I've been supporting lots of local ma and pa shops lately. These spots deserve a lot of businesses versus the overhyped popular ones. To be honest Hot Grill exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent along with their service. This location is located in not the best area but it's near a municipal court with lots of officers around so I don't feel unsafe. I started off with their 5 piece mozzarella sticks. They came out pretty hot with a good cheese pull. Idk what seasoning they added onto the batter but it was very good. For my main course I went ahead and ordered the 2 piece catfish with 4 wings & French fries & my friend got their grilled chicken sandwich with French fries. Wow, I was thoroughly impressed. The catfish was thick and came out piping hot. I had to wait a couple of minutes to dive in because it was so freaking hot. I'm a huge fan of their batter, seasoned to perfection and salty. Whatever magic dust they sprinkled on top of the food, keep doing that. My chicken wings were also delicious, it reminds me of Harold's shrimp & chicken. The batter was crispy but also flaky, it's not really fried hard but had so much flavor. They know what they're doing. The crinkle fries were also very good. I'm not a huge fan of it being fried too crispy so these were just right for me. My friend grilled chicken sandwich was decent. Nicely seasoned but could've been more moist, it wasn't dry though. At the end I ordered their strawberry banana pudding. It was creamy but a little too sweet for my liking, still good though. Overall, this location is awesome. This is why I support hole in the wall because they tend to be overlooked. This spot has several seats to dine in but more better to order to go. Let's get into it! Hey YOU! Yes you reading this is missing out if you have not tried Hot Grill Halal. Everything about this place I'm loving. Food very fresh tasting. This is refreshing to eat at a small business. Food first... we wanted to give a couple things a try on the menu. I ordered 1 fried fish, 4 fried wings, Philly cheesesteak w/ fries, and Mediterranean salad w/ chicken added. Everything tasted like love. It tasted like they were cooking for their family at home. I felt like I was eating at their house but at mine lol. Fried chicken was crispy and nice amount of seasoning. It wasn't over battered. Just right. Fried catfish was nicely coated and seasoned. Philly cheesesteak tasted authentic to their culture & I loved it. I also love that the steak was not tough at all. I hate chewy philly cheesesteaks. Now this Mediterranean salad! I could eat that every day. I love a good salad and this one was very good. You can choose to add a meat. I added the chicken and it was so good. Anyone dieting, watching their weight, or just want a good salad you'll love this one. Do walk, RUNNN or drive to try Hot Grill Halal. Not a fan. I ordered chicken strips and a burger. Could be an off day based on the reviews. The burger had a weird after taste. Burgers are not made in house its a frozen pattie. This could be the cause. It ruined it for me. I threw the rest out. A total waste of money. I like supporting halal and small businesses. I ended up just disappointed based on the reviews. read more

This past weekend my son wanted to go eat at this place so we did, and it was just wow! The food and customer service were amazing!!! We had the chicken sandwich, mushroom Swiss burger, and the best of all was the loaded chicken mac and cheese. The older gentleman at the front was very nice and friendly and the young guy who brought us our food to our table was just as nice! Highly recommend checking them out. read more

A new Halal burgers and wings also have great French fries and onion rings here. This is a small family business with a small kitchen so if there's a few order before you, you may need to wait a little bit. But the food is worth the wait. I got their Mac N Cheeserburger the mac & cheese burger. It was very good the mac & cheese really go with the burger. If you add French fries and drink to a combo, it is not a bad deal. I also love the fact they wrote what is what on each box for my to go order. Everything taste fresh and I love the special seasoning they use for the fries and onion ring. Stopped in for a late night dinner, and I was impressed by @hot_grill_mac. we ordered the Rodeo Burger and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. First off I love Buffalo sauce and the Buffalo Chicken sandwich was just perfect. also enjoyed the Rodeo Burger can't go wrong with BBQ sauce on a burger. overall loved it, nothing over the top, just simple good tasting burgers and sandwiches. definitely will be back again to try other items on the menu read more

Ordered the Barbecue Burger Combo today from the recommendation of the nice cashier. Starting with the fries, whatever seasoning they used is top notch and probably the secret ingredient for the original Coke. Then, the burger was crafted in a way that made each ingredient combine into one cohesive flavor organism. The kind of teamwork that hasn't been seen since the creation of the atomic bomb. Found out about this place a few months ago and it quickly became a staple in our house. Whether you order pickup or to-go (they deliver through Uber Eats), the food always tastes fresh and made-to-order. It is consistently delicious.
