It prompted me to switched my choice of protein, and I could visibly tell this irritated the young man. Another worker completed making my order and as I'm heading toward the cashier, I witnessed someone else bringing out freshly cooked chicken. A simple statement such as, "More will be out shortly," would have demonstrated basic courtesy and transparency. Instead, the interaction felt careless and misleading. The only partially redeeming moment was when the female employee at least offered a smile and said "You're welcome," showing the bare minimum of customer service. Without that, I might have requested a chat with a supervisor. This falls FAR BELOW Chipotle's expected standards and should be examined before it ruins other customer experiences. Two times is never a good sign.
