes onions and mayo. As I was chewing every bite, I was just cherishing the bursting flavor that was coming from the chicken. I also had a bite of the burger which too was amazing. We got it medium well with melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo. An absolute delight. Our server, whose name I am forgetting was very attentive and friendly. He kept checking up on us and would refill our drinks in a timely manner. The ambiance and décor was nice too. There were a few TV's and the place was well maintained. The bar section was pretty big too. Considering the quality of food, I definitely see myself returning to this location.

No hostess, no server, no bartender. Eventually a server came out and told us to sit anywhere and brought us menus. They offer a Pick Two lunch with fairly limited choices. And, when asked if they have a drink menu for a small cocktail- we were told they don't have a bartender until the evening. Uhm, ok, but it's a Sports Bar.... The food was average: not bad but not great either. Standard nachos, sliders, pasta, salad or burger choices. I got sliders and my friend got nachos. Both were ok. The $3 iced tea seemed overpriced. Lunch is only $7. There are lots of TVs going which is cool but one had the volume too loud, in my opinion. Made conversation difficult in an otherwise empty place. By the time we left only two other tables had patrons and they all entered with no direction and since we were sitting near the door, asked us where to sit (we just said anywhere). Eventually the server saw them and took them menus. Personally, I'd skip it for lunch and maybe try a Happy Hour when, hopefully, they're staffed. Disappointing since I frequent the area for work once a week.

We started with Hibiscus Margaritas, quickly upgraded to a pitcher (zero regrets), and jumped into appetizers. The roasted red pepper hummus with parmesan crisps surprised me in the best way--really good. The Brussels sprouts and lettuce wraps were the clear standouts, an easy 10/10 and the main reason I'll be back. Some other apps were hit-or-miss for my taste, but that happens. The vibe was relaxed and clean, with a nice buzz once the Friday after-work crowd rolled in. The manager checked on us multiple times, gifted us their house-made potato chips (Chef's Snacks--crispy and addictive), and even gave us appetizer coupons after hearing we work at a school and were scouting a spot for a happy hour social. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way. Solid drinks, strong food highlights, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Lazy Dog definitely earned a return visit.
